I have passed this place by quite a few times but never tried it. I thought this would be a great opportunity to do so. We arrived 15-20 minutes early and they seated us without a wait. It wasn't the best table or of my preference but not a big deal. The waitress seemed really nice but she just was barely there. We had to wait long intervals before she would return. My friend had an issue with her food and sent it back three different times.
In the end when we were leaving I noticed that they had a B rating in the window. This was "kindly" blocked by the menu they had standing in front of it outside. I do wish it wasn't blocked because had I saw that beforehand, I definitely would have made my way to Del Frisco's or Morton's as I normally do. I didn't even bother to get a milkshake after the whole hide and seek ordeal. This was an experience, but I'll keep passing next time. At least for this location.
Hostess upstairs was having challenges, however downstairs was welcoming and Kim extraordinary! My friend's first experience of the shrimp burger. Only recommendation -- bring back the Grand Esplanade!!
My daughter's favorite restaurant -- and she's 3 years old! A nice and simple kid's menu, great fish tacos, and a solid place for a quick bite in a sit-down setting. Booths for families, and oh yeah... the burgers kick butt!
Food was great. Service excellent and quick. Kid friendly!
Staff was very nice and helpful. Good came out pretty quickly and was a good burger and milkshake.
Best and most inexpensive meal I had while visiting NYC. And right next to Rockefeller Center.
Loved the place! Great food, service, and overall atmosphere. Would definitely recommend.
Really good food and the service was great! I would definitely recommend to anyone
Service was fast and friendly. Kids enjoyed the atmosphere but food was mediocre to poor. Kids' meal fries tasted like cardboard. Slider buns were stale and food otherwise unexceptional. Will not go back.
Dinner took a full hour to receive (2 sandwiches). Our side was served when we were 90% done with our food. Plus, it was overcooked and had to be sent back. My hubby worked at Ruth’s Chris for many years. If the waitstaff is “in the weeds” go and apologize or send a manager over to talk. Nothing was done. In my 30+ years of eating out, that was the first time I didn’t leave a tip.
Very mediocre. The only reason we chose to eat there was that it was close to Radio City Music Hall where we had show tickets. When we arrived- well before the dinner rush- the hostess at first couldn't find the reservation, then sent us downstairs to another hostess for seating. The second hostess sent us back upstairs despite the fact that there were many empty tables. When we finally did get seated it took more time to get menus and over 15 minutes for someone to take our order. 45 minutes later the entire order( soups, appetizers, and entrees) came out at once.
Yes, the food was hot as served, but otherwise bland. Inexpensive though.
Two hours in the place to get a bowl of soup and a hamburger. No Thanks.
Excellent spot for a pre-theater dinner. Absolutely delicious chili fries and corn chips with guacamole. Tasty burgers, and very very good gluten-free bun. Friendly, accommodating wait staff. Excellent location and a fun time before the show at Radio City Music Hall.
Sat on time, but no food to 80 minutes means we up and left. They comped our drinks but still not worth it.
Took 30 minutes for our drinks to come. Our server was very apologetic and he was great
If you have a large group in midtown, this seems like a great place to go as it is two levels and can definitely accommodate. However, as a group of 2 who ordered after a group of 15, it took over an HOUR to get our food at 5:30pm on a Saturday. Not only were we massively delayed, but so was the large group and many other tables around no us. No comps or anything. What a waste of time.
