While on vacation, and checked this place out online and it very good reviews and a great menu. Boy were we disappointed. We ordered the cran cocktail which was good but it kinda hard to mess up. I ordered clam chowder that had a ton of raw veggies and seasoning it barely tasted like clam chowder. Then my husband ordered the crab cakes and I ordered 2 sushi rolls. When I bit into my first piece of sushi there was a big chunk of plastic wrap stuck in it. That completely turned me off!!!! My husband's crab cakes he said were just ok and certainly not what he expected. We obviously told our server about the plastic and they took back the food. The Manger came and apologized and offered free dessert. We asked for dessert to go and paid our bill then wait another 10 minutes for the to go "free" dessert after this restaurant completely let us down already. If you are a foodie like us and like to go to very nice restaurants when traveling or on vacation Big Fin Seafood is NOT the place to go. The service was good, except how long it took to get dessert but food was tragic! Stay away!

I orders Jumbo Shrimp Pasta and add scallops to my order. Got home and my sick man said there are no scallops. Very disappointed. My salmon was cooked well done and I asked for medium. I really appreciate the young ladies taking my pictures. Our waiter was not that pleasant.
Love the outdoor bar area seating. Server was very service minded and attentive! Whole team did an excellent job making our dining experience memorable!

Waitress was pleasant and attentive. Oysters were good. I had ghe grouper which was good a bit dry though I asked it be made with olive oil as opposed to butter. My wife had the crab cake (mostly crab meat as opposed to filler) and scallop appetizer which was nicely prepared. Reasonably priced

We had a great experience. The wait staff was very attentive and the food was excellent.
We were there on a Tuesday night and had a party of seven sitting outside on the patio. It was well shaded and give us the perfect space to have a nice conversation. Michael was our server and was fantastic. He gave extra special attention with my son who was having a hard time with the menu. All of our food was fabulous and all of the plates were cleaned. Will definitely be back
Bartender was awesome. Servers were ok. You can’t substitute side items; this is not cost effective for those with dietary issues.

Most of the meal for the 6 of us was great, however the ribeye this time was a little tough and disappointing. Have had it before and it was delicious.
Wanted to try a seafood restaurant outside Disney. This was a great choice. Excellent menu choices. Food was well prepared. And service was very good. The wine list was ample with many choices. Will definitely return when in Orlando.

I made a bet with Bae and I lost. As his reward, he got to pick any restaurant of his choice and his victory dinner was on me. He chose Big Fin and I’ve never been happier to lose a bet! Our amazing bartender, Greg, sold us on the snapper meals and he did not steer us wrong. We ordered both snappers (he got the red and I got the yellow) and they were absolutely delicious! Super succulent and perfectly seasoned with curry and Thai flavors. We thoroughly enjoyed the food and the experience Greg created for us. I will definitely be losing more bets just to come back again!

Overall positive on the food. We had a couple of Clam Chowders, a couple of Caesar Salads and a Wedge. Make sure you order the small Caesar unless you want an entre portion. The Wedge was big enough for two and there was no option for a smaller serving. The Crab Cakes were fine but had a little too much filler. The Chilean Sea Bass got rave reviews, our waiter recommended adding the sticky rice, and he was spot-on. You need the rice to enjoy all the shiitake dashi broth. The Whole Fried Snapper was well received but beware that the fish you are eating will be staring at you the entire time. Once again, our waiter cautioned us about that and he was wise to do so. The big winner of the night was Blackened Shrimp and Scallops, served with spinach, mushrooms, sun-dried tomatoes and crawfish, parmesan grits. There was an ample serving of both scallops and shrimp and they were blackened, but mildly, not charred, so you can still enjoy the taste. I don't normally eat grits but these were out of this world. If grits always tasted like this I might become a convert. Another 10 was the Truffle Fries. They came crisp and hot and tasty.
Good food, service felt a little unprofessional. Decor and ambience don't help justify the pricing.

The food was fantastic and fresh. The restaurant is big and the atmosphere exciting. Our waiter had little personality which was minor in relation to the overall experience. We will go back for sure.

This restaurant has all of the appearances of a high-end place; high prices, beautiful dining room, a full wine list. That is where it ends. This is a FAKE HIGH END restaurant. The waiter was uneducated; at least he didn't have enough sense to be a waiter. Hell, he told us at the start that he really wanted to be a welder! Two out of the six of us didn't get the side orders we had ordered, and NOT ONE PERSON APOLOGIZED. Then my "Prime" porterhouse was so full of uncooked fat that is was obviously a bad piece of "choice" beef. To make it worse, I ordered it medium rare and it came out raw. My uncle's lamb came out severely undercooked as well. When my cousin was asked how she wanted her filet cooked, she answered, "I want it cooked the way the cook is most comfortable cooking and serving it. " That didn't fly... he couldn't possibly do that. Most of the other special requests about the food preparations couldn't possibly be done(simple stuff like poaching fish instead of grilling it.) If I were you, I'd go 10 ft. away to Fleming's. That is a real high end restaurant.

The service was excellent. The young lady who tended us was very friendly and answered all our questions to our complete satisfaction. The food was very good and I believed it surpassed our expectations. We look forward to our next visit at which time I'll have the lamb chops.
Everything was great! The all you can eat crab claws (Sunday special) were just ok, and the staff never came by to ask if you wanted more, we had to ask every time for a "refill". Other than that, the drinks, apps, entrees, staff, quality, everything else was really good and we will visit again soon!

Some of the best food I've had in a long time. Service was outstanding and you felt like their best customer even though first time dining there. It's a must have. Remember, great food is not without a price, and I'm going back when back in the area this coming Oct. it's worth it.

Poor service. Bartenders doubled as waiters. Had to ask for water and bread after sitting for 20 mins. Then had to request a refill. After we paid the Bill someone else asked if we wanted to see the dessert menu.. very disjointed and disorganized. Food fair. Expect much more for the price. Was our first time there
Amazing food. Okay service. Made us wait to be seated for 10+ minutes even with a reservation with many open tables in the restaurant.
The food was good but it took about an hour on appetizers and almost two hours to receive entrees after we were seated. It also seemed like they were bothered trying to have to provide a decent table for 6 to accommodate a service dog. The host who seated us seemed very rude then handed us off to someone else to seat us and this was a huge turn off.
