As always are dinner was wonderful and our wait staff terrific!!!
The table width was generous and noise level high so conversation was limited. Service ok but not great and food just so so.
Berverly's has the best view of any restaurant in Coeur d'Alene! The interior ambiance is also excellent. The service was excellent but the food was only good. For the price the quality should have been higher. Go to Berverly's for the view and experience, not for the food.
Great service. Enjoyed sunset in the bar before dinner. Although lemon caper sauce is not unique in salmon, the freshness and strength of flavors of each came together perfectly. The elk chop was cooked just right. Though surrounding wait staff rushed about, our dinner was unhurried and relaxed. Coffee service and beignets was the perfect finish.
Overall we enjoyed the experience. Went for our 49th anniversary. My filet was not as tender as I thought it should be, but was very tasty. I had steak and prawns, my wife had seared ahi tuna. Both dishes were excellent except for my steak which was done to perfection, but not as tender as it should be. We also had crab cakes for appetizer which had an amazing sauce. Summer was our waitress and was excellent. Complements to the chef on great flavors and presentation.
I came with family members to celebrate a 60th wedding anniversary. My wife passed away 4 months short of this anniversary........but she was present in the form of a beautiful RED ROSE we brought in.The surprise was o lovely candle on a scoop of ice cream, surrounded by blue cotton candy. BEAUTIFUL CELEBRATION OF OUR LIVES TOGETHER
We had a great meal and literally, everything we ate we thought was amazing. Our server, Summer, was over the top wonderful and we were even more happy with our experience because of the attention she provided us. We would not hesitate to recommend Beverly’s
Outstanding food. Very large wine list of exceptional wines. We had carpaccio that was amazing for an appetizer. We had pepper soup and it was seasoned just right. I had lamb chops that was an adequate portion done exactly to my taste.
The only reason I can't give it 5 stars is the restaurant didn't seem to have any way of controlling the sunshine that poured in through the gigantic windows, heating us up and blinding us. The view (7th floor) over lake Coeur d'Alene is fantastic, but on a sunny day you need some form of sun control. The "business express" lunch was great, and surprisingly affordable.
We were in town for a wedding and decided to check out Beverly's. There isn't a bad seat in the restaurant for views across the water. There was enough buzz around our table for energy, but it was not noisy. Our waiter was knowledgeable about the offerings and friendly.
Beverly’s was recommended to us by a friend, who worked there many years ago. We traveled from Virginia, taking in the major attractions of each state as we made our way to the west coast. Beverly’s was everything she said it would be!! Our meal was excellent, the view was spectacular and our waitress was very professional, but personable!! Thanks for a great treat!!
Second time here and loved it both times. Very very pricey but paying for the view I guess which is phenominal! I would really love to see them have a complete dinner choice though without have to order pretty much alacarte.
Very nice restaurant with a wonderful view. I was a little disappointed in the service, especially since the sommelier had to read the back of the wine bottle to tell me what varietals were in the wine I ordered. I think he should do that before he comes to the table, I can read a label myself. The rose was not chilled and he did not put a cloth over the ice bucket so our server was dripping water all over the place at every pour. Attention to detail is important, even if the bottle you order is not $100. For a restaurant that prides itself on its wine collection it was a little disappointing. On the bright side the food was good and the view was spectacular.
Our meal peaked with the orange roll they offer you when you sit down! We were staying at the resort and were told Beverly's was the best restaurant in the city. It was horrible. My wife's steak had to be returned twice because it was raw. My steak was tough as shoe leather. My asparagus was ice cold. When we told the server he ignored us for the rest of the meal.
had to give one star because there were no zero stars.
The open face crab sandwich was wonderful! I went there to try Beverly’s “Express Lunch” which also sounded great but just couldn’t pass up the crab. Of course, the view and overall ambiance of the restaurant was perfect. Would definitely recommend this venue to friends and will return each time I’m in CdA!
It was very romantic & we had a great view of the Lake! The service & food was impeccable! The ambiance is great too!
There is an amazing Happy Hour in the bar till 6
Love the view and excellent service in the restaurant! We had a little problem in the bar! We ordered “Old Fashions” and specifically said the regular ones and we were served some sugary drink they said was an “Old Fashion” The waitress quickly replaced our drinks with a much better “Old Fashion “ even though the bartender she said swore he made a regular “Old Fashion” a little disappointed in his response and didn’t need to be repeated to us by waitress! Just a courtesy thing! But in the restaurant service was impeccable! Food amazing, and my brother travels and works all over the world, and he enjoyed it!
Hadn’t been to Beverly’s in about two years, sadly disappointed that no upgrades had been done. The flowers in the window over looking the lake were all gone nasty to look at. It was too cold in the restaurant especially along the window where we had to ask to be moved. Food was good enough. Our waiter was not in a very happy mood not personable at all.
We brought guests from Salt Lake City to show off our beautiful area. Our table location was great - corner view, more private and quiet. Our waiter was charming and well informed. Our food was delicious! Crab cakes are a good appetizer. Enjoyed everything!
Food was ok but the thing that made it worth the money is the view and amazing quality of wine
40th Anniversary dinner
The food was fabulous, from the orange glazed croissants to the thick & juicy Tomahawk Chop pork chop. The wine list was the most extensive we'd ever seen. Excellent bottle of Riesling. Service was attentive but not intrusive. The views can't be beat of the water, mountains, and boats. The desserts are out of a fairy book but I won't give any details so as not to spoil the surprise when they arrive at your table. All I will say is they are very tasty and very artfully presented.
Food was very good and the service was excellent, but way too noisey. My husband and I couldn't carry on a conversation without having to say.....what?
We went here to celebrate my son's 13th birthday. The service was good, the food was good, and the atmosphere was nice. I didn't give it 5 stars for a few reasons:
1) although we had a late reservation (came after a long round of golf), and the restaurant was very quiet, our table wasn't ready and we had to wait a bit for it to be set and for them to figure out where to seat us. Since we had a reservation my expectation was our table would be ready upon arrival
2) the crab cakes appetizer we ordered was good, but not very warm. The outside was warm and they were clearly seared off just before serving, but the middle was cool/luke warm.
3) our server was very friendly, but seemed distracted. Maybe it's because we were one of the last tables in for the evening. Our busser did a great job checking on us, though!
Overall, I would go here again, and would recommend it to others. The food was fresh, and good. It was expensive, but in line with what I would expect at a fine dining restaurant in a nice resort. Great views!
I always have an amazing time at Beverly’s. It is my favorite place for special occasions like birthdays or anniversary. We were celebrating my boyfriends birthday, the service was amazing, great food, and the huckleberry souflé is the best dessert I’ve ever had!
Table was dirty, grease streaks, yes I touched it, glass marks on the side we were not even sitting on. Service was good, appetizer was lovely.
Excellent dining with great views of the lake all year round, endless wine list, a must go to when in the Coeur d' Alene area
The food was good, but not great. Especially considering the cost.
The service was outstanding, and the ambiance was great. It was a beautiful view of the lake. They also had a significant wine list, and I would be willing to go back just for a wine tasting.
The outstanding feature is your sensational wine list and your totally lovely sommalier. We had a bottle of 2005 chateau bel air 2005 for $56. A beautiful wine for a beautiful price! The crab cakes were extraordinary, the duck lovely. You accommodated the gluten free problem with grace.
Our experience at Beverly's was outstanding. Our server, Summer, was very nice, friendly and pleasant. I had the Kobe steak special and it was amazing! Best steak I've ever had and we get fresh steak all the time. My wife loved her salmon special as well. Great experience and we would recommend to anyone.
We went for lunch. The portions were nice sized. The appetizers were great and nice portion size and very reasonable. We had asparagus, hummus and huckleberry salad with lots of shaved Parmesan. For entrees my wife had the French dip and she said it was the best French dip she had ever had. I had the ahi tuna and it was perfect. The presentation and flavor were awesome.
Our server was very friendly but slow and maybe preoccupied or too many tables.
Great view with average service. The food is always good.
Our server did a wonderful job along with the other service. Good menu and good food.
The view from the restruant was terrific
We looked forward to this dinner for weeks and were not disappointed at all. The bar and dining room staff was excellent and friendly and the dinner itself couldn't have been better. Wish we lived in Coeur D'Alene so we could dine there more often. 5 stars!
The ambience was lovely and the service very nice, and the prices were reasonable but all the food was extremely salty which detracted from the overall experience
Steak was over cooked the first time....well done instead of medium rare. They brought another one but it was way over salted.
Sea Bass was good but it was cold along with the mixed veggies. Our waiter was good and apologetic. They did bring us two glasses of complimentary port wine that was not very good. Not sure what is happening at Beverly’s but it seems the quality is not as it once was. Disappointing for the price point.
Service was fantastic! Very accommodating to me he requests
Tried to order salmon dinner without butter. Asked for no buerre blanc, but then had to ask if there was any other butter used. Server said yes, there was also butter in the cauliflower. Server offered no alternative, either you take it as is or order something else. Really? Not my idea of fine dining. Shrimp cocktail was not served until after the main course arrived. The wine service started and ended with the bottle opening and first glass service. Not the level of service we expected for the price.
Beverly's never disappoints. The food and the presentation is consistently excellent. Wine selection is outstanding. The wine Sommelier (Sam) is very knowledgeable and helpful with suggestions. We had the filet and shrimp special. The steak was cooked to perfection and was one of the best I have had in recent memory. The oysters on the half shell appetizer were amazing.
