Food and service A+
Reed our waiter made sensational recommendations for main courses, side dishes and even dessert. His overall service was outstanding and that honestly makes the whole dining experience even more pleasurable. The food was delicious and perfectly prepared. The only negative to this restaurant is that it is very noisy.
Food was good- excellent value
Great food, outstanding service. Good menu selection and specials.
This is my 2nd time at Bimini Twist- service is excellent-- our waiter was very accommodating- a little too noisy for me, but liked it despite having to talk over conversations around me- not pleased with the coconut shrimp, but the filet mignon was cooked to perfection- baked potato absolutely huge- had to take food not ( not at all a problem--Key Lime Pie , probably the best I've tasted anywhere-
The food is great, but the noise level is off the charts
My brothers came in town and surprised our Mom. The restaurant manager and all employees helped us surprise her ... They were awesome!! It was a perfect night!!
Great seafood! Always fresh and flavored beautifully. Good sides, great, fresh house salad. Early bird good value and not too early. We always enjoy eating here.
Our waiter was charming, upbeat, & quite helpful when ordering a bottle of delicious cabernet wine. However, the wait for our meal was excessive--over an hour. I finally spoke to him about the long wait, explaining that we were "starved" & suggested that he bring complimentary salads to us rather than more bread, which he graciously did.
The yellow tail snapper was o.k., on the mushy side for me, as was the asparagus. The spinach, baked in individual casseroles, were good.
We had a reservation for Sunday at 5:15 PM; we arrived a little early, but were promptly seated. Our server was wonderful -- very cheerful, knowledgeable about the menu items and kept an eye on us.
The foods was excellent, but with a caveat. My husband wanted to go so as to have some Yellowtail Snapper (three menu items included it). He got the macademia-nut crusted and he said it was very good...but he doubted it was actually Yellowtail (but was instead some other kind of snapper). It certainly could have been, but it didn't taste like it.
The noise level where we were seated was quite loud; however, we were seated close to the kitchen (which really should be fully enclosed -- it's mostly open to the restaurant seating area). I think if we had been at a table close to the windows it would have been a lower noise level.
We like the food at Bimini Twist, but for the menu prices, they really should have a lot less in the way of noise level -- no matter where one is seated. I think fully enclosing the kitchen would help immensely.
Would I recommend Bimini Twist? Yes, I would, although I would tell them to go early and ask to be seated at a table near the windows.
Food was AMAZING!!!! Service was amazing!!! The atmosphere was awesome. Just don't get the tuna tacos, they sucked.
We met friends here for dinner, their first time and they loved it, as much as we do. The food was delicious and our server, Joey, couldn't have been nicer. We drive all the way from Jupiter to enjoy Bimini Twist and we'll be back again soon.
The food was very good. The service was spotty. Me and my wife's soap came way before our friends appetizer came. And they all came way before our drinks. Usually drinks come first. The place is also very noisy but that seems common now a days.
Been here several times and the food has always been outstanding. The lump crab cake is delicious and lots of crab not to much filler. Steaks are great, and the shrimp, and scallop dishes are very good as well. I have had the tuna and snapper and both were outstanding. The spinach Maria is very good. Service is very attentive and glasses are not allowed to run out. Great ambiance although it is a little loud. This restaurant is always packed, so even with reservations expect to wait 10 to 15 minutes for your table.
Paul is awesome. Always remembers us and makes us feel welcome.
Great restaurant, noise level was fine, I took my elderly mother there and she was able to hear good enough inside. Food and service was very good, price great too, made reservations, got in and served right away!
Amazing cocktails... Loved the orange cream martini and specialty "love bird martini" for February. The seafood was cooked to perfection and the service was friendly and professional. We had reservations thank goodness. The parking lot was packed and had to get a little creative to find parking. Other than that, it's no surprise why BT is a local favorite.
It would be great if they actually reserved tables for people with reservations. Otherwise, Bimini Twist is great.
The food was great! Our fish was fresh and perfectly prepared. Crab cakes were pure crab meat; no stuffing or filler. Staff was friendly and accommodating. At peak dinner hour, it was pretty noisy inside; the bar was very full and active. We sat outside; not much of a view (overlooks Okeechobee Blvd), but it was quiet and the weather was perfect. This was our second time here, and our friends' first, and we'll definitely be back.
Been there before x2. Enjoyed dinner. Good food and service. Rib eye was excellent. Was Friday night. A bit noisy.
We were celebrating Valentine’s Day late and this was the perfect place. Service was great, Joey was our waiter and was always checking on us.
The food was delicious and plenty.
We have never been disappointed at Bimini Twist.
Great restaurant overall. Unfortunately no ginger beer for Moscow mules so I had to select another drink. Guy that came around to take pictures for Facebook page was a little odd. Waitress was great and good was amazing.
Food was excellent as always.
Love this place.
The atmosphere is wonderful. It is relaxing and enjoyable to go to this restaurant. I have eaten the maple salmon and it was delicious. I would not hesitate to recommend.
Awesome overall experience. Been there many times and worth the long drive from Ft. Lauderdale.
This was not our first time there. Valentine's day was the occasion for my wife and I. I ordered the Filet-Mignon and the wife ordered the Sword Fish. The meal arrived and as she cut in to the Sword Fish, it was very apparent it was raw. The waiter returned it to the kitchen for a re-fire. I began sharing my meal with my wife. We were finished with my meal, then the waiter returned with the fish. We cut into it again, it was raw. At that point we opted not to try to fire it again. The waiter apologized and removed the Sword Fish from our bill. It was disappointing to say the least. The owners sat at there usual table directly behind us and offered no apologizes. We were taken back by the experience.
We came here for the big V-day celebration. They were running about 30 minutes behind on reservations, not horrible given the holiday. We were seated inside, which suited us well as it was a bit muggy outside and the Florida mosquitoes were out in full force. I was not overly impressed with their V-day special menu, but the food at Bimini is ALWAYS good. We both had several delicious cocktails and mouth watering food. Neither of us left hungry. All in, the meal with drinks and tip cost around $130. We will be back again soon.
I just went for Valentine’s Day and have gone on special occasions food was very good many choices big portions our server was nice but very crowded and noisy horrible with reservation s had reservation for 715 was not seated till almost 8 would go again but not on a busy night host in professional!!
