Birthday Brunch with great ambience and friends.
We thought it was very nice, it was our wedding anniversary. A few things that come to mind
1. It is not as elegant as I expected it to be, considering it is the BILTMORE.
2. There Brunch Buffet is spread over many areas, instead of being in a more consolidated area.
3. The food stations seemed rather dark and poorly lit.
Over all it was nice. Would I go again? Probably not.
Brunch was very good, lots of options, but when we went to the raw bar the crab was already over and they would not replace it anymore.
Excelente pero caro
The best Sunday brunch in Miami ! We like to come back again and again. The food selection is amazing and it is always a great moment - we just love it!!
Un gran lugar para tomar un Brunsh en familia de calidad superior. Muy recomendable.
Everything was top-notch. Some of the servers at the food stations could have been better trained about the food they were serving. I've been going to the Biltmore for 20+ years. It's imperative that they uphold their quality standards of servers. Juan on the guitar is a fantastic attraction. We love his music and the ambiance he creates.
Need to uphold a strong dress-code. Saw some folks that looked like they were dressed for a low-class all -you-can-eat buffet at the mall. Not good.
Overall, it is an amazing experience.
The service was poor. This was not our first time at the brunch. We had to ask for everything - water, drink refills, table clearing, etc. Nothing like our previous experience. Also we had two small children (1 & 3) and spent nearly half of our time in direct sunlight outside. For the price this certainly did not meet our expectations.
Our only complaint is the hallway where to seafood and pasta was set up makes it very hard to get in and out of the rooms. They need to find a way to set it up differently. That main hall on the pool side just gets to crowded. Otherwise, this was our 4th year have Christmas brunch here and we love it.
Food was good, service was slow and seemed disorganized. I was expecting a 5 star experience but it didn't meet expectations.
Service good, but not great. Took a long time to get essentials like water at times. $90 was just a tad too much. I get the whole unlimited caviar and seafood with the ambiance, but I’ve been to other brunches for everything but the caviar and it’s been less. If a little less expensive , I’d say top 5 experiences.
Unfortunately it stopped to be a great experience to be a massive brunch with poor quality food and extremely expensive for what it offers! A few years ago it was just great to be at the Biltmore’s brunch, but not anymore....
Local who comes about once a year, and went for the first time in a while. It was a still a good brunch, but it feels like it has slipped a bit. At $90pp +tax and tip (about $120pp total) it's borderline not worth it unless you're a seafood or dessert junky.
Consistently good over the years: still one of the broadest food selections I've ever seen with, most uniquely, a caviar bar. Pasta station was the only sub par portion (overcooked). The servers were overall attentive, making sure coffee mugs and mimosa flutes stayed full.
Improved over the years: the brunch has always had bottomless mimosas, but now they've added a full open bar with well drinks, beer and wine.
Fallen off: we booked through open table which does not allow you to specify a seating. We arrived at noon on a gorgeous day and we were told we could not sit outside because we did not specify seating preference. The hostess explained that there's only seatings at 10am and 1pm (then why does open table allow a noon reservation?!?!) and we'd have to wait until 2pm (!!!) to see if an outside table is available. Not wanting to wait until 2pm we just took an inside table. We were not the only ones to have this issue - I saw at least 3 other groups being seated inside have a similar issue. I spoke with the manager and he did ultimately seat us outside around 130pm (I guess dessert outside was better than nothing) - and I showed him the interface with open table not allowing an outside booking and he said it was the first he knew that you could not specify the seating option. The manager was WAY friendlier than the hostess, who's dismissive attitude was a bad first impression.
At the end of the day there are numerous quality brunches in town (we personally LOVE Cibo's brunch) for a fraction of the cost. For us, the price just doesn't justify the experience. It used to.
ProTip: Call for your reservations and request outdoor seating if that's important to you - don't book through open table.
As important as first impressions are, we were not greeted when we walked up. The three staff members there did not smile once.
Lovely setting in a historic hotel.
Wait staff were wonderful, food was good and the endless mimosas were delicious. Dessert area impressive. Pasta station lacking.
The cost however is not reflected the selections. Glad I went, but won’t be returning any time soon
The original set of silverware provided had food stuck on it. Other than that, the food was good though.
For the price the service was not up to standards Good food nut again wobble table server was not attentive at all. Plus so many charges besides the 18% Gratuity. Price didn't meet the expectations
Not at all what you expect from a Miami brunch. The windows, walls, and door handles are disgusting dirty. There’s mold around creases, water dripping from air conditioners in your plate! Floors greasy and wet. Napkins, glassware and silverware have stains. The waitresses are rude and do not know/care how to take care of guests. The food it just ok. Will definitely NOT go back.
They allow smoking at tables and I would not have gone if I knew that! Nearly all food was cold. Service did not live up to Biltmore standard
Biltmore brunch is a classic. It is pricey but the food selection is excellent plus there is an open minibar available as well that offers drinks other than only mimosas. Their service is outstanding and the staff is a pleasure. The courtyard is beautiful and it is a very pleasant environment, good for all occassions.
The Biltmore brunch is always a wonderful experience and the Biltmore hotel is such a great venue. The outside seating is spectacular in the courtyard but if it’s too hot, go and sit indoors. The seafood selection is amazing even though they did run out of crab legs early in the brunch. The only complaint I have is that the meats ( beef and pork roasts) are not up to the quality of the rest of the food. They were tough and dry; otherwise, there’s so many other items to eat. The pasta and breakfast stations were excellent. The service was amazing and our waitress was always refilling our glasses and collecting our used plates.
The charm of the Biltmore in Coral Gables in and of itself is worth the visit. One feels as if you’re in Andalusia in Spain. The Sunday Brunch offers an incredible array of tantalizing dishes from the simplest to the most sophisticated palates. From bacon and eggs Benedict to three different kinds of caviar and an assortment of desserts to satisfy an intense sugar fix. Highly personable and attentive waitstaff enhance the overall experience. Be sure to climb the stairs to the lobby and sit for awhile to soak in the atmosphere. Truly a grand experience.
Great food and drinks. Great service. Perfect place to take family or friends to brunch. Service was excellent and prompt when needed. Will be definitely visiting again!!
The Biltmore Sunday Brunch blew our minds away. The array of food was unbelievable, the quality exceptional and the service truly outstanding.
We arrived and had been given a table inside. It is a beautiful restaurant but as it was a gorgeous day and not too hot we asked to change to an outside table.
Quick check with the hostess, of course not a problem.
We started with the most fantastic Alaskan King Crab from the Raw Bar and what a treat it was.
The champagne flowed for 3 hours, even after we had paid our bill, we asked if we might have another glass whilst we wait for our taxi to arrive. No problem at all.
We can not recommend the Biltmore for brunch and we will 100% head back if we are back in Miami.
Date night, anniversaries, birthdays or just looking for an exceptional way to spend a Sunday, this is the reservation you need to make!
Thank you everyone at the Biltmore for a truly memorable (well as much as one can remember after unlimited champagne) Sunday.
My family and I had a wonderful afternoon at the Biltmore. The food was delicious, but the service was even better. Our waiter Miguel was just awesome and so friendly and sweet. The other wait staff was also friendly and.very on top of everything. Lovely experience and well worth the price!!
Very enjoyable, although parties take precedence over couples. Disappointed that smoking is permitted in a dining venue of this quality.
Always lovely to sit out by the fountain listing to the calming music and conversing over an amazing high end choice of foods... a caviar bar.. wonderful bread pudding not to be missed. The Biltmore is lovely.
Breakfast food was hard and cold. Crunchy cold pancakes and crunchy French toast!!!! Caviar was bad quality caviar and the rest of the food was very mediocre. Not worth $120 per person. Very disappointed
Phenomenal anniversary champagne brunch. Excellent choices and ambience. Highly recommend
Amazing!!! So many options whether you are carnivorous or vegetarian. Delicious offerings, adult beverages and desserts! The caviar bar is perfection! Get over here and enjoy the best brunch ever!
Got there relatively early. The food was set up and beautifully displayed. The breakfast items tasted like they’d been sitting out for awhile and tasted average at best. The other room with dinner items tasted much better and appeared fresh. The dessert section was outstanding as was the overall service.
El brunch del Biltmore nunca nos decepcionó, ambiente espectacular, la música del gran Juan Areco, la comida deliciosa y la compañía de mi querida familia!
My expectations were too high. Carving a piece of pork , lamb o chateaubriand would be a must. The food was not opulent. My senses were not filled and soon I felt tired by motion. My appetite disappeared. All looked me odorless and tasteless. It needs a improvement.Sincerely.
the staff was to lazy ,they disappear all the time, the service was terrible.
They used to be the best. Maybe it’s because of it being off season but if you remove items and reduce the quantity of food then you should reduce your price to match.
The brunch was stunning. I highly recommend. It was a fantastic experience. I’m glad we took a later flight out so we could really enjoy the meal. We spent 2 1/2 hours there and never felt rushed. The food not only looked wonderful but was also wonderfully prepared.
My entire party had a wonderful Sunday brunch. We loved the excellent food selection as well as the friendly staff
My Dads birthday
Food was very good but we were expecting something outstanding so we were disappointed from that standpoint. We were also disappointed by the fact that the brunch is not served by the pool which is truly the highlight of the Biltmore.
Reservation process painless, BUT on the phone I was told "we have 2 sittings: 10am and 1pm." Website does not say this, nor did I see this information anywhere else. 10am was fine for us, so that was not an issue. We arrived on time and were seated after a very brief wait. Maitre' D and wait staff were SUPER friendly. After about half an hour we asked if we could move from indoor area to an outdoor table - 4 waiters helped us move and insisted on carrying our glasses and plates and were amazingly cheerful about the process, which must have been a pain for them. We had so much fun we did not leave until 4pm (six hours!). Food was amazing and the champagne and drinks flowed freely. Only complaint was the champagne of the day was not that great, so we switched to a rose that was also being offered, it was much better, and we also sampled a new vodka that we had not heard of; also excellent. (YES, we took Uber both ways) Thanks to the Biltmore, we thoroughly enjoyed a perfect day!!!!
As always ... perfect ! Staff, food, atmosphere all totally perfect ! It was the end of our holiday and we saved the best for last ! Thank you Biltmore for another fabulous experience! The experience is worth every penny ! Just ended our holiday perfectly. Thank you
