Mary's Christmas Palace was so much fun. The decor was over the top. Themed food and drinks were fun. Our server could have been more help with appetizer suggestions. The food was good, not great. One goes for the fun and atmosphere.

The service was HORRIBLE. We had a reservation, and wanted to sit in the main restaurant. They stated it is not guaranteed. After getting seated, we waited 20 minutes for someone to bring water. Our main server only came over twice. They were VERY under staffed and it showed.

This place has a lot of fun drinks and is really creative with their seasonal food shifts and naming! The atmosphere is super energetic and playful, too. The service is really bad, though, which is painful to write as service industry folks. We can’t tell if it’s management not staffing correctly or just lazy, undertrained workers. If it frustrates you to watch servers blatantly ignore tables or WAs move like molasses to turn them...maybe just sit at the bar. Or hang out with the super sweet hosts.

I love Betty Danger's and the atmosphere around Christmas is fantastic. My only complaint this time was having a reservation made well in advance, but still having to wait to be seated upon arrival.

It was lots of fun for Christmas Day. The decorations were way over the top which we loved. At first we were seated by the table game and people were running into us as we sat. I asked to move and they accommodated us. The service was great and I liked the food too. I personally thought it was way over priced. I will never understand why establishments gouge customers on Holidays. May or may not do it again.

Betty’s was a Christmas Eve dinner unlike any other and we are so grateful! As soon as we entered the building, surrounded by the wonderfully creative and over the top decorations, we knew we were in for a joyful and fun experience! The food was excellent and the service outstanding. We can hardly wait to go back this summer. And it’s definitely the place we’ll go again for Christmas Eve.

I’ve been here multiple times due to living in the area and usually have an amazing time. We came for an early Christmas dinner on the 23rd and had an overall great time as usual. However, the hostess was rather rude which started our special occasion off sour. It felt like seating us was a hassle and that we shouldn’t be there due to the volume of people already there despite us having a reservation made in advance and were told we could only have our table for an hour and a half. Which was really all we planned on being there for because of the Vikings game later that day but it was rude to hear that spelled out for us despite the surrounding empty tables. Our server Annie was amazing and made up for it and made us feel very welcome and the food/drinks were great. Just an unfortunate start to what should have been an overall pleasant experience.

It’s the perfect place to get into the Christmas spirit! Be prepared to wait a long time for your food though. Extremely busy! Our waitress was way overworked but still had a smile on her face.

Your first time dining here and everything was awful. We had an 11:30 reservation. We got seated at 12:20 back in the garage. It took over an hour for our food and it arrived to our table cold. My husband talked to someone at the hostess desk and was told to come back another time when they aren’t so busy. A complete waste of $120. We will never go back. My kids were also hugely disappointed in the whole experience

Great decor! Disorganized and understaffed. Arrived early for our reservation. We were seated 20 minutes after our reserved time at the table right at the exterior door. Every time the door opened, we felt the cold wind even though it was a relatively warm day. My wife's order was wrong, so she sat awhile as we had no choice but to eat. As patrons without reservations came in and sat down, the staff would come by and make them get up and go to the host stand. Some type of reserved sign would save a lot of embarrassment for those people. Some of which were fully settled into their seats. All management issues that could easily be solved. Nice quirky vibe though. Prices reasonable, food was ok.

Two of our meals were served hot but one - a steak was cold. The butter on top of the steak was cold and not melting, the potatoes were cold, the brussel sprouts almost warm. BUT, our waitress handled it for us and shortly returns with a hot steak so all was good. BTW - the brussel sprouts are really really good. Been here before and will be here again.

The decor is so fun and festive, we love that! The brunch was really good, but perhaps a bit overpriced. The noise level was okay except the table over a couple was so annoyingly loud that people asked to be moved elsewhere, we should have too. Our food was brought out in a fairly timely manner, however it was set on someone else's table until our waitress came out horrified! Then they just picked it up and moved it to our table 😳😣. Overall, it was a pretty good experience with a few things that could be improved upon.

We had a reservation but were told it was a 45 min wait. After I pointed out the open tables they finally sat us. It took a while for our server to come over and getting drinks was slow. I know it was the holiday crowd, but they should have planned better with more staff. Love the decorations and festive feel. Holiday food and drink menus were creative.

Had a 7:00 reservation, didn’t get in until 8:00 because they were so behind. Seat was right next to a door to the outside that was constantly opening and closing with no extra heaters by our seats, forcing us to wear our coats during dinner. Food delivered without utensils, we had to go ask for them after waiting a few minutes. Food is okay. Ambiance is great, all decked out for Christmas, clever menu items, but taste was a bit disappointing. Kind of a check it off your experience bucket list and never go back type of restaurant.

We had reservations for 5 @ 6:00pm on 12/19. We were seated at 7:45. Yes - we waited an hour and a half for our table. Under staffed and overwhelmed. I actually felt worse for the staff having to work in those conditions. Fun place but plan to wait!

Food was great. That was not the issue. Began by being placed out in patio when there were lots of open tables. Two ladies next to us asked and were allowed to move next to fireplace. We asked and the hostess said she would check. She never came back except to keep putting people in all of the open tables. I had a hot chocolate drink which was lukewarm at best. Waiter was inattentive. Place looked great so I guess they feel that is all thy need to do.

This is a suggestion to the management at Betty Danger’s: A host is the first impression of your establishment. The host we encountered last night significantly lacks professionalism, customer service, and basic people skills. When I arrived for our group’s (4) 4:30pm reservation, there was only one other table that was seated. The individual at the host stand barely acknowledged me and proceeded to seat us at the table directly next to the entrance door. I get it; if it’s the only table available, you get what you get. However, the entire place was empty tables except for one group seated in back. So when I politely asked if we could have a table a little father away from the door, our host rolled her eyes and retorted “there are a lot of big groups tonight.” Yes, I understand this; I’m not asking you to seat us at a table for ten. I’m asking if there is another table for 4 people not so close to the drafty doorway when 98% of the tables in here are vacant. She marched away and up to the host stand where she loudly announced to the other individual “I’ll have to put her somewhere else since the first table wasn’t good enough.” Betty Danger’s, you are better than this. Why would you employ someone who is so blatantly rude, aggressive, and disrespectful to your patrons? I don’t feel that my request for a different table was out of line, but it was treated as the most significant inconvenience our host could have ever experienced. Please have a discussion regarding customer service with this individual. She is giving your patrons a terrible impression of your establishment. (Individual working 12/19 @4:30pm; short medium brown hair and septum piercing.)

I thought the hostess or who ever she was , was rude. Also, I know you want to make money but do you have to squeeze us in like sardines? You have to many tables for it to be enjoyable. I have been there 3 times in a week. the first one was fine, the 2nd was VERY close quarters with people practically sitting on top of each other. and the 3rd time was the same with a rude person seating us.
