Christmas Day: Open at 8:00pm for cocktails and merriment!

Betty Danger’s Country Club, a kooky Country Club located in Palm Springsland in sunny Nordeast Minneapolis. Home to the Danger, a vertically revolving dining and drinking experience.

Now presenting; Mary’s Christmas Palace open now and running until Feb. 28th or so. Where mismatch Christmas decor with a retro flare plasters every nook and cranny…Mary, Betty’s other personality, has gone overboard with everything Christmas, including tacky balls and bows, lights, garland. Mary will debut an all new American country club classics menu with Christmas time eats and drinks for the entire winter season.

Additional tables may be available if reservations are full.
*Please note: reservations are for the dining room only. The Danger (wheel) & Patio seating is on a first come first served basis.

Our server was absolutely amazing!! He got us everything that we needed or wanted. The decorations were beautiful. Unfortunately we were by a very loud table so we couldn’t hear the Christmas music playing, but that’s okay! Everyone was enjoying themselves!

All the Christmas decorations were fabulous, way over the top. The food and service were good. We had to ask for cream for the coffee and the tea drinkers only got one tea bag. It was loud, we had 5 in our party and I couldn't hear the 2 people sitting 2 chairs away. The seating near the front door seemed quieter.

Betty Dangers has a very fun atmosphere. Unfortunately the service and the food was not good. The service was extremely slow. The food came out at different times so we had some people in our group with food and others without. It got to be so long we had to ask where the rest of the food was. I had a steak salad and asked for Ranch dressing. The salad consisted of lettuce, tomatoes and steak, that’s it. The dressing that I received was a very fishy Caesar and unfortunately I didn’t realize it wasn’t ranch until it was on the salad. We ordered dessert because it was a special occasion and had to ask where it was twice. We had to ask for our check twice. We are a pretty low key group so for us to have to inquire so much is not our norm. We won’t be going back.

We enjoyed our visit and do not agree with some of the negative reviews I read prior to our night out. Our server, Ben, did an excellent job and was timely. The décor was not disappointing and we all had a good time.

We had a group of 7 and came in from Atlanta with family. It was so fun seeing all the Christmas decorations. Service was perfect and they suggested the Ferris wheel which was a blast. Food was awesome.

So much fun! Loved all the Christmas lights!! Good food, good service, drinks were fun (yes, I said fun) to drink! So good! Loved the edible cookie dough for dessert and the hot cocoa in the mug to go. The ferris wheel is a must! This place makes me happy!!

It was a "date night" with my 10 yr old daughter. She say the decor at Dangers and requested that we have our "date" there after dark. We had an amazing time ! The decor was over-the-top christmas decorations. However, it made for an amazing atmosphere - the lights, the music, the endless trimmings. The dinner was excellent, and the cookie-dough desert a huge hit. The topping was the sights atop " the Danger" - Nordeast all lit-up and beautiful.
Thank you !!!

I took my mom and daughter to Betty Danger's Country Club for my mom's birthday. None of us had ever been there. Making reservation was the way to go. But it was so busy that the service was pretty slow. Our coffee got cold and the bottomless mimosas took a long time to get refilled. The food was really great! And we loved the fun Christmas decorations. The one things that was probably the worst part was that it was super noisy and really hard to have a conversation. We found that we were almost yelling at each other. I would recommend checking this place out. The food was worth it. But don't go here if you want to chat.

We went to Betty’s specifically for their Christmas display and we were frankly blown away by what they had done inside. If you need a dose of cheer to tide you over till the holidays, go here!!! The menu is an homage to the foods and beverages we all remember with an extra dash of creativity thrown in. It’s by no means gourmet, but it hits the mark for nostalgia and comfort. Mission accomplished.

We went for brunch and it was very lovely. We felt very welcome as soon as we walked in. We all had a delicious brunch cocktail and the family style brunch option. The only item that disappointed was the dry chicken finger pile. More gravy might have helped that. We ended the brunch with a quick round of mini golf. Was a perfect way to spend one of the last days of a tolerable (weatherwise) fall.

Fun ambiance. Interesting food and drink menu. Christmas decorations are really fun. Have to ride the Danger if you go here. Server was great, but took quite a while for drinks and food to deliver. We will return!

If you love the holidays and want a unique experience id recommend going for a drink. Food and alcohol was over priced. Food less then ok. But novel idea. 1 and done.

Obviously huge kitch factor... Love the vibe and scenery... but as a dude who just spent 9 years in NYC the quality of food is not up to snuff and the prices are fairly egregious. Server was a swell dude. Food is just run of the mill ala Sysco and drink prices are kind of nuts. I hate the fact that money is getting in the way of my experience but the only way I'd come back is for happy hour.

Christmas in October- what a blast!! It also coincided with the first snowfall. The Christmas themed menu and drinks was festively designed. The food was good and had very large portions. Special shout out to the meatball burger - delicious. We had.no room for dessert, but next time we’re there, I plan to save room for diy sugar cookies. The atmosphere was noisey in a good way. Think huge family gathering for the holidays. We left with happy feelings. For it’s uniqueness I really recommend it.

We had a great time and the food was very good. A little spendier than anticipated, but delicious. Had to make two separate reservations and split our party of 6 in two - they would not seat us next to each other even though there were tables near us that never filled while we were there. It didn't take away too much from the whole experience - the hostess was a bit gruff, but the servers were excellent and the service was great!!

Gave it 4 stars mainly for the (early) Christmas decor and ambiance. The only menu available weekends is the brunch menu. Paid $13.95 for eggs and potatoes. The biscuit came without butter and each of us was charged $2.00 for butter!!!!

Food was ok, pink mimosa was delicious. Waiter wanted to bring the check before I even had a second cup of coffee (which I had to ask for).

Surprising number of babies and children there on a Saturday at noon. Go for the ambiance but don't expect a great food experience.

Decor was over the top and really fun.
Menu looked ok but service was really, really slow. Even for drinks and waters.
Our meal came out before our appetizers did and that was a long wait.
Food was ok. Nothing amazing. Drinks were fun. Would come back for drinks sometime.

Took out of town guests for brunch. It is Mary's Holiday Palace and the place is amazing, every inch decorated on top of the normal unusual environment. My primary disappointment was the food, I would avoid the family-style brunch option and go for the individual selections. The food was just a bit too salty / overcooked / fatty. Sausage and biscuits were amazing, however.

It's just not my cup of tea, but I still recommend if you want a fun, quirky place to have just ok food and yell to talk to the people you are with. I think it would be more fun in nice weather. The danger Wheel was great in theory, but too cold for it. My hot chocolate drink coagulated and had a greasy, globby film on the top. The whole restaurant was already decorated in Christmas...LOTS of Christmas on October 5th. Again, maybe in the summer I would have enjoyed myself a bit more.
