Our group of 12 experienced our first ever Thanksgiving meal dining out. Our three grandsons are not fans of Thanksgiving food, so they were thrilled with the other choices and definitely got their money’s worth😂 You are so lucky to have Savannah as an employee—so kind, attentive and such a personality! She’s definitely a keeper! Parking was available with ease. You provided a wonderful experience for us. Thanks so much.

Overall, we thought it was very good and enjoyed ourselves. The service was excellent. I am from California and took my mother and sister out for a special Thanksgiving meal and we were all pleased. One small complaint, since I can't get corn pudding or collard greens in California I was disappointed when those were not on the buffet as advertised on the menu.

My wife and I dine at Billy’s a few times a year. Yesterday was our fourth Thanksgiving meal. The choices weren’t extensive as in the past, but definitely more than adequate. That said, I understand, in the Biden economy, food is much more expensive, and Billy’s tries to maintain a certain price point. Nevertheless, all the food was delicious. I would have given a 5 star for overall, except for the following. The martini I ordered was a joke. First of all, it was in a small non traditional glass, and no exaggeration, it was less than half full. Our nice waitress exchanged it for an adequate fill. Btw, Billy’s house “oaked” Chardonnay was excellent.

Billy’s was a great experience. The Thanksgiving buffet was tasty, varied and generous. The meats were moist and mildly seasoned. The whole family enjoyed the meal even my picky eater. And the cost was very very reasonable. The one comment we would make is that the decor, especially on the second floor where we were, could be spruced up and modernized a bit.

Most of the food was good. Our steaks were under done. One ordered medium carried medium rare but edible. One was ordered medium rare and arrived well- seared on the outside, but raw in the middle. We hesitated to complain because one hears horror stories about how the returned food is treated before it comes back. Ultimately, the raw one was taken back to the kitchen and we waited. And waited. After 15 minutes we tracked down the manager. We expect it sat back there until we mentioned it to the manager. He explained the delay was due to a new steak coming out. It was not new. It was still the same one that was still quite rare but we just finished it as was. Maybe they tossed it under warmer? The manager and waitress were very nice. They comped some items and threw in a dessert. We just wanted a nice meal and this establishment came highly recommended for quality dining. We assume that the chef/kitchen calls the shots here and we received our punishment for daring to register a complaint. All restaurant employees from the manager to the chef to the dishwasher need to understand that what keeps them in business is the customer (who provides the revenue). Sadly this was a poor experience for us. We will remember Billy’s in Roanoke, but for all the wrong reasons.

A lovely dinner! Our waitress, Asha (?), made the evening perfect! She was the best waitress I think I have had in years! Each entree was delicious- mahi, grouper and a filet. The scallops wrapped in bacon appetizer was cooked just right! What a lovely setting to catch up with extended family. Thank you Asha for your extraordinary service.

The food was good but it was so crowded it was obvious the staff was running to try to deliver service. Service was slow and the server kept apologizing for the delays that she had a large party in another room. We had requested a table close to a window but was seated in a back room in a corner. We have eaten there many times but it was obvious this time they squeezed extra tables in both large rooms and did t have enough staff to accommodate them.

Sunny was our server, and she was so attentive and took great care of us. We arrived an hour before our reservation because we got into town early, and they were able to seat us immediately. We had the prime rib and the salmon, both were delicious, and ended with creme brûlée. We will definitely be back!

Run here if you want a true fine dining experience!!! Everything was spectacular!! The lobster cheese sauce for the steaks was divine-we ended up eating it with almost everything. Mahi mahi with pineapple salsa and risotto…mmmm! The pumpkin Russian melted on the tongue. Cowboy ribeyes were cooked perfectly!!! Highly recommend this place for a great experience.

Very mediocre overall. It’s basically one big crowded noisy room with little ambience. The dinner rolls before are cheap, cold and the butter is in foil. Expect a little more from a place I’m paying 3040$ per plate. Food is average very average. Will never go again.

I was in Roanoke on business, and this restaurant was recommended. I really enjoyed the ambience service and food. The restaurant is in the downtown area and garage parking is very nearby if needed. If you are thinking of dining here… Do it!

Unfortunately, this time Billy’s was a disappointment. For the amount of money I spent, the quality should have been better. The pork belly appetizer was all fat and cold. The crab cakes were burnt and the filet was flavorless. The waiter said nothing when he took away our half finished plates.

We enjoyed Billy’s food was excellent service a bit awkward. We tried to slow her down at first she really wanted our order. We just ordered apps first and glasses of wine. The tuna app was excellent. After a few minutes we told her we didn’t want to be rushed. At 8:15 we ordered our entrees we didn’t get them until 9:00. It was not due to them being busy as the main dinner crowd had dwindled. When we got our entrees they were both very good. We had the lamb lollipops and the tortellini stroganoff. Enjoyed Billy’s a lot service odd.

Last minute reservation for a group of 15. We had a hard time finding a place that is open on mondays, thank goodness Billy’s was open to celebrate our son’s birthday! They took great care of us and everyone loved their food. We will be returning!

Very high noise level. This is the 3rd time I've been here in about the last 6 weeks and they're always packed and I'm glad to see that they're doing well. However, it can be difficult to carry on a vary basic conversation in the group due to the extremely loud background noise level.
