Bill's Bar and Burger Ratings and Reviews
We made a reservation for 4 at 11:30 A.M. in order to attend an event at Radio City Music Hall. We arrived at the restaurant 25 minutes early, but they seated us immediately. Service was swift. Menu is limited. Burgers are juicy but maybe a bit too greasy. Fries were light and skinny, with good flavor, but had cooled off a bit by the time they were served. Glad to have a place very close to the show. Made it easy to get where we were going in plenty of time. Prices moderate for NYC.
Made a reservation for a date night with my husband before going skating at Rockefeller while on vacation. We were seating as soon as we arrived, the beer was delicious and the food came out fast and hot! Great location as well. Would absolutely recommend making a reservation as the wait time was between 1-2 hours for walk in guests.
Two friends and I went for a pre-Christmas Show lunch. We had a reservation for 2:30. We got seated right away. Server, Stephen, was good. Food took a while to come because they were busy. Food was excellent! We will definitely go here again.
Highly recommend it and definitely better to make reservations. Fills up fast. It is located down the block from Radio City.
I usually do not going to restaurants that are labeled grade pending because of the health violations that cause their grade to be denigrated down to grade pending
However I was meeting a client there and I decided we would dine in there but I would not recommend this restaurant right now nor go back until they are back to a grade A rating
Bill’s Bar and Burger was a great find for us. It’s very conveniently located close to Radio City- our destination. We wanted a nice sit down lunch that was moderately priced. Nice beer list, burger was great. Our order of wings was a bit dry- our only complaint. Our waitress was exceptional. I would definitely return for another meal.
We were visiting NY from the UK & had struggled to find GF options in the City. Chains which are reliable at home (Prets) failed to compare in NY unless you want salad for $9.
Bill's came through!!!!! - a simple burger in a GF bun & fries. Heaven when you want something quick, simple, tasty but not breaking the bank!
We visited the night the tree lights went on at Rockefeller, so it was a really good evening. Would definitely recommend Bill's to friends visiting the City.

First time here and it was a very good experience. The food is burgers and sandwiches. I ordered a "Ranch Hand" burger and sweet potato waffle fries and both were delicious! My daughter and friend shared a Fourth of July milkshake for dessert and the waiter brought out 2 of the mixer cups with the shake so it was more like getting 3 shakes. It was delicious! I've been to many NYC restaurants where I felt rushed but not here. The food was good, the prices were moderate and service was excellent. I would definitely recommend this place!
Well the location just a few steps from radio city was outstanding, but that is where the positives mostly end. Reservation was ready on time. They asked if we wanted a high top / window table i said sure. very hard to climb up on the chairs with all the tables so close people bumping into each other. just enough room on table for the 'stuff on the table' plus 2 plates - the appetizer was quick but not as described. 2 bites into it, the main meal came - i sent it back as there was no place to put it - they had it on the warmer then later the waiter came back cleared table and rebrought our dinner and shake. the food was good / ok - but didnt meet my expectations, seems like a great place for drinks not dinner - there is another part / room downstairs and on the other side maybe it is better - maybe the mistake was mine saying yes for the window table
My family (5 of us) made a reservation through Opentable for lunch before we were going to Radio City to see The Christmas Spectacular. We were brought right in, no wait. The waitress was very friendly, the burgers were very tasty and the shakes were awesome. The food came really quick considering the place was packed. It’s a very casual setting which is what we were looking for and it is really close to Radio City Music Hall. Great place to go before a show.
