Only at Bibi’s Burger Bar can you enjoy the Parmigiana burger, a twist on classic chicken parmesan. The parmesan and breadcrumb crusted patty topped with house made marinara, fresh mozzarella cheese, and an onion ring satisfies even the largest appetite.
Pair any of our burgers with a locally crafted microbrew. From Pilsners to IPA’s we have a great selection of local favorites.
Has the bloom left this once wonderful restaurant? The burger was bla (a burger in a burger bar should be an experience, an treat for the taste buds, a thing to talk about and steel about), the tots tasty but nearly warm. Requested to dine al fresco, which they have wonderful outdoor seating area & requested with my reservation, only to be told that it was an inconvenience to open the doors. What was once a gem, a diamond, now a piece of coal. The young lady that was our server, was the only redemption of the evening.
Good service. Great shakes. Greeter did not understand that I needed to check in with my open table reservation. Overall a good experience.
I was really looking forward to going here because I had heard so many good things about it. Maybe I caught them on an off day, but the burger was just okay. Milkshake was good. My friend's salad was just okay. It might be worth giving it the benefit of a doubt and trying again, but I've had better burgers in Santa Rosa area.
Made a last minute reservation for graduation dinner. Hostess was very accommodating. Our server was excellent. Wish more burger patty options: turkey burger for example. Also decor was more diner like than i thought. Overall a good casual eatery
Great food! Lots of imaginative ways to do burgers. They must have been short staffed in the kitchen the night we went because it wasn't that busy (early) and it took a LONG time to get our order. But the service was otherwise attentive and again, the burgers and sweet potato fries are excellent!
Awesome. Service was good, food and drinks excellent. Location is fun to watch people walk by. Conveniently located in downtown santa rosa within walking distance of parking, movies, square, bookstore. Easy to find and very friendly casual.
We arrived on time and were seated promptly. We ordered 2 glasses of Cabernet Sauvignon. They were delivered in short order, however, after one sip, we realized that the wine had turned to the dark side. We eventually got our wait person and told her that it was bad and wanted to change to cocktails. She told us that the wine came from a cask and she didn't understand how the wine had turned bad. She said that she would bring the cocktails but that we would have to pay for them. We told her that that was a given. Drinks were good, however, we had to wait 30 min. to get them. Our food came 2 minutes after that. Not good.
Outstanding classic burger. Pleasant and fun server. Easy parking
If you want a no frills basic burger experience that's a notch above the typical joint, you should like this place. Also a good place for a quick bite when you are in transit to somewhere else downtown.
Great fast service. Friendly staff. Great food. Burger was cooked perfect!
Service was slow and the burgers were merely "OK".
Perhaps my standards are too high, but I eat out a lot and have great expectations from the restaurants I choose to dine at.
Our server was extremely friendly, but the kitchen was slow. We waited over 30 minutes for our burgers.
We both ordered the steamed cheeseburger & they were amazing!!! My husband ordered it with the onion rings & they were...okay. BUT...I ordered it with the Truffle Fries & they were AMAZING...as was the burger! We will definitely be here again!
They have excellent burgers, they are always cooked the way you like them, if you say medium rare, they come out medium rare and not like most places that ask you then cook them well done. The onion rings are incredible and sweet potato fries. Milk shakes are great, I see al ot of children getting them. They have great wings as well.
tasty and generous portions, sports TV fun went for celebration dinner
Burger was cooked perfectly. Service was friendly and prompt. Lighting outside is poor (all or nothing) but I understand that they are actively addressing the issue. Would recommend to friends and family.
Good burgers, French fries and onion rings the bomb.. Service not so good .. Saw other people being served even though we were there way before....waitress very friendly..
The waitress forgot my order, I had to wait until my husband finished his meal before mine came.
over the top good!
Cocktails were excellent. Caesar's salad was one of the best I've ever had. Chicken soup was incredible - not what you expected. Asian-style. Big mushrooms, rice noodles, spinach. Highly recommend.
Food was good, nothing special but we got what we went for.
However the service could be improved. I thought maybe being a newer restaurant they were still working got the kinks...I hope! Wishing the new restaurant success.
Good burger not special. Limited seating upstairs not available.
It's a very nice indoor/outdoor experience although that promotes the noise level being quite high. Service was consistent and the burgers were wonderful and large. Loved that you could substitute tater tots, for fries, and they were crispy, yum!
Went with some trepidation as I'd heard some bad reviews regarding service and food but decided to give it a try with 3 generations of us. First, the service, which had been derided as poor and a carry-over from Flipsides bad service, turned out to be quite good. It was timely and caring if not totally knowledgeable. The cocktails, mine was a dry martini, were very good but on the skimpy side although priced accordingly. The booths for six by the front windows are not up against the window but spaced an aisle width away. Handy for access but not cozy.
Everyone enjoyed their food. Mine was the Cabernet Burger with Truffle fries. Would definitely have it again. We went on a Sunday early evening so the reasonable noise level and service may have been attributable to it not being overly busy. Give it a try.
My wife and I were extremely disappointed in our first trip to Bibi's last weekend. We arrived a few minutes early for our 6:15pm reservation. About half the tables were empty, so I wouldn't characterize the place as busy by any stretch of the imagination. We waited over 15 minutes from the time we were seated by the hostess, and none of the servers came to our booth - not even to say they were busy and would be by in a few minutes to take our order. No eye contact, no acknowledgement, nothing. When we noticed wait staff helping other patrons who had arrived and been seated after our own arrival, we left and went next door to 3rd Street Ale Works where we received great, efficient service and a yummy meal (and they were much busier than Bibi's - and we didn't need a reservation - and we enjoyed their home-brewed beer). We gave the food at Bibi's a single star in this review, but to be fair we shouldn't have given it any stars since Bibi's didn't give us any food.
The four of us were seated in the very back of the restaurant. The service was very poor and the food was good, not great. The dinning tables we sat at were too close together, therefore not enough space to get in/out or around the table. The legs on the tables were strange angles and we all bumped our own knees on them. Very noisy moving tables & chairs around!
We had a coupon from the local newspaper and the waiter wasn't sure what to do with it. He checked to find out that we received half off an appetizer with a middle order.
We were not impressed and not sure if we will return.
We walked over to celebrate a birthday. The service was friendly and accurate. We were seated right away and the food was good! The hardest part was deciding which of the numerous burgers to order. My wife got the Thai burger since she is avoiding dairy currently and it was quite good. The others all enjoyed various burgers and no one was disappointed. The milkshake was decent, but not what I would have expected for the price. Overall it was a fun time and I would recommend eating here if you're in the mood for a burger and fries!
We went to Bibi's for a burger after a social event. We ordered 1 beer which took over 25 minutes to be acknowledged as "late" (later comped) and the food took over 50 minutes to appear. The food was good the brew was cold, but there seemed to be a lot of glitches and hold ups. I hope they work out their issues with the kitchen and bar as this was a good burger and brew and a reasonable deal. Will check back again in another 6 months...
Early dinner, warm nite, outside - great food & service!
I wouldn't make a special trip, but if you find yourself in Santa Rosa and want a burger this is a decent option. The food is not very special. The place has recently opened and it was pretty smooth but long wait probably caused by only one cook in the kitchen. Menu does not have a basic burger option as they want you to order a more "creative" burger so tends to be pricey. Nice people, good service, nice patio so you can eat outside.
