We love the varied menu at Big Bowl. One of the items was spicier than we expected (Pad Thai) even though it didn't have the spicy pepper sign. We received a dinner that wasn't ours and were charged for it, but the server immediately corrected the error when we pointed it out to him. The desserts were delicious but small and expensive. This is definitely a great place to celebrate a special occasion but I would not go there on a regular basis due to the expense of the meal (about $45 per person for a meal for 5 people, 1 appetizer, 4 non-alcoholic drinks, and 4 desserts).

The Big Bowl in Lincolnshire shares parking with a Wildfire next door. It’s near impossible to find parking. Be prepared to walk a few blocks. The restaurant is warm and welcoming. The staff is very friendly and courteous. Our waiter was kind, attentive and knowledgeable about the menu. The food is a bit too salty. They could do with a bit less soy sauce. Overall a good family dining experience.

Have to wait very long time for our waiter, no water was offered or served ( were served at other tables) no additional drinks or dessert was offered, just horrible service. At the end, received a message from Open Table, that we didn’t attended our reservation. Well, I guess that I need to call my CC and dispute the charge from the restaurant if I didn’t attend? How unprofessional

I realize that Saturday night is very busy but it felt rushed with minimal interaction. We didn’t even know who our server was since they never introduced themselves. Someone dropped off menus and then someone else came by to take our orders. No follow up after our food was served and we had to ask someone for our check.
