I have orderded starters and mains together, we have got separate, burger order without chips, we have got withs chips and separate salads, plus 2 pounds
One of the worst meals I ever had. The quality of the food was questionable at best, while the prices weren’t representative of what you were getting. I would honestly suggest getting frozen lobster or wings from your corner shop instead of wasting your money there. Having said that, service was fast and polite.
Great food and endless drinks. Great value for a Sunday Brunch.
Really good food and restaurant. But felt a bit rushed out of the establishment where plates were taken off the table with food on them after only sitting down for about 1 hour. When you spend £80 on a lunch you'd expect to not be rushed out.
Opted for the unlimited bbq and prosecco brunch...The food was the best we have had to date and kept coming until we were all totally stuffed. ...The prosecco too was replenished within moments of asking.....The service was outstanding......Thanks all, but especially Davida and Ivana for making our Sunday brunch such a good one....
Hope that they keep up those standards...
Food was great, service was great, everyone was very accommodating and lovely. 😊
Slow service (I think mainly due to the layout of all tables spread around the outside)
Average drinks
Questionable food
Great food, great service, great music - great place!
Everything but the food was good, on this occasion
The quality of the food was poor
Third time coming to Big Easy and noticed a change in service. Had to ask multiple times for drinks, food, missing cutlery and the bill. After waiting for over 25 minutes for the bill to arrive we had to go out and pay up front.
Food still good, hopefully just reopening teething errors.
Was a lovely day to eat outside. Food was good and Prosecco plentiful! Fab
Overall we had a nice time - the service was inconsistent. Lots of waiters/waitresses around however any request (eg for another drink, sauces etc) got lost for about 10/15 mins and sometimes we had to ask again. We had fun though - boozy brunch on the terrace in the sunshine :)
Excellent service levels in my opinion. Good as it gets. Vibrant atmosphere! Fun and enjoyable.
Food wasn’t great but bottomless brunch drinks were good. They left the bottle and jug of frozen mojito so was great. Romona was wonderful and Yasmin. Would do brunch again.
Great experience with el fresco dining. Food and staff were great, highly recommend!
Unfortunately it was cold being outside
But the food was good and the service was also good
Definitely look forward to going back
After May 17
Lobster was a bit bland , service could be a bit better with me having to constantly make awkward eye contact. Ribs could be seasoned a bit more with some sort of BBQ sauce.
Very disappointed.
Opening back up after lockdown, you would have expected Big Easy to have had time to organise some outdoor heating but not a heater in sight.
The young lady that served us did her best but was having to fight off the attention of a group of lads who were intent on getting as drunk, loud and obnoxious as possible. Not the sort of environment for a family meal out.
The food was average at best and not helped by the fact that it didn’t keep warm for long.
I had the platter and the meat was fatty and greasy.
Certainly not worth the £210 including a service charge for poor service.
Why do these places cram you on a tiny table and then serve your food on massive trays. It cramped, uncomfortable and cold.
Worst service I’ve ever experienced. Didn’t get our orders taken and when we finally did, they admitted they hadn’t put the order through. Waited 45 minutes for drinks (which were wrong when they arrived) and even longer for food. When trying to complain, staff ignored us. I asked to take the service charge off the bill and they still charged us.
Bad service, food wasn’t as good as the last time I visited, had to claim money back.
The servers forgot our food and had us waiting for an hour and a half. Thankfully we were served for free to compensate for the long wait.
There could be a few more options for those with allergies
Not the greatest experience and service was very poor.
Excellent service and the food was delicious!!
Great food, shame no live music, but given the circumstances not a problem, but would like to come back when this can happen. Would have liked to have sat at the front of the building, but not a major thing.
They have increased their prices, massive due to the pandemic but the quality of food had really gone down.not as it use to be.
Cold, very poor sevice!
Great to be back out eating again and great first experience after lockdown. Recommend Thursday steak, lobster and half a bottle of wine x
The staff are very friendly but unfortunately the restaurant seems to be understaffed and service is very slow. The ribs were very good but got cold very quickly as there is no heating when sitting outside. Two of the prawns I had weren't fresh.
Nice atmosphere and food was nice. Not enough heaters in the outdoor area though and the service was shocking. Staff were frustrated, confused and inattentive - usually a sign of poor resources and management rather than the frontline staffs fault though. We paid the service charge out of obligation but really it was a bit disappointing to be put in a position where we felt like a burden, refusing food we hadn’t ordered, asking to be refunded an overcharge etc.
Fine overall but I certainly would recommend to anyone coming for an occasion like we were.
Cold food and slow service. Been here loads of times and been great. This time a totally different experience
Great value classic American food! The patio is very windy and cold. My friend and I weren’t fortunate enough to be seated under a heat lamp but the staff were considerate and offered us blankets! Will surely be eating here again.
Don't want to come across nasty or narrow minded, but there's been a long wait for places to reopen - and poor service should just not exist. It wasn't that it was overly business but our server really gave the impression they had somewhere else to be. Not knowing what was available made choosing hard, and having to go and find them to order a round of drinks - feels you're doing them a favour by being there.
food was good and we will return!
Tasty and affordable food. The staff were very friendly.
The staff were extremely nice, the food tasted amazing (I had the lobster) and the portion sizes are big.
Where do I even start?
I put in a request before we arrived to have a table near a heater as we would have a baby with us, confirmed that they will honor my request. Arrive and get told “oh we see you put in a request, but there’s no table available by a heater”. What’s the point in pre-requesting then? Get put on a table right next to the escalators, which had no vibe at all, at was in a direct draft so it was freezing! We requested to be moved once another table opened up, people came and went and we were never moved.
We then placed our food orders. Food came really quickly, bar one person’s. They got the order wrong to begin with, then took forever to bring the right order. So long that when the rest of the table had already finished eating, the person missing their food walked inside to go and find out what was going on (this after we had asked our waiter about 5 times regarding the missing food), she then requested to speak to the manager who said, “I’m too busy to talk to her now”. Eventually her food came. The food was tasty, but the lack of caring that was received with the manager combined with the incompetent kitchen, left a sour taste.
Our waiter (who was great throughout) did try his best to rectify the situation and did remove her meal from the bill which we appreciated, but it was all enough to ensure that we will not be returning.
Such a pity as it has such potential.
Very good burger and lobster. Also a lot of nice draft beer.
The food was brilliant and the majority of the wait staff were efficient and friendly
We attended big easy for a birthday and were placed on a table
Without heaters, we asked if we could get a table with heaters on after waiting for approx 30 mins we were moved. After being re-seated we then had to wait another 30 minutes before we had to ask about being served. Once we were served we asked all food to come out together but this did not happen and we ended up accepting the dishes that did not arrive.
The food was okay, it has been better and although the staff were lovely we were not impressed with it over all.
The only reason 5 stars was not granted was because some staff had their masks under their noses. This is a high anxiety point for me, otherwise everything was great!
Heaters weren’t working outside.
Shouldn’t of been taking bookings.
Food very average.
