We always enjoy our visit and food and the waiters know us and treat us well and always have smiles
Great Evening! We both enjoy dinner at Billy's whenever possible.
We brought two friends that had never been there. They also enjoyed the entire evening.
Third time eating here and I am always impressed by the food. The staff are absolutely wonderful. We always enjoy our experience at Billy's.
Lovely ambiance, delicious food—I enjoyed the salmon with crabmeat special, the other guest salmon and a chicken pasta dish—a lemontine cocktail recommended by our conscientious server, and a few jokes from Chef Nadir made for a relaxing meal with friends.
Great restaurant with fairly hood selection of entrees. Service was good and portions were huge!
Food was amazing!!! Service had a lot to be desired for a Friday night.
Both entrees had to be returned to the kitchen. The steak--ordered medium well-- was Rare and the Shrimp special was under cooked. They. never got the steak above medium. Service was O. K. Overall this establishment has taken a turn for the worse.
Haven’t been there in years until the other night. I’ll be going back more often now!
Took a high school friend whom I hadn't seen for many years. Billy's is a prefect venue to catch up over a leisurely dinner.
I always enjoy Billy's. Unfortunately this last time, I had the veal picata and it was ok though the noodle portion was way too large. I couldn't eat most of it.
Thank you! My wife and I had a good time. The food was excellent! The atmosphere was great! I would try Billy’s if you haven’t done so. Excellent food, great atmosphere and excellent service!
It's a beautiful old house, nicely redone with several intimate dining rooms. Quiet atmosphere, and excellent food. My wife had the pork shank and I had the blackberry duck. Both were delicious. Our waiter was attentive but not intrusive. And afterwards the owner Nader Farabod talked with us and shared some jokes. Very nice evening.
Unique place with great food and service
A surprising find in downtown Lincoln. Charming ambiance. Great food. Excellent value.
Awesome food, service, and atmosphere. A must go for any occasion.
I've never been disappointed with the food or the service at Billy's. The owner has been visible at all of my visits and often chats with you ESPECIALLY if you have questions about the house and pictures. You can tell he takes a lot of pride in everything at Billy's and I've always appreciated that special touch.
If you want a quick, cheap meal this is not the place to go. But if you want great service, food, drinks and ambiance that you don't experience just anywhere, Billy's is the place!
Went there for 40th birthday dinner, and it was fantastic. It’s a very unique ambiance as it is a nice restaurant set up In a historical home near the state capital with many antiques and each room of the house is another dining area. We made reservations and they had our table ready and even though we were a little late we were jus welcomed eagerly and taken to our prepared table. The food, drinks and customer service were just as memorable as the environment and it’s an excellent value for the quality and quantity. Will definitely be visiting again!
We love Billy’s. Always great food and the specials are as well. We go as often as we can. Highly recommend it.
We enjoy Billy’s. The homey feel, the historic home setting and ambiance are excellent.
The food is also great. The chef is creative. We love the Brussels sprouts appetizer...and my significant other doesn’t like Brussels sprouts normally.
Great, romantic feel. We come here about once a month for date night.
Jered and I had such a great evening! The food was amazing and portions were so big! We interacted quite a bit with the owner and his son was our waiter. Very friendly and personable! We had a lovely time 😍
We enjoyed the evening very much. It was a bit noisy from one of the tables though but they were having a good time . The food was delicious. We both had Veal Marsala but a little too much macaroni on top
It was an enjoyable evening
It pains me to write a poor review. We were so excited to come to Billy's. We put in a reservation over a month in advance but had to wait 15 minutes for our table. We went early and had to in total wait 25 minutes, it seems having a reservation means nothing.
Our waiter was super friendly but was morei interested in being a good waiter elsewhere as he hardly came by.
The food is high priced but with the high end setting and lamb on the menu that is fine and even a little fun. My husband ordered the aged ribeye and I the rack of lamb, we split each to share. The meat and veggies were soooo plain...I asked for steak sauce to try to eat it, and I hate condiments but it was inedible how plain it was. Al Lyon could taste was meat.. plain meat. And the unseasoned veggies I was able to salvage with salt andpepper. . I wondered if maybe the chef wasnt working that night but my husband saw him in the kitchen. We wanted Billy's ro be so much more, but ended with a check please and throwing away 60 bucks worth of meat.
Billy's is a unique and very comfortable place right near the Capitol. Loved the ambiance and it felt comfortable the minute we walked in. They seemed a bit understaffed the night we were there and we had to wait a while to find a hostess to get seated and then another ten minutes before someone stopped by to drop off menus. It was crowded which was good for them and there was a crush of people that all showed up it seems at the same time. The bread rolls and butter are stupendous! Could have had those all night...ordered the filet medium which was to be "pink" but was not and was cold and tough. As were the potatoes and the soup. Again, minor nitpicks as I think they were just understaffed and could not keep up. I still would recommend and may try it again someday but the food experience was not the best.
Went for dinner before a concert. Ordered glasses of wine, appetizer and entree. Service was good and food fantastic. There is sometimes worry when finding before a scheduled show but there was little waiting for food to come out but still didn't feel rushed, either.
Over-priced, poorly executed food. The Brie was not warm. The prime rib ordered medium rare was medium well. For a limited menu, it should be cooked perfectly. The chicken carbonara barely had any chicken.
Hello, We want to thank you for bringing this to our attention. We would also like to apologize for your experience you had. If you could reach out to us, we would like to make this right for you and your guest. Thank you for your time.
The food was delicious, and the menu was varied and everything we saw served to neighboring tables looked as fabulous as our meals. But, the noise level was so high, that we could not converse.
Thank you Debra! We hope to see you soon. We appreciate your feedback.
Our server was absolutely amazing! Billys is a place id recommend over and over. The food is absolutly amazing!
Food was mediocre at best. Mushy vegetables, and rice was one big clump. My husbands veal had a sour taste. This restaurant really needs updated.
Great experience!! Food was cooked to perfection. Billy himself is a great guy and definitely loves what he does.
2 larger groups surrounded our table. These groups were getting quite a bit of attention and they were loud. Hard to enjoy an intimate birthday dinner with my wife. Wish we could have been placed in more appropriate seating.
Really nice date spot. Try the Brussels sprouts appetizer.
Food was fantabulous! Ambiance was zen. The Owner is a hoot and the wait staff is attentive.
The food at Billy's was good and reasonably priced but not exceptional. The server was delightful but she was serving the entire restaurant by herself and we were left either waiting for food or for our check. It was not the server's fault.
I will say that the ambiance was quiet and somewhat intimate and parking was off-street and spacious.
Loved this. The food was amazing and the service was impeccable
We are very happy to know you had a pleasurable time. Thank you for your feedback.
Our group (5 people) were celebrating a college graduation and we decided this would be a place to try as none of us had been here. We arrived and were seated promptly. The bar was right next to our table and we ordered drinks and studied the menu. We ordered two appetizers, crab cakes, and Brussel sprouts, which were excellent. We ordered our entrees and they included the ribeye, filet mignon, and mahi-mahi along with a chicken parmesan with salads and wild rice soup. I have had better steaks than what we were served, but our family is in the beef industry and our standards are pretty high. All in all, it was good to a very good meal and would be adequate for most people. Our bill came to $188 for 5 people which was expected. I would recommend trying this restaurant but don't believe it would be a one that would be on the "Regular" list of places to frequent. The service was good and the people were pleasant.
Generous servings and delicious food! We had a great time dining with our daughters before going to a show at the Leid Center.
Good experience. If you order the filet, order it one level higher. MEd Rare was rare
Chef always comes out himself. Food is amazing. I had the filet and it melted in my mouth. Brussel sprout appetizers were so good even the people at my table who don't like brussel sprouts got seconds.
the food is magnificent. the owner comes around and checks on you. the atmosphere is beautiful.
food was generous but a bit heavy. ambiance was good. service was good. need to lighten up on food portions and heaviness of meal. but good overall.
