We celebrate our first kiss anniversary every year. Beverly's has become a tradition, since it is similar to a restaurant my wife and I went to on the night I asked her to marry me. Beverly's is always a warm, inviting and romantic setting for our special night. The staff and the setting is the main reason we keep coming back. Thank you.

Views are spectacular. We could see all of the holiday decorations on the property and across the lake. Fireworks went off every 1/2 hour. The food and service is always excellent.

The bar and coctails were wonderful. Our dinning experience was mixed. The meat we ordered was cooked to perfection, however, the sides that came with it were marginal and unexciting.

I have nothing but accolades for Beverly's. I colleague flew in from out of state. Beverly's (without me asking) set us up in the small, private dining room overlooking the lake. Great ambience for business.

Granted, it was very busy for Thanksgiving Dinner. I made the reservation weeks in advance knowing that it was going to be busy. Plus I was dining with children, so planned in advance to have an early dinner. We arrived 10 min early for the reservation, but not seated until 30 min after our reserved time. If I wanted dinner at 6, I would have made a reservation at 6, not 5:30. I probably wouldn’t have had such a big problem with it, if they had not sat three other tables ahead of us.
I give stars for the food. Dinner was delicious. However, we took most of it to go. Our server had no interest in providing us good service, it seemed like she was just going from table to table. In short, we came for the food so we just left with the food.

I don't believe our evening could have been better unless a person is actually trying to find something wrong to prove their superior palates. However, our group of four had nothing but compliments during our two hours. All the staff seemed to be genuinely friendly.

We were at the resort for a couples conference and also to celebrate our wedding anniversary. When I made the reservations, I marked that it was our anniversary and most restaurants usually give you a complimentary dessert or drinks. This place did nothing!! Very disappointed on the service and food. We got a special dinner for 2 for $60 which included a salad, main entree and dessert. We ordered the prime rib which looked like a thin piece of overcooked sirloin very unappetizing and rubbery and a chicken oscar which was salty and not good at all. Service was below average.
Dockside is MUCH better and less expensive. Very disappointed for our anniversary dinner!

It was excellent experience overall. The food and service were top notch. They had glutton free options which were a bonus. It had a view overlooking the lake which was awesome. The booth was a little too overstuffed and hard to get in and out but that's just me being over critical. We are planning on going back { choosing a table though } in the future

Nicole provided outstanding service, the meal timing was excellent from water to dessert, adn the host staff, bussing staff, and other assisting staff were all gracious, courteous, professional, and friendly. Great Jazz music in the lounge after dinner topped off a wonderful evening.

Food & Service was excellent as well as the ambiance. The "special" feature for our special occasion was, i think, underwhelming. I mean, cotton candy, really? I didn't even care for it when I was a kid. And quite frankly, it looked a little icky.

A very pleasant lunch with old friends, good food, good service and a great view, other than the plants just outside the window that obscure some of the view.

We were visiting my hometown. My wife had never been to Beverly's so I thought it would be a good reward for taking her up in the hills, clearing fallen trees with the chainsaw (from peevee to pearls!).
She loved it. Our waitstaff was very professional but comfortable talking about themselves when asked.
I'm a nerdy type of guy (electrical engineer) so I was tickled with the electronic menus. To say my wife's face glowed wasn't an understatement.
We settled on the Rib Eye. All TWO LBS of it. OMG, it was a carnivores dream! Perfectly cooked. While they brought three sauces, the steak was so good by itself we never bothered with the sauce.
The crimini mushrooms were to die for. I could have had a plate of them for dinner by themselves. Red potatoes, asparagus rounded out our dinner.
My wife is not the $200 per bottle type of wine person (yep, I married well!). They had a wide range of wines, with many in our price range, that she liked. (For those that appreciate a $200 bottle of fine wine, you could be happy too). I'm a beer guy and they had a great local IPA.
A fun place, elegant but not stuffy. Not inexpensive but VERY fair for the excellent dinner and service.
I'm sure next time we're in CdA, dinner at Beverley's will be on our calendar.

We went to Beverly's for a birthday dinner and it did not disappoint. The atmosphere is casual or dressy... you choose, it's a resort. We were extremely lucky to sit in the Owner's Dining Room (Hagadone's). You can always request it and, could be as lucky as we were!

The food is absolutely amazing. It is definitely on the higher end of dining so be willing to spend good money; I guarantee you it is worth it for a beautiful night on the lake. Our server was absolutely attentive, courteous and went above and beyond to ensure we were satisfied. My recommendations include: carpaccio, ceasar salad, any steak or seafood and the chocolate souffle for dessert (with coffee because they give you the best mini coffee bar ever).

Delightful and delicious dining experience!

Excellent service; extensive wine list and delicious food. The crab cakes were slightly cool in the center and the grape tomatoes on the halibut dish were cold which was odd.

The bar area isn't big, so don't plan on getting there too early before your reservation and expect to get a seat. If you're okay with standing go for it. Our food was outstanding and the service was great. Order the huckleberry souffle. You won't regret it.

Reservations were at 5:00, table by the window with a great view. My bouillabaisse was outstanding, thick with perfectly cooked seafood in a light saffron broth. My wife had salmon with fall vegetables; while the fish and vegetables were both very good, she was less enthusiastic about the pairing.

We had friends in from out of town and thought Beverly's might be a nice place to go for dining. The lake view is really nice, and one of the best in Coeur d Alene. However, we think the menu is expensive for the quality of food. Our friend had to send the carpaccio back as it was so fatty she couldn't eat it. The famous orange rolls were dry ( bummer). My husbands pork tomahawk was a bit over cooked. As locals, we won't return. We would only recommend Beverly's as a place to enjoy the view, but with many warnings about the menu.

Our server was fantastic. The view is gorgeous. They have ONE vegetarian option, which was, literally, sliced zucchini between mashed potatoes. They called it a napoleon. It was really awful. My partner got a shrimp pesto dish and had them hold the shrimp and it was good--had a lot of flavor. My huckleberry lemon drop I'm sure had exactly one drop of alchohol, thus the name. It had no flavor except for the sugar on the rim. I was pretty stunned at the bad ratio between price and value. We've gone there in the past and really enjoyed ourselves. We're unlikely to go again. Lots of options in Coeur D'Alene.

We had a very mixed experience; I suspect that the 5 or so chefs in the open kitchen have very different levels of experience. We had great appetizers and then things got "varied". My elk special was terrific, but my husband's pork chop was so overcooked it was hard to cut. His soufflé was overcooked and rubbery. My molten chocolate cake was solid. Seems like there's an overcooking theme here.

The wine and the sommelier were wonderful. Service was good. But I can't recommend a restaurant that gets only half of the dishes right, particularly at this price level.

P.S. They comped us the pork chop, so kudos for doing the right thing. Could there have been someone just starting in the kitchen?

For the price, the food is not worth it. I could get the same low-quality cut of steak at a diner. If I ever returned, I'd sit it in the lounge area and just have drinks. The bartender is attentive, the wine list is impressive, and the view is gorgeous.
