Big River Grille - Disney
Brewery Nachos with Beef or Chicken
tortilla chips with pepper jack cheese, jalapeño, pico de gallo, and sour cream
grilled chicken, Swiss cheese, guacamole, lettuce, tomato, and chipotle mayonnaise served with kettle chips
Beer Cheese Soup
Great Beer, Mediocre Food. The salsa was clearly Pace from a jar and the burgers were pre-frozen from Costco.
Our server was fantastic. Antispating our needs without hovering. But we won't be back till they put the meatloaf back on the menu!!
Nothing special but not bad either kinda like a “fancier” golden coral. Their nachos were Tostitos which was a total disappointment and looked like something a toddler made with “beef” which was actually Taco Bell ground beef. One of those, if you’re really hungry and nothing else around it’s worth a try.
The host was negative, the atmosphere was really below standard for Disney property. My husband’s burger wasn’t cooked and then we were told they would remove it from the bill (I would hope so?). We were charged for his replacement entree after having to wait an additional 20 minutes and the food was mediocre at best. I’m really disappointed. We’re annual passholders who have dined at most restaurants on Disney property and probably won’t return.
Food is well seasoned.
Great meal as always.
Staff is great service is very good. They definitely need a mew cook. I was there two different days once for lunch and once for dinner. Both times the food was way over cooked. I’ve been at Big River in Nashville; so much better.
The restaurant desperately needs an update once you take into account Disney Springs is right down the street. The menu is very basic. It was sad to see the Boardwalk still mostly closed. It makes staying in this area a hard sell.
They didn’t have a number of things in their menu and the quality of the food was not great
So delicious and great service
Not really great. No atmosphere, service wasn't great either. Trying to get the attention of our server to order food was a challenge and it wasn't exactly packed!
Food was pretty average too.
Great time! Food was delicious and service was excellent.
Glad to see them come back after the pandemic. Our server was very attentive. Drinks came out very quick. Menu wasn't as large before covid but it has something for everyone
So far the best well-done ribeye I’ve ever had. Temp was perfect and yet tender still.
This is a very enjoyable place at The Boardwalk.
I did feel bad for our waitress- she was SLAMMED. They are hurting like everyone else unfortunately with a lack of workers.
The food is consistently good- nothing out of the ordinary but still very yummy. I highly recommend their light beer. Its soooo delicious and refreshing.
The portions are VERY large which is nice to be able to split.
I do wish they would update the interior, the decor is terrible. But outside seating at the right time is fantastic.
The food was very bland and not worth the money spent to come here. Server kept forgetting things and wasn’t very attentive. Overall, wouldn’t come back.
Mark provided us with fantastic service and the food was delicious!
Great location, but that’s about it. The food was very meh...many better options available in the area
Great food and service. Very accommodating staff.
Met up with friends who were in from Ohio and spending the day at EPCOT - perfect spot to meet for dinner. Food was all very good and the staff friendly.
The food quality was awful for the price. Had the Santa Fe grilled chicken salad, the chicken was not grilled rather chicken from a can. Reminded me of canned tuna with the taste and texture. The fish tacos were cold. No real cooking on the property as took 5 minutes from order to receiving the food. A positive note the wait staff was friendly and attentive, which I feel bad for having to serve this slop. Find a chef that doesn’t now how to use a microwave. Disney needs to do a better job with quality control of outside vendors.
Food was just ok. Very bland. Even the guacamole and cajun pasta.
Big River Grille has been a long time favorite of my friends and family at Disney's Boardwalk. It has American fare and a microbrewery. I love the ambiance, either seated outside along the boardwalk or inside along the windows overlooking the boardwalk. It's a great casual option. We can feel comfortable eating there on evenings coming straight from the theme parks, and nice enough to plan for non park evenings as well. The menu has healthy options, such as entree salads, or more hearty dishes such as pasta, ribeye, ribs, or burgers. Nice option for adults or families.
Chicken for nachos an quesadilla is consistency of canned chicken. No freshness appeared in meal.
Good food. Good prices. Service was almost nonexistent. 10 min late for reservation... transportation issues... my bad. We waited another hour to be sat. Long waits for menus, drinks, food. Never checked on for refills or dessert. Had to go to go ask for refills and dessert. Automatic gratuity that clearly wasn’t earned. We had been here before and we excited to share with our family... so disappointed and embarrassed.
Great food and nice view on the boardwalk
A great place to eat while at the Disney boardwalk area.
It was a little loud, but less loud than most Disney-based eateries. Beer was fine and had so e variety. Food was pretty solid. Kids crushed the burgers and the California Chicken was solid. Our server Joe was absolutely amazing and made it special.
Decent food. A bit over priced for what you get. It's def worth going to the bar for some great beer but the meal is only mediocre.
Food was okay. Probably should have tried their ribs or a hamburger which sounded tasty;). Did not sit inside so can’t review indoor atmosphere.
Boardwalk was enjoyable to view while sitting outside if you like to people watch.
My wife and I enjoyed a very nice lunch outdoors. Great for people watching, enjoying the boardwalk views, all complimented by good food and good drinks.
Perfect outdoor setting at Disney’s Boardwalk
We are on our honeymoon. It was really nice and relaxing. Our server was amazing!
Great time, I miss the old menu though and the broader selection of beers. I hope with time everything will return to normal.
While it was quite difficult to get a reservation any where on such short notice, we were able to get one here. While it did take a few minutes to get seated it wasn't a problem and when we did our server was quite prompt in getting our orders. I had the Big Brew cheeseburger and it was quite good. It was interesting that this place didn't offer fries as a side but not a big deal at all. Our burgers were quite good and not dried out while the amount of sides was perfect. Overall it was a pleasant experience.
Food was okay not great not terrible. Staff and service was very good.
Very hard to make a reservation. They only take Open Table but do not let Disney guests know this even tho the restaurant is at DW. Dumb! Steak was so tough it was barely edible. Our server mumbled when he talked which was made all the worse by the noise level in the restaurant. We were seated near the kitchen and could hear the employees screaming at each other over the very loud music. Menu options were very limited. Overall, I do not recommend eating here unless you can't get in anywhere else.
Delicious and great service. Will come back!
Excellent food in a nice relaxing atmosphere! Austin our server was amazing! Very attentive and he made sure our experience was perfect! So happy with our lunch we will most definitely be going back!
