We were visiting for Christmas and anniversary trip and made reswervations for lunch. I ordered the chicken salad sandwhich. My sandwhich had a large chicken bone in it and the chips were pathetic resembling crumbs from bottom of bag. You should offer choices for the bread and toasted/untoasted for the sandwhich. We will never go again.

High tea at Bergdorf’s — what could be better? We thoroughly enjoyed our tea service & treats. The scones were our favorite and we could have done without the truffle chicken sandwiches. The smell of the truffle oil fought with all the other goodness on the plate! Scott our server was fabulous & we appreciate his attention to detail!

Booked high tea. Very crowded and noisy. Feels like being in a McDonalds. Food and tea was great though. Overall a nice experience but would appreciate more privacy experience for these prices.

This restaurant is a dream! The service is friendly, down to earth and knowledgeable, the food and wine sublime, and all of this in the beautiful art-deco dining room just down the hall from some of the world’s most beautiful objects for sale.

Christmas in NY most definitely includes, BG !!! Although we didn't have a window view; I must remember this for the next time. The experience was great!! Our seasoned server Carrena did not skip a beat. I couldn't decide what to order as everything that passed our table looked absolutely scrumptious. I settled on the Chilean Sea Bass; OMG! Chef's Kiss. If your visiting NYC or plan to visit NYC this holiday season or anytime. Put BG on your list!! You will not be disappointed. And if you are a NYC resident like myself, don't wait for restaurant week. Make a reservation and go with family and friends. Trust me you will be so happy you did! Happy Holidays, Pamela Anderson

We have been frequent diners at Bergdorf over many years, however this was our first visit to the US since Covid. This visit for an early dinner indicated a concerning change since the last meal there. The problem was basically related to the service provided.it was an issue that seemed to permeate the whole restaurant. The waiters did not want to be there. They congregated at the end of the room chatting and avoiding diners. We were not offered bread and our order was taken incorrectly. This ordinary treatment soured what has always previously been an enjoyable experience.

Booked for the location and wasn't disappointed. Would happily go back for the shrimp special. Worth booking ahead as the restaurant was fully packed for lunch in the middle of the week. It was noisy and the wait staff could have been more attentive, but understandable given how busy the restaurant was.

We made a reservation for tea. There was so much delicious food, we couldn’t even eat it all! They kindly boxed it up for us. We had lovely people sitting on either side of us and enjoyed our conversations all the way around!

Wonderful afternoon tea experience with my mom and daughter. Food was just okay but service and atmosphere made up for it. Beautiful views overlooking Central Park. It is a splurge for $75pp but I’d highly recommend for a special occasion!

Lovely setting. But unfortunately, the high tea needs to improve to match the BG brand. Dry sandwich bread and fillings in need of seasoning. The brownie was like something from Costco and the macaron flavors were practically indistinguishable - purple… maybe some sort of odd blueberry? And the tea itself - we chose earl gray - weak, even with additional steeping time, with no floral aroma. Supremely unfortunate.
