Bhojanic serves authentic North Indian cuisine. The dining area provides a large, open and modern space to enjoy a delicious - and spicy - meal with family and friends. Although the restaurant may look and feel modern, the recipes and techniques that Bhojanic uses to prepare its home-style dishes have been handed down over the last four generations.
The menu options at Bhojanic include lighter versions of traditional Punjabi cuisine using less butter and cream. There are plenty of light, vegan and gluten-free options for everyone to try. Dig into the dishes from this award-winning restaurant and experience the mouthwatering, intense flavors of North India for yourself.
We went there for the 1st time and it was great. Use scoutmob and we got an amzing deal for the quality
get the paani puri and a thali plate so you can try a little of everything. I've eaten here quite a few times and tried just about everything and they're all great. For a quick lunch, get the chicken khadi wrap!
Both locations have been part of the ATL food scene for years, and rightfully so. Their staff carry the "warning" that their food has flavor - and they're right. Expertly created traditional and newer Indian dishes abound here, as well as a good selection of Indian beers and other drinks. While not the broadest menu of Indian dishes in town, everything they have is done exceptionally well. If you're looking for an outstanding Indian food in ATL, you'd have a hard time going wrong here.
We were so excited about this restaurant. Got there to find it was brightly lite, no table cloths, waitstaff got so helpful with menu. Disappointed! They did have live music
We eat here often, but this was an interesting dining experience as during dinner there was a thunderstorm which turned into a hail storm with hail the size of golf balls! The staff took this in stride. They brought in more candles, small lanterns and other devices. The staff quickly moved around the room to seek anyone wanting food orders as some things would become unavailable due to the power outage in the kitchen. The bar also continued to serve, the only issue became that they had to do hand written itemized checks and recording your credit card the old fashioned paper way! It made for a fun evening at a cool place!
So great!!!! Great service and felt so authentic. Nice and quiet - great environment to enjoy :)
Been to this restaurant many times (always crowded, good service and great food). This time (a Monday) there were only a few other tables. The service was not efficient. They were out of every beer we requested. Finally they said we'll give you free beers if we can find one you like. The food was good but not great. Overall a disappointment.
We walked into a beautiful restaurant with gorgeous artwork and were allowed to choose our table. We then ordered an appetizer ~ mixed pakora ~ and a mango lassi. The pakora was the best we've ever had (and we eat Indian out a lot), and the lassi was definitely yogurt-y but not very mango-y. We then ordered the bhel puri and the 3 vegetarian dish thali ~ all of which was delicious. We got a nice sampling and paid only $38 for 3 people. Not bad for great Indian food with a comfortable fancy atmosphere!
Our server was awkward, inefficient, stressed, and quite bossy. The food was good, but certain items were almost unbearably salty.
Our first time at Bhojanic, and we are hooked. The food was excellent, and our server was quite helpful in navigating the menu (for those who are not familiar with traditional Indian dishes). Service was prompt even on a hectic Valentine's evening!
The food has so much flavor, we didn't want to stop eating. Even the rice was tasty. The atmosphere was nice. Not too cramped or noisy when we were there, but would likely be noisy when crowded.
I always enjoy eating here. The food is outstanding, especially the Samosas. Best I've ever!
Our several tapas were great, as always. A tip -- always check the daily vegetable and dal specials. The meats are generally only available with thalis, but you can order a 1/2 or full size of the daily vegetables.
Food was a little spicy. Our kids didn't eat properly. There was little paneer in so-called Saag-Paneer (1 or 2 pieces). No salad included on the thali.
I don't mind driving 35 minutes for Bhojanic. It never disappoints. Great food and alcohol selection.
Bhojanic has been part of our Christmas Day tradition for many years. Excellent food. Never again. We had reservations but they couldn't figure out who's table we were seated at so we sat unnoticed for quite a while. Nothing. Not even water. Their reservations clearly state your reservation is only for two hours so we joked we'd get kicked out before getting anything to eat or drink. We finally got someone's attention and ordered drinks and three tapas, nan and a main course for the two of us to which we were asked if we would be ordering anything else or if that was it. Huh? Can we decide later? We waited for our drinks. And waited. Asked politely. And waited. Finally got them immediately followed by the food. The owner (presumably) came by at one point and asked if she could take the empty plates away but then said "Oh, you're still working on them." No. They were clearly empty plates. We got our entree but without the sides. Had to ask again for them. As we were finishing our meal the server took the only plate with food on it and plied a few empty plates on top and asked if we were finished with the remaining empty plates. Wow. Perhaps it was that they were busy or they were short-staffed on Christmas Day (we overheard the owner tell some of her friends it was "Crazy!" as she pulled up a chair and drink to join them at their table) but we won't be going back to Bhojanic again. Too bad. The food really is excellent.
We have been fans of Bhojanic for years. We started going to see the music on Thursday nights and now go about once a week for a family meal. My two daughters love to try anything new that shows up on the menu. We love the attitude........Food with Flavor !!
This is my favorite Indian restaurant in the US! I live hat they change he menu daily best on what is the freshest. A great example of focusing on a limited, but high quality number of dishes instead of the Chinese menu but lower quality choices .
The service was exceptional and the waiter took time to thoroughly explain the menu since it was our first time. Excellent food, ambiance and service.
Excellent! Brought a friend visiting from Germany. Her mom and her brother were with her. Her mom has hearing difficulties and there was no problem! The food was better than my friend had even suspected!
My wife and I really enjoyed our 1st time dining here. Our wator was wonderful, recommend great staters and entrees. One of the best northern indian food we have tasted.
We had a nice birthday dinner at Bhojanic, but the food was so-so. We've always loved it, so not sure what's happened. We also live further away now, so not sure whether or not we'll return.
Great food and great service! This was our first time trying Indian cuisine in Atlanta and we will be back soon! We loved the casual cozy atmosphere and the friendly staff. Great experience!
We went on a week night and were pleased with the food. The crowd was a mix of groups and some adult family members. Authentic food with great service all around. The live music was bonus.
Service was excellent and food was very tasty. I would go back.
Love the thalis, the cabbage choice is amazing, very filling! Love the aloo tiki too! For dessert you need to try the Ras malai
As in the past, the food was great. Portions were appropriate (we took three boxes home). Only downside was the tables were a bit cramped (my wife had to go three-quarters of the way around our table, as the table next to us seemed over-crowded).
Would definitely go back again.
We went to hear the jazz band and the food and atmosphere and service were a good bonus. It was a great evening out and the music was perfect for the evening and the space! Loved it all!
As I was finishing my meal, I could only think about how this restaurant's cuisine is pretty much the tastiest and most flavorful I've ever enjoyed.
Awesome every time. Thank you Bhojanic.
Excellent Tapas. Excellent service, though they could have used a bartender that could make the drinks on the menu.
Love the food. The flavors have such depth, and the dishes have spice, but are not too hot for the average person (like me).
We love Bhojanic! The variety if tapas and choices for the thalis is great. Food is flavorful, and if you like food with a kick, they will certainly add a "kick" in here. The atmosphere is very nice for an ethnic restaurant.
There was a live jazz band there. My guests enjoyed the food and the ambiance. It was perfect! The servers are great and friendly too. Chicken Tika Masala was great with Naan.
We love this restaurant but our recent visits have left us wondering if the Bhojanic energy is going flat. The service is still good but not great, the food is still great but not quite up to its usual superlative taste, the tables and chairs are worn, and some of our favorite food and drink options have disappeared from the menu. The bar service was exceptionally slow. We wish the joy would come back!
great pani puri, cold kingfisher beer, chicken curry was perfect.
We went to Bhojanic for my wife's birthday. It was a fantastic choice. We were seated right away and drink orders were taken quickly. Our waitress took her time with us and explained thedrink menu as most of the drinks are specific to the restaurant. We were happy with her suggestions and really enjoyed the drinks. My favorite was the spring equinox. It was our first time there so she went over the menu and helped us decide if we had to much food as we kept ordering because everything looked and sounded so good. Dinner don't disappoint. It was delicious!! My wife even got a free dessert for her birthday. It was a fantastic night and I definetly recommend this restaurant.
Went here with a friend from India and he agreed that food was delicious, expensive but very good. But then again he's from India and not used to American prices. He also said the décor was not Indian at all, although I thought it looked Indian, but I'm not the expert! But at least we agreed on the food. I would recommend the roasted eggplant appetizer and the lamb thalis.
The worst of my comment is that I didn't like the tap water. It tasted funny so I ended up ordering bottled water.
We come to Bhojanic regularly. This time we brought friends and tried a set of tapas and there were great. Tasty, good sizes and fun. We generally find thali selections on a hotter side than tapas here. Our child enjoyed the tapas too but not his child meal which was somewhat spicy. The meal was very enjoyable.
We had a great experience at Bhojanic, as usual. The service was outstanding and the food was delicious. I love both location but this one is a bit more "low key" since it's not in Buckhead. We will definitely be back.
My husband and I have been to this restaurant many times and always enjoyed the food. After not going for about 6 months, we went back because we had a coupon deal and were disappointed to find that the food was not nearly as good as it has been. Our appetizer and Thalis arrived cold and did not look like they had been freshly cooked. Our drinks (lassis) were quite good. The service was also excellent. I hope we just experienced an off-night and that this doesn't signal a change in quality from a restaurant we used to love.
