Betty Danger's Country Club
Betty Danger’s Country Club, a kooky Country Club located in Palm Springsland in sunny Nordeast Minneapolis. Home to the Danger, a vertically revolving dining and drinking experience.
Now presenting; Mary’s Christmas Palace open now and running until Feb. 28th or so. Where mismatch Christmas decor with a retro flare plasters every nook and cranny…Mary, Betty’s other personality, has gone overboard with everything Christmas, including tacky balls and bows, lights, garland. Mary will debut an all new American country club classics menu with Christmas time eats and drinks for the entire winter season.
Additional tables may be available if reservations are full.
*Please note: reservations are for the dining room only. The Danger (wheel) & Patio seating is on a first come first served basis.

We came for a Christmas themed restaurant and we blown out of the water! We didn’t eat but the food smelled amazing. The drinks were fun, quirky, delicious, and expensive - but worth it. We wish we could have stayed longer!
Overpriced crappy food. Service was beyond slow. Good thing this place has a gimmick to get people in the door - the Christmas lights and atmosphere is really fun.
Had a dinner reservation at 6:30. We waited over 45mins before we left to go eat dinner somewhere else.
Exceptional Christmas experience! Decorations are fantastic and the food was excellent!!
Awesome Christmas and holiday decorations!! loved the sugar cookies with individual frosting bags :)
Fun atmosphere and great food!
This place is great. The service we received was not very good. But I heard and saw other servers giving great service. The hostesses were not friendly or helpful. They were very quiet, and seemed rude (but really I don’t think they knew what they were doing and didn’t feel confident but more confused as to what was happening). We had a reservation and came a little early in the afternoon. There were empty tables everywhere because there was a snow storm. They made us wait until our reservation and seated 3 walk in groups before us. The food was good, except the burger- not good. But the breakfast hash and chicken tenders were great. The hot chocolate was delicious and so were DIY Christmas cookies we ordered as an app to keep our 2 yr old occupied. Overall great Christmas decor, good food worth the trip.
Great food cool place
Birthday for our Grandkids
The four of us enjoyed the fun atmosphere that was embellished with the exuberant holiday decorations. The coordinated seasonal menu (Mistletoe burger, Not Quite Three French Hens pot pie, etc.) was a nice touch also. We were disappointed that there was no decaf coffee or tea available. The service was prompt, the food, delicious. We especially liked the mini donut dessert.
It was good! Super fun out of the ordinary pick!
The kitsch and tacky decor is the only reason to go. The overpriced food is bland and service marginal.
This is an outstanding quirky experience. The food is very good and the atmosphere makes you smile. We had an excellent brunch while marveling at all the funky holiday decorations—then topped it off with some miniature golf. I am still smiling.
It was delightful.
A very unique and fun place to take visitors from out of town. Service was excellent and the food was very good. Being able to ride the Danger in late November was also a great experience. We were able to hear each other as we ate brunch and really overall just had a pleasant visit with old friends.
This is a place that is a fun experience and atmosphere for friends who like to party. It is very loud and boisterous and the decor at Christmas feels like a bomb filled with tinsel and lights exploded everywhere. It would be overwhelming to someone who cannot take too much stimulation. The food was very average. I don’t think people go there for the food, but it should be experienced at least once.
Had reservations but still had to wait about 40 minutes to get seated. Seated at what amounted to a card table close to back door that was cold every time someone went to Ferris wheel. Service was not good and it was extremely noisy so difficult to have a conversation. Would not go back.
We met another couple at Betty dangers for dinner and had a 5:00 reservation. We were seated promptly. The place was decorated beautifully in Christmas decorations but the noise was so loud it was hard to hear each other talk. The waiter seemed uninterested in our table and provided adequate service. The food (we all ordered sandwich plates) was good, expensive, but simply bar fare. The sampler platter appetizer was good (but skimpy) and way overpriced at around $25.00.
However, we were asked to leave by our waiter a little after 7:00 with him informing us his manager told him to tell us the reservations are set up in 2 hour windows and we overstayed our welcome. We spent close to $150.00 and to be asked to leave a "bar" setting is unbelievable. We will never go back as there are plenty of great places to drink and dine in the Twin Cities. Would not recommend Betty Dangers.
It’s a campy Christmas explosion with great cocktails and delicious food!
Porch seating is not the same as main restaurant vibe. Less cozy.
Horrible service and for the food.
Loved all the Christmas lights and decorations and the festive Christmas menu. Loved ordering a plate of cookies to decorate while waiting for the food. Great service!! Going back with more friends.
The best place for drinks and food during the holiday season. It is so cool looking!
Had fun!! Loved everything. Food was delicious, server was wonderful and decorations awesome
This restaurant had such a fun environment! The Christmas decorations were hilarious and they went ALL OUT! The menu was completely Christmas themed and even made ordering fun. Our waiter, Andrew, was funny, attentive, and made the experience even better :) thank you Betty Dangers!
It was a Christmas explosion and we loved it. Clever menu to tie into the holiday theme. Food and drink were superb - especially the Brussels sprouts and the mashed potatoes.
I have not been to Betty Danger's before. I was totally surprised. It has the most fun holiday atmosphere I have ever seen! You need to see it yourself to believe it!
Wonderful transformation to Christmas extravaganza! The special menu is delicious. Turducken pot pie is a winner. Noise level is pretty high, and service out of the kitchen could have been better, but a great evening overall!
Most amazing brunch ever! The bottomless drinks were a bonus and they came quick. Super cute, quirky and fun!
We loved the Christmas decor. Server was great; personal, entertaining, and provided excellent service. Went for brunch and had the family style. We will definitely be back!!!!
The outdoor signage says Come on in - it's Christmas inside! and it sure is! The holiday decor is amazing.
Our family of 6 (all adults) dined there on a Thursday evening. We were disappointed that the menu was so limited. They feature a holiday menu now, so it did not compare with the menu options that showed on the website. Definitely not a good value either. Service wasn't great - appetizers were a long time coming, and one of them (Holiday Fries) had to be sent back because it was cold. The replacement took even longer to get, and again, it wasn't hot. The meal with drinks for 6 was $225 - you can do much better in many other restaurants, with better food. I won't return to Betty's.
Love the holiday decorations
Made reservations for 4 pm on Open Table a week in advance but they weren’t open until 4:30. I received a phone call 2 hrs before our arrival to inform us of the problem. Our server was efficient, nice and informative. The food was fine but overpriced for the quality. The atmosphere was fun and festive.
Great food and service. The atmosphere was fabulous. It is a must for anyone who loves Christmas to visit.
Our server was absolutely amazing!! He got us everything that we needed or wanted. The decorations were beautiful. Unfortunately we were by a very loud table so we couldn’t hear the Christmas music playing, but that’s okay! Everyone was enjoying themselves!
All the Christmas decorations were fabulous, way over the top. The food and service were good. We had to ask for cream for the coffee and the tea drinkers only got one tea bag. It was loud, we had 5 in our party and I couldn't hear the 2 people sitting 2 chairs away. The seating near the front door seemed quieter.
Betty Dangers has a very fun atmosphere. Unfortunately the service and the food was not good. The service was extremely slow. The food came out at different times so we had some people in our group with food and others without. It got to be so long we had to ask where the rest of the food was. I had a steak salad and asked for Ranch dressing. The salad consisted of lettuce, tomatoes and steak, that’s it. The dressing that I received was a very fishy Caesar and unfortunately I didn’t realize it wasn’t ranch until it was on the salad. We ordered dessert because it was a special occasion and had to ask where it was twice. We had to ask for our check twice. We are a pretty low key group so for us to have to inquire so much is not our norm. We won’t be going back.
We enjoyed our visit and do not agree with some of the negative reviews I read prior to our night out. Our server, Ben, did an excellent job and was timely. The décor was not disappointing and we all had a good time.
Most amazing experience. Sisters weekend turned into Christmas fun at Bettys. Loved decorating cookies! Fun drinks and atmosphere! Food was delicious. Will definitely return.
We had a group of 7 and came in from Atlanta with family. It was so fun seeing all the Christmas decorations. Service was perfect and they suggested the Ferris wheel which was a blast. Food was awesome.
