the appetizers (pot stickers and lettuce wraps) were great...the main courses, not so much. The Kung Pao chicken was average, the Pad Thai didn't taste like Pad Thai (too much vinegar and citrus). The only good tasting dish was the Mongolian Beef (I'd order that again). Overall, though, a disappointment.

I remember Big Bowl when it was first located up on Cedar and Rush 20+ years ago. Much better dining experience then. Felt rushed, tightly packed, noisy and more fast-food now than years ago. Food quality was still decent, its just the ambience and locational differences that changed. I am 20 years older too, and more discriminating than when younger.

Our server was excellent—on top of everything — brought us warm wipes after eating a messy chicken wrap appetizer for example.

My Husband and I came for his birthday meal. We were overwhelmed with the great service and the food. Everything tasted amazing and they gave him a free dessert for his birthday. We loved it and will be back!

I always enjoy a nice bowl of Pho to share with the table and the vegetable springs rolls never disappoint. Quick friendly service and attentive servers. Great place to enjoy a meal with friends without breaking the bank.

Three of us had dined in during the lunch hour. There were a decent amount of tables that were sat, but the restaurant was not super busy. I unfortunately do not remember the name of our server, but once we stated that we needed a little more time to look over the menu, we felt ignored. When we finally ordered our food, I had asked for a different kind of rice. After waiting about 15 minutes, the wrong dish had come out. Very disappointing lunch..

We dined at Big Bowl before seeing Beautiful the musical. It was a perfect meal. The King Pao Beef was fabulous as was the Mongolian Beef. We finished with flourless chocolate cake and apple crisp egg rolls for dessert. What a way to start the evening!

Im a big fan of Big Bowl. People can say it's "commercial" or whatever, but their food is fresh, vibrant and what seems high quality to me. I've never had a bad meal here. Thai Hot Pepper with Chow Fun noodles is my favorite dish. We also love the chicken pot stickers. Decent Sangria too. Good food, pretty good service and a good location. I'll be back (over and over)!

Discovered this place near our hotel on a trip to Chicago. Menu includes a variety of Thai/Asian dishes or create-your-own stir fry. Having celiac disease, I was especially pleased that so many of the sauce choices were gluten free, and they had gluten free soy sauce for the table as well. Portions were huge--I could only eat half of mine and took away the rest. Wait staff was friendly and helpful without intruding.

We have one son who is vegan, so we often choose Asian restaurants, and we have been to Big Bowl in the past. The food was decent, but the restaurant looks quite run down, and frankly, not very clean. We will not be back.

We had a large group, and tried their fixed price menu....pick three from each column, sort of.
The portions were extremely generous, and the food was fresh, well prepared and very tasty.
This is also an extremely friendly restaurant, and the entire experience is just....fun!
