Bill's Steak and Seafood Ratings and Reviews
We visit Bills often and have never been disappointed until Saturday. They were out of Prime Rib, no surprise there as we had a late reservation so I already had a second choice of Porterhouse. The steak was of terrible quality, so tough I had to saw it with the steak knife.
Wont make that mistake again.
If you want to gorge yourself on lobster you can't beat Bill's $99 Lobster special for 2 dinner. They serve 2 2 1/2 lb. Lobsters served with fresh corn and a baked potato. The meal also includes salad, glam chowder (Manhattan or New England) as well as rolls and butter. What a meal.
I have dined here3 times and would love to make this our neighborhood go to place but something's been amiss on each trip.
1st time it was the food. My lobster salad tasted like chemicals
2nd time it was the food -fish swimming in butter but hey some people might like that. Also, very rude people but that's not the owners fault. Kept telling us how great " the band" was except all it was was a gal with a synthesizer.
3rd time- extremely rude bartender. Heavy on the attitude but light on delivering any refills. This nite food was above avg. jade the boiled lobster. So that's what you go there for-lobster. Not the atmosphere or staff
We love Bill's!!!! This place is a must every time we come to Naples! The live music is always great and entertaining but the food is the bomb! This time we had the twin lobsters and king crab platter. The lobster is always excellent. This was my first time with the crab and it was exceptional, already split for you! Always a great experience at Bills... but bring patience, the wait staff is always slow.
Bill's is an overlooked gem. It's along busy South Tamaimi Trail and sits back off the route in a shopping strip. First visit was a day out with girlfriends , lunchtime, looked like a possibility and none of us had ever been there, What a great surprise! Fabulous seafood, good prices and the staff is the Best! We've brought friends back many times since that day...and, altho' we live here, during season You Better Have a Reservation! Great spot
This is the second time we have eaten at Bills. The food is very good. Both the seafood and the steaks, as we have tried both are very well prepared. They serve large portions so they are worth the price. The servers could be a little more attentive, and that would be my main complaint.
On Saturdays, which is the day we have gone they have a couple that sing and play music . It gets a bit loud, but people enjoy dancing to their music and it is fun to watch as well.
Great place, great food, great music, great service with the exception of one female bartender with an attitude. Hard to believe there have not been more complaints about her. I have been to this restaurant 3 times now, brought friends twice and have had two bad experiences with this same nasty bartender.
You can always count on Bill's to serve up superb Lobstah! Hubby, daughter and I celebrated our 35th Anniversary. We get a great vibe every time we walk in the door. We enjoyed the 2 lobster special. Imagine ! 2 whole lobsters, corn and crunchy fresh salad for $22! I am in heaven when the mouth is full of lobstah meat and butter running down my chin onto the plastic bib!
Love the food but when you try to eat a nice relaxed dinner, it is way to loud. Live band is between the bar and the dining room (mainly in the dinning room) with a dance floor and you cannot talk. It would be better if all the noise was in the bar with the dance floor.
Disappointing. Heard great things about Bill's. Being from New England we looked forward to fish. Baked Stuffed Haddock wasn't fresh. Stuffed Quahogs were over micro waved for sure. Chicken Piccata had a white sauce? Latin music was best part of evening. Maybe better during season.
We were a party of four and three of us got the prime rib which was delicious and when we got the haddock which was also delicious . The only problem we had is I got the wedge salad which I love it's a meal in itself and I had the waitress take it to put it in a box and we never got it to take home and I was really disappointed because I was looking forward to eating the leftover salad , they have the best wedge salad around .
Phenomenal find! We happened to mKe our first visit not only on a night with live music but on a day you could get two one-pound lobsfor $24.99! Not only was the meal affordable, but it was delicious! I started with steamed littleneck clams that I literally could have eaten a bucket of! My husband and daughter had exquisite Groupon fingers for their appetizer. While my husband had the lobster special for dinner, I had some of the best stuffed shrimp with baked potato and veggies I've ever had. Our daughter had a kid's grilled cheese that was also perfection in its own right. We followed this meal with the tasty key lime pie. This meal was a total win! Highly recommended!!!
My husband and I were in town visiting the kids and they had good experiences previously. Wednesday night they had a band, which would have been great any other night but it was hard to have a conversation. We thought the band would take a break but they never did (normal that would be awesome). The band was interactive with the crowd which was great.
The portions were great for the price. The service was OK but I probably would have given them more stars and the following incident does influence my decision for a return visit. My first drink had a bug in it when the server bought it to me. So while the server apologized, I would have expected a discount on my dinner (not all 5) or at the very least a free drink. That did not happen. Poor customer service thinking and training.
Disappointed in this visit. Although numerous reviews have mentioned the extremely bright lights, and lack luster service, I decided to go support a local duo performing there. Sure enough, bright lights, and mediocre ambiance. I was one of 3 tables dining there at 8pm, which should have been the 1st sign. Although the food tasted ok (and I mean just "ok"), I decided to take the rest home to see if I could doctor it up.
Unfortunately, a couple of hours after returning home, I became violently ill, so I immediately discarded the left overs. I will be in no rush to return here, no matter the food specials not entertainment featured.
Went here for Mother's Day to get Mom her favorite meal...lobster. They will bring you a basket of hot rolls if you request so. E sure to ask. Started with a bowl of New England clam chowder which is fantastic! One of the better recipes we've had. One of us had twin lobsters which are whole and about a pound. They were very good but just a little bit on the chewy side. The other two had filet and lobster tail which they said was fantastic. Filet was very tender. Waiter was ok but failed to come back and check on us. Will probably go back again next time in Florida.
