Big Fish Grill-Woodinville
Obviously the menu centers on fish, but there are other options, too. The service people were nice and attentive. The food was well prepared and presented. The decor is just so so, nothing special. I can’t quite put my finger on it, but this place just lacks something that would make it special. And it might just be the ambiance/ decor...boring
Birthday celebration... wonderful
Big Fish Grill is always a favorite spot for happy hour or any time. Fun, easy relaxed atmosphere with yummy food.
While I enjoyed the atmosphere alright and the wait staff was cordial and helpful, I found the food to be disappointing. The chowder was acceptable, the bread excellent, but the sauce with the crab-stuffed Rockfish was too rich and overwhelmed the dish. Given the price of the meal, I was disappointed.
Completely enjoyable experience! Enjoyed the Jumbalaya and my wife had a beautiful Cobb salad. Prices were very good and the service was outstanding!
Nice place, good food and excellent service.
great service. food was tasty. Just a little loud
Make sure you order the rib-eye steak medium done, if you want it medium-rare....
Asked to not be seated by a party of 10...
Ryan, our server, was terrific! My daughter and I felt the scallops on the Big Cobb Salad were under cooked. The birthday desserts were great!
Came here for Valentine’s Day and also brought our 5 year old. It was GREAT service, food was excellent.
Oh my gosh! First time at Big Fish. The food was absolutely delicious. My Hubby had Halibut & I had salmon, both ample & yummy.
We will be going back again!
This restaurant never disappoints. We have never had a bad meal here and the service is excellent.
Love the friendly staff. Very welcoming and happy to see you. They remember that you have been in before.
We had a fun birthday party for my husband last weekend. The food was excellent and the waiter was very attentive. Will definitely recommend to friends and will make it a favorite go-to place for dinner.
I love going to the Big Fish for their great fish tacos. The waiters are great too!
Had a great time. We were seated right away. My wife had their Pear Martini. It is the best she has ever had. Our waitress was soooooooo nice and accommodating. We both had the Steak Frites. Delicious and cooked to perfection. The Woodinville Fish is one of our favorite places. Highly recommend the Big Fish.
I think the problem with the service was not the waiter who was actually very good, it was with the staffing. We were told that they were short on kitchen staff which meant that it took quite awhile to get our meals but it was also very obvious they did not have enough staff out front to help either. We waited several minutes before we were even greeted with the line of people looking at each other wondering if there was a hostess working. Our waiter did the very best he could but seemed to be rather busy with all the tables. Chicken sandwich was excellent. Fish (halibut) and chips were so-so. Basically they needed seasoning, even a little salt and pepper, and were rather bland.
I like to go to Big Fish here in Woodinville as it is a nice local restaurant with good food, and good service that you can depend on. If you want a nice place in Woodinville or Kirkland for lunch or dinner you will get a nice meal at Big Fish.
Great food, large selection of regular dishes and specials, great drinks, and great service. One of the best casual seafood restaurants around.
We went here for a seafood dinner and we were not disappointed. It is located in the huge Woodinville shopping mall, so nothing outside to write home about.
The ambiance is open and casual. Our server was friendly and gave the perfect amount of attention. Party of four ordered Pan-Fried Oysters, Halibut Taco, Brie Stuffed Salmon, and a vegetarian burger. Everybody was more than satisfied with their dinner. Prices seemed reasonable and appropriate for what we got. We have surely paid a lot more for less well-cooked food. We all intend to return to try more dishes.
Very poor service and did was cold when it arrived.
Great food. Highly recommended
Food was good and at the higher end of medium price range. Service was extremely slow. For some reason my OpenTable reservation was canceled after we arrived but was corrected when I brought it to their attention. They were very nice to give the birthday girl a free cheese cake. I'd give it another try.
Had a great dinner after tasting mucho wine in Woodinville. Will visit again on our next trip
Excellent service, great food.
We had a very nice Veterans day dinner, the food and service were great!
My husband and I both had seafood salad which were amazing. Overall experience was very nice our server was slacking a little personality.
The clam chowder was very good. This is a good lunch place or a place to have a drink and a snack.
It was just ok, mediocre. Not great, not horrible.
Pretty expensive for a sirloin that was not extra tender but all was perfectly prepared.
First off we Did make the proper time But Big Fish marked us as s No Show.
3 is my wife and I and our 2 year old grandson.
Put us in the back (that’s somewhat understandable )
Service was slow. We checked in at 5:15pm our res. Time
We left at 6:30pm with our main course in to go boxes meaning they had just finished preparing the main course 1 hr and 30 minutes later.
grandson was done.
Food was so so. For $120.00. For 2 and a kids meal
Although the food was good and nicely presented the value of your portion to price was not very good.
Never eaten here before but based on rating, thought it would have better service, ambience and food. Server poor, ignored us, couldn’t get eye care to order a drink or appetizer before our friends arrived. She couldn’t recommend a wine to go with salmon. Reminded me of a fancy Denny’s with the table and booth set up. Won’t be going back.
The service was great a little slow but normal for the crowd not a problem there. The food was not good at all. We had Calamari that was way to salty, Salad had too much vinegar and the Breaded Halibut was dry and had a funny flavor. The Coconut shrimp was over cooked and didn't taste like coconut at all. All in all the only thing that was worth eating was the clam chowder. This was a total waste of $100 and we will not likely ever visit this restaurant again in the future. This is the second time we were there and we were disappointed both times.
Excellent service and excellent food. Very accommodating to special food needs. Highly recommend!
I thought this place was a bit pricey for the quality of the service and food.
The wild salmon Cobb salad and the bowl of clam chowder was excellent
The server kept a respectful distance but was prompt when we indicated
The portions we're perfect and priced in the right range
The presentation was good and not overly dramatic
Definitely a good choice for a business lunch and will go again
Big Fish is a great local restaurant. They do a good job with the food and service and i enjoy going there
Not great food. Many better places around. The jambayla was very soupy and the tacos were a mess to eat.
They used frozen shrimp in the dynamite shrimp appetizer.
Our server was a bit assuming. She didn't really ask our preferences, she assumed. IE: When the check came, she just assumed it was being split 50-50...then made some odd comments about the driver's license..it was just odd.
Paella was great. the Dungeness & bay shrimp salad was disappointing because the bay shrimp were so small. the scallop & prawn fettucine...prawn's were ok, scallops crunched--like there were shells or sand in them. pasta was too peppery.
