People next to us very loud. Food arrived out of order and and main entree arrived very late. Staff friendly. Great ocean views. Spacious. True casual and family friendly...

Ordered 2 appetizers and drinks before dinner. They we're all good. We also ordered the shrimp scampi and fish and chips. Food was real good but pretty standard fare. Nothing worth 5 stars. Server could have been a little friendlier. But overall we had a good time and a nice dinner with a scenic view of the ocean.

Wood floors...wood walls. Wood ceilings...equal a noise level too loud to enjoy the dining experience. Couple that with 20 minutes to receive drink order....and we will not be returning.

Food was mediocre and service was very poor. Great location but can't recommend it for dinner unless you just want to have drinks and the fried green beans at happy hour

We enjoyed a tasty meal that used local ingredients and had a great value. The outdoor patio had a wonderful ocean view that added to the enjoyment of the dining experience.

Food was really good. Best seafood chowder I have had in a few years. A meal by itself.

Great views of the sunset and the beach and waves.

We are trying to visit as often as we can before the restaurant closes for good. So sad. We have enjoyed it over the years. Lily provided excellent service.

I noted on Open Table that it was my husband's birthday. The hostess said, "Whose birthday is it" as we sat down. Other than that, there was no further mention of his birthday. Our server was attentive and our salmon delicious. The server told us about an amazing chocolate cheesecake that was the featured dessert. We ordered that and she soon returned to say that they just sold the last piece. It was only 5:30! The restrooms were filthy and the employees kept slamming the kitchen door into the row of booths where we were sitting. This was jarring.

The food was good, not great. Good atmosphere but we had a terrible waiter, but we noticed that service in Laguna Beach was lacking everywhere we went. What's up with that?

When you ask for small plates to eat your shared appetizers with the table and are told "it might be awhile," maybe you should just get up and leave. Seriously our small plate appetizers had NO other way to be eaten but sharing using small (or even large) plates. The waitress just shrugged her shoulders when I asked her how she recommend we eat without plates. We had to lean over to grab utensils from the next table. No refills on water or anything else..... honestly I'm not sure the service could have been worse. The food was really good.... but don't expect a plate to eat it off of. lol. Wouldn't go back.

I guess I expected better seafood from Laguna. I had the Curry seared Ahi and it was the worst piece of Ahi I have ever seen. It looked like it had been crystallized from freezing and the taste was so bland. My date had the Jambalaya and again bland and looked frozen in the middle. The server just wanted to get out of there. She actually brought the wrong food to the table and set it down. All around bad experience will not be returning.
