Betty Danger's Country Club
Betty Danger’s Country Club, a kooky Country Club located in Palm Springsland in sunny Nordeast Minneapolis. Home to the Danger, a vertically revolving dining and drinking experience.
Now presenting; Mary’s Christmas Palace open now and running until Feb. 28th or so. Where mismatch Christmas decor with a retro flare plasters every nook and cranny…Mary, Betty’s other personality, has gone overboard with everything Christmas, including tacky balls and bows, lights, garland. Mary will debut an all new American country club classics menu with Christmas time eats and drinks for the entire winter season.
Additional tables may be available if reservations are full.
*Please note: reservations are for the dining room only. The Danger (wheel) & Patio seating is on a first come first served basis.

If you love the holidays and want a unique experience id recommend going for a drink. Food and alcohol was over priced. Food less then ok. But novel idea. 1 and done.
Only go for a drink and the ambiance, Ferris wheel, and mini golf. Bring TUMS if you plan on eating there.
Loved the Christmas decorations and Christmas themed menu. Food was above average and service was very good.
Loved the decorations ! The Christmas platter was great and fun holiday titled drink menus. Santa’s boot was tasty!
Our server was not good, kept on forgetting things, brought one napkin at a time, did not check on us, we had to call her over.
Obviously huge kitch factor... Love the vibe and scenery... but as a dude who just spent 9 years in NYC the quality of food is not up to snuff and the prices are fairly egregious. Server was a swell dude. Food is just run of the mill ala Sysco and drink prices are kind of nuts. I hate the fact that money is getting in the way of my experience but the only way I'd come back is for happy hour.
I thought it was too pricy.
Christmas in October- what a blast!! It also coincided with the first snowfall. The Christmas themed menu and drinks was festively designed. The food was good and had very large portions. Special shout out to the meatball burger - delicious. We had.no room for dessert, but next time we’re there, I plan to save room for diy sugar cookies. The atmosphere was noisey in a good way. Think huge family gathering for the holidays. We left with happy feelings. For it’s uniqueness I really recommend it.
We had a great time with the early Christmas theme at the restaurant. Food was very good!
We had a great time and the food was very good. A little spendier than anticipated, but delicious. Had to make two separate reservations and split our party of 6 in two - they would not seat us next to each other even though there were tables near us that never filled while we were there. It didn't take away too much from the whole experience - the hostess was a bit gruff, but the servers were excellent and the service was great!!
Fantastic food, fantastic atmosphere, just a truly incredible time
Gave it 4 stars mainly for the (early) Christmas decor and ambiance. The only menu available weekends is the brunch menu. Paid $13.95 for eggs and potatoes. The biscuit came without butter and each of us was charged $2.00 for butter!!!!
Food was ok, pink mimosa was delicious. Waiter wanted to bring the check before I even had a second cup of coffee (which I had to ask for).
Surprising number of babies and children there on a Saturday at noon. Go for the ambiance but don't expect a great food experience.
Decor was over the top and really fun.
Menu looked ok but service was really, really slow. Even for drinks and waters.
Our meal came out before our appetizers did and that was a long wait.
Food was ok. Nothing amazing. Drinks were fun. Would come back for drinks sometime.
Food was fun and tasty! Be prepared the helpings are huge! We went here to see the Christmas decorations and it was fantastic!!!! The staff was friendly and the manager was visible and engaging with customers for feedback on the menu.
Took out of town guests for brunch. It is Mary's Holiday Palace and the place is amazing, every inch decorated on top of the normal unusual environment. My primary disappointment was the food, I would avoid the family-style brunch option and go for the individual selections. The food was just a bit too salty / overcooked / fatty. Sausage and biscuits were amazing, however.
It's just not my cup of tea, but I still recommend if you want a fun, quirky place to have just ok food and yell to talk to the people you are with. I think it would be more fun in nice weather. The danger Wheel was great in theory, but too cold for it. My hot chocolate drink coagulated and had a greasy, globby film on the top. The whole restaurant was already decorated in Christmas...LOTS of Christmas on October 5th. Again, maybe in the summer I would have enjoyed myself a bit more.
Great place to get to know new friends. Ferris wheel was a lot of fun. I would go again for drinks and app's.
When I arrived the host did not find my name attached to a reservation. We tried various possible spellings but to no avail. They were not busy so we got a table. No big deal. The problem was the fact that the server gave us menus but failed to tell us that the entire right half of the menu was not yet active, so we had a very limited choice of appetizers, sides and a few sandwiches. It would have been o.k. but we looked over the menu and made choices only to be told when asked for the order that we had to start over. We would have left had we known. The food was adequate, but the roasted brussel sprouts were soaked in oil and the rest of the food was just o.k. All in all, a very unsatisfactory experience
For drinks only as food is over price for getting more fries than food.
After going, my wife and our friends want to add this to our normal rotation of restaurants. the food was good and the atmosphere was fun.
Menu was limited but a big part of the experience is the ambiance.
Great experience and fun venue for bringing out of town guests. Thanks for a memorable time - we will be back!
Food & cocktails were great but our server was pretty slow. It seemed like she had most the tables outside on a Saturday afternoon- not wise. I will definitely be back despite that! Be sure to take a ride on the Ferris wheel with a cocktail in hand.
Lots of fly’s in restaurant. Ferris Wheel is nice.
Love this place, but last Friday night our server would disappear for 20 minutes at a time, our plates were not cleared when finished- some plates we not cleared even after we had paid. Waters went unfilled and getting a drink brought to the table was a 15-20 minute ordeal. Hope this place gets it together because it is a gem of an establishment.
It was a fun night. We even went on the ferris wheel for a ride for the first time. The steak sandwich was delicious as was the everyone elses meal.
That's the best Minneapolis restaurant I've ever been to. Outstanding ambient, delicious food. Strongly recommend it to everyone.
So fun! Food was better than expected, Ferris wheel operator was super great!
We were delighted with our gathering at Betty Danger’s. Wonderful waitress. Loved the surroundings. Clean, well kept restrooms. Our waitress made a birthday cake with candle and 7 mini donuts!! Little kids enjoyed the mini golf and adults loved the wheel. The horse outside the restroom did not work. Please fix or put a note that says it doesn’t work to save quarters. Disappointed little kids. Overall...a very pleasant lunch.
It was a little expensive but I think that’s because of the atmosphere which I understand, but $12 is crazy to me.
Well. It is kitschy. It’s also very loud. The food was only so-so. So, I won’t be back. Still glad we went if only to ride the Danger Wheel.
The restaurant was decorated in an amusing way and the atmosphere was fun, although rather loud. The menu choices were kind of limited and there should be non-alcoholic beverages listed in the menu, there are none listed. The food was good. We rode on the ferris wheel and that was a lot of fun. It goes at a comfortable speed and there are great views.
We didn’t realize Betty Dangers did brunch and we’re pleasantly surprised! We saw this on man vs food show and ordered the Brunching Champions Challenge with the Ferris wheel. There was a mix up on the order but the Ferris wheel came out and the food AND drinks (recommend the Sparkle Donkey and spicy Bloody Mary) was great. The assortment of foods and taste was awesome!
Cool atmosphere, mediocre food.
Will try again.
Fun spot to dine on a nice day!
Food was tasty overall and would have been great had it not been raining1
Our server was wonderful but the staff member working the Ferris wheel before shift change at 4 pm, was less than welcoming. He came across as unhappy with his job and snarky when asked questions.
Food was great, service was great, my mom loved the ferris wheel and animals on the put put course. I just think overall prices are a little steep. If you spend a couple of hundred bucks maybe you should be able to ride and play for free
Always love going to Betty's. They had a small "event" menu or something this day and it didn't have the normal dining options outside as in the past. Maybe that's only inside now? Tacos were amazing! The inside noise was louder than previous visits. We were able to sit outside this lovely Saturday evening so that wasn't an issue. All-in-all...another great visit and I highly recommend Betty Danger's.
The brunch selection was limited and over priced. The food itself was reworked lunch/dinner fare. Not very tasty. But the venue and service were excellent.
