Big Chow Grill
There was 4 of us to celebrate my son’s birthday for dinner. The music was loud, we found it hard to have a conversation. The mens bathroom was dirty, no paper towels, paper towel dispense tore off wall, toilets looked as they had not been cleaned in weeks. In general, the restaurant was unkept with trash on the floor. On a positive, the food and service was good.
My family and I really enjoyed the food and the service. It was several of things to choose from and the atmosphere was awesome!!
Reservations, made 4 weeks prior and confirmed the night before, were not honored.
Came to this place on Saturday with friends then returned the next day for more! The food is amazing and the restaurant staff is super friendly!
Excellent Food for the Price and the service was outstanding even thought they had only 3 waitress on duty.
COVID ruined. Having them build your bowl according to a sheet doesn't work. Not enough meat, not enough vegetables, too many noodles. Tasteless. 6 out of 6 at our table pushed back from half empty bowls, even after extra sauce was added. Very disappointed for a birthday dinner... we left and used the calories at Marietta Diner.
Our waitress/Terri was nice and accommodating. Service was swift and all the orders were spot on and delicious.
I’ve been dining with Big Chow grill since their first restaurant opened as ChowBaby, over 20 years ago. It’s irritating to wait 30minutes for seating, wait 40 minutes for food, wait 30 minutes for an additional bowl of food, wait an additional 25 minutes to pay for our food, and then have to pay for parking because the service was so slow that we went over the 2 hour limit! The manager says that there is nothing to do about parking because of the braves game but didn’t want to acknowledge that she can do something about the service being slow!!! I will not take the hour and half drive to return to Big Chow Grill unfortunately :/
I love the new concept. Great food and the drink I ordered from the bar was very well made. Martini- Lemon drop
We went for Father’s Day lunch. The food was delicious but upon leaving went to the men’s restroom and it was was very dirty and did not have any hand soap! Yuck!
I needed more sauce to get a true coconut curry taste but it was very well cooked and delicious. The servers were awesome!
The Big Chow was a great experience. The food was great and the service was fast and efficient
It's different. Seasoning was off and not the same as when you do it yourself.
Everything was good for a first time visit. I would suggest it to other friends
Service was terrible - waiter forgot what we ordered twice. Ordered appetizers never received them. Food took extra long.
The food was good. The service was slow they brought the food out slowly to the table and forgot about one of my kids plate.
A favored restaurant practicing proper Covid restrictions and a good time was had by the 5 of us. The service was very good. Actually, everything was very good. The only negative I experienced was me, and only me, not being able to find anything to whet my appetite and leaving still hungry, despite the comprehensive menu. The initial portions are quite substantial, with only one of us ordering more, and everyone left quite satisfied. Still a favorite special-occasion place for us.
The food was deliciously amazing!!! Can’t wait to go back!!
They was very under staff, slow, and over work. They customers service was terrible and it took over a hour to place our order. We only was able to eat one bowl and not able to eat all you can. By the time we received our food it was 30 minutes later and we have to pay for parking. When you get two hours of complaining free. This was a terrible birthday dinner.
Perfect covid solution. Delicious and all you can eat, plus safe. Loved it!
It used to be a great experience prior to COVID.
However, the lack of self service defeats the purpose of the create your own.
There's no control of how much or how little you want, despite the "double check mark" option. It just loses its touch.
Additionally, the service was lackluster. Sure, there was a large party as opposed to just my dinner of two, but, the wait time for my fiancèe's food was horrible. It got mixed up with the large party, as we were told.
Lastly, the food combinations that we picked were not executed, as initially stated.
We weren’t charged if that tells you anything. Just not good. Everything is too something... too salty, too sweet, to cold, toooo gross.
Great restaurant! The bathrooms could use a little more attention but love it besides that.
The hours were wrong online and on their door so we arrived on time to a closed restaurant. We practically had to beg to get inside to place a last minute to go order. Not only were they dismissive of our business but they were out of the items we desired. This was a much different experience from the lunch meeting where I discovered this place and won’t likely be coming back for dinner anytime soon.
The food was fantastic. All of the vegetables were fresh and cooked to perfection. The sauces marinated beautifully with everything. And I did not really have to add any seasoning. I came all the way from Covington, Ga but I will definitely be back and bring a few friends with me too!
Our waitress was amazing! She was patient and explained the menu to us superbly!
Both ladies and men’s restrooms were dirty. We were not seated in the bar but the bartender was our waiter. Definitely made it harder to get things or get his attention. Not sure if this is b/c they are short staffed due to COVID or it this is normal. Food was delicious! Just wished the service was better and cleaner.
The food was reasonably price and very satisfying. My spirit was on the warm side though. I was completely satisfied with my first visit at Big Chow Grill.
Food was bland and seasonless, waiter acted if she didn’t care to be there.
There is something for everyone. Always enjoy Big Chow Grill.
Great food and service was pretty good. However, I was disappointed they ran out of hand sanitizer with the spread of Coronavirus. Love the fresh food option!
Ingredients on the assembly line were of satisfactory quality. The bill for the amount we ate was very reasonable. The youngsters in our group liked the unique format and freedom to create.
Those are the pluses.
The restaurant is spartan. Table tops sticky. Service personnel eager to do the minimum and go back to chatting. Ambiance a negative. Recommended only based on pigging out and pleasing the youngsters.
Nice restaurant food was good waitress was friendly but there was an annoying knat flying around the table which is why I took off a star but overall great deal for price
Another great experience! I wish I could eat 2 bowls. I struggle to get through one, it’s sooooo good!
Food was Good 😊😊
Food came out burned. Have been to other restaurants with similar food preparation, never have I had food burned. Food was very greasy. Can not recommend this restaurant.
We had a very kind server. Didn’t catch her name. She has beautiful rich dark skin and is slim. She seated us exactly where I noted in my reservation. They didn’t have ginger ale but she and the bar staff mixed together a tasty concoction that was delicious. We sat there too long but she didn’t throw us out. She was super nice and asked us to come again. We certainly will and will make sure she is tipped well. Such a great time. Great food! My 9th visit to this location since 2014. Always hits the spot. So good!
Concept is cool. Food was great. Little on the expensive side for our family of five. Our kids didn’t eat enough to justify the price we paid for them.
