Always love BG. This visit was to celebrate my birthday, so treated myself to the lobster salad for the first time and it was outstanding. Our waiter provided the best service I've had just about anywhere...service is an art and the young man who waited on us has perfected it! My only regret was not getting his name, I would ask to be at his station in a heartbeat. Lovely lunch!

I’ve been eating at BG for 40 years. Both in what was the Cafe on 5 and then when it moved to the Cosmetics floor and always on the 7th floor. My go to dish is usually the Gotham salad. I actually was the one in the 80’s who asked the restaurant to chop the salad which they used to serve in chopped. But the restaurant on 7 should bring back the choices of bread they used to have And it should be dog friendly

Absolutely beautiful! The place is spectacular! I did the tea lunch before going to a broadway show. I enjoyed every minute of this experience. The service was excellent from the Hosts to the server. The view of Central Park was like a dream. The room is just gorgeous. The server was attentive and friendly. The food and tea were excellent. I highly recommend and will be going back again soon.

Food For Thought- I always order the spinach with mushrooms. I don't like when the mushrooms over flowed on top of my spinach. I was really disappointed, I hope this does not happen to me again in the future. Overall, I definitely enjoyed the jumbo shrimp cocktail and the vodka and cranberry juice. Shoutout to my waitress Corrina...she is the BEST!

Love the restaurant @bergies. The food is usually amazing. This time I ordered one of the dishes I usually order--deviled eggs--hard to mess those up and yet they did. It tasted incredibly bland. I also ordered the roasted chicken. It was undercooked. They must have changed chefs?! So I was surprised and disappointed. The coffee was great. I will go back again and maybe try something different next time.

I used to love this spot for a break from Central Park & Upper East Side. One of my favorites to visit every time I come to New York. The service is always kind and friendly, mostly not pretentious. This visit was a bit underwhelming and I found overpriced for what we got. The plates were small and prices large. It may be my last visit.
