Food and service fantastic. It was quite loud and we were very close to the people next to us.
Usually one of our favorite spots. Always get the chicken pad Thai...so good. This time I asked them to go light on the sprouts. My meal had more sprouts than usual! When I brought this to the attention of the server, all I got was "I requested light on the sprouts". How about I'm sorry? Or...What can I do for you? The manager did come over and apologize, but it would have been nice to hear it from our server.
Excellent meals. Loved the cashew chicken. A little noisy for a romantic conversation.
Stopped in while shopping, for a snack. Chicken-peanut egg rolls were fabulous, especially the mustard sauce! Wonton soup was only fair—barely lukewarm and little flavor.
The ladies restroom and hallway were way overdue for cleaning. Odd, given that we were there at noon.
Service was very good - prompt and responsive. Food was quite tasty. Noise level relatively high, but OK for conversation. One of our favorite go- to for weeknight dinner NH or take out
The yellow curry was excellent, and the chicken potstickers are a must!
Food is not as good as it used to be. Pad Thai was one of my favorites. Now it is way too sweet. Barely any chicken, sprouts, peanuts or scallions.
Food was not very hot, again this time. Same as before - not sure if it is sitting too long before served or what. Flavors and portion size good - just not hot. Finally made it to Kona Grill, and all three times it has been piping hot....
Overall quite happy. Good food. Just kinda pricey.
Overall great time with my son. The food was great and the service was excellent!!
I had the cashew chicken which as indicated on the menu was supposed to be spicy. The dish was spicy. However I found the heat to really overpower the dish. Therefore I would not order this dish again.
Delicious meals. My husband had the green curry. I went to the select your own bar. Great service from Brian.
I ordered the Chicken Lo Mein for the first time, and it was quite good!
I have tried the Lo Mein at Big Bowl Express and was very disappointed, but a friend recommended it at the restaurant, and I’m glad I tried it.
We come here fairly often, and the food and service are always good.
It was a very busy day at Big Bowl. attentive server. A little crowded seating though.
Friendly staff. Nice sized portions and lots of flavor. Try the cauliflower rice as a substitute! Meals came quick and as ordered. Staff also were great at drink refills without being prompted.
Pretty good tonight! Very much improved from our previous 2 visits.
Excellent food and service, as always!
Foods always good!
What a great night! We had a wonderful server, tons of delicious plant-based options to choose from which we LOVED, especially the new cauliflower rice!! We celebrated our daughter’s 18th birthday and she loved her complimentary dessert. Thanks Big Bowl! 😍
Big Bowl is a favorite for my family, we all can find exactly what we want and love to try anything new on the menu. The only thing that I might add is that the appetizers could be just a bit bigger so a family of four adults have enough to go around. But all in all we all love Big Bowl.
Good was good, a little spicy but very good flavor. And service was on point and timely.
Another great meal! Big Bowl has the best Pad Thai in town. Will be back soon!
Food was not as piping hot as it usually is, but still tasty.
Food is always ok to good. Expected quality for price and type of restaurant.
Food could be sooooo much better if they used about 1/2 of the salt
Drinks - really love the homemade ginger ale - love the taste - how about 1/4 the sugar?
Great food, good service, but very crowded and noisy.
Had a great lunch! Stir Fry was fresh and delicious and served very quickly. Our server was friendly, attentive, and managed to stay on top of things even though she was very busy. Will definitely return!
Love love love Big Bowl!! Fantastic gluten free options. They offer an amazing bday dessert, which is gf as well. A huge favorite!
We were hoping for a little more since it was the Chinese New Year last weekend.
Had a wonderful meal before the movies. The restaurant was very accommodating to my food allergies and the food came out quickly and was delicious! Would definitely recommend ordering the ginger ale if you like real ginger.
Overall good experience. I will be returning.
I can always depend on Big Bowl to deliver as expected in food, drink, and service. This is my Twin Cities favorite for Thai cuisine.
Waited 15min longer than we were told. Everything else was great though.
Always good food-- healthy options! Service was excellent!
Service was top-notch. Server was great about drink refills and was checking on us constantly. Food was served fresh and tasty except for the cauliflower rice, which was only luke warm and not very 'rice-like'. We made a mention about this at the end of the meal and were treated to free dessert. They definitely took care of us!
Great lunch menu, love the Panang Curry Chicken and being able to sub cauliflower rice was perfect. The ginger mint tea is also a favorite.
Outstanding service! The wait staff was attentive, refreshing drinks as soon as they were low. We really appreciated this as we were hot after a long day's work. Any passing waiter would silently collect dirty dishes as soon as they appeared. The food is superb -- I had the Thai hot pepper chicken, the vegetables were nice and fresh -- and everyone enjoyed their meals.
The food was unusually outstanding. Everything was piping hot and delicious. Waitress was very good. I was a little put off by one of the staff at the front desk. We arrived earlier than expected, there were very few people around the desk though the restaurant was busy. I checked in and was brusquely told that she would call my cell when a table opened up. Perhaps it was her manner more than her words. It just felt like I was being pushed off to the to wait. Not sure what the intention was, but it felt negative.
I went to Big Bowl with my parents and had vegetarian summer rolls, they both had chicken pad thai, I made my own vegetarian stir fry mix. They mixed a lot of noodles with the veggies and said they were going to keep them separated. Made my dish twice, but wasn't as good as my parents' meals.
I liked the spring rolls/summer rolls - the stir fry was okay.
I made a reservation to dine at Big Bowl. We love the organic food and generally have had good experiences. On this recent Sunday, they decided to "close early" after we just ordered dinner at 6:30. They began tearing down the restaurant at 7:00 - they close at 9:00. The waiter did not allow us dessert or a second drink. He just said it was "too dead" to stay open. We barely finished eating ... We were not the only customers, and they were tapping toes to get us to leave. They did not offer us a discount for our limited dining experience - we were expected to pay full price despite the imposed limitations on what we paid for.... this includes not only the food, but service, atmosphere, and comfort. They robbed us of half of our dining pleasure pushing us out, but we paid in full! I am disgusted by the loss of time with my dear friends (finding somewhere else to go is nuts if one is not a bar fan) and disgusted by the get out mentality of this restaurant. Open means open. Do not start stacking chairs around my head. Do not stand in a group and stare. My warning, do not count on this place to put you first!
Good service, good food. Lots of fresh veggies. Brought out little cucumber salad for free since it was our first time there, nice touch.
