The Table is a popular neighborhood spot blessed with a loyal cadre of regular customers. This results in a large portion of diners walking in. For this reason a number of tables are held out to accommodate walk-ins.
We always get great food and service in a great environment.
Bethany’s Table is our go-to date place. It’s always delicious food with great service, nice ambience, yummy wine, and walking distance from home!
The food was excellent, but it was noisy occasionally.
The beef tenderloin special was amazing. The brussel sprouts side dish was blah. Extremely bitter. And didn’t taste broiled st all. Salad felt light on dressing, which my wife who only likes small amounts of dressing felt was even light for her.
Good otherwise, just disappointed in the sides.
Our experience is always good at Bethany's Table. The staff is always outstanding and the food is well prepared and always delicious. Their wine selection is broad and enjoyable to choose from.
My wife and myself planned a dinning date night at Bethany's Table this weekend. The experience was a very candy and quiet place, with an outstanding service, and a great gourmet dinner. We are planning to come back with some friends next time. Congratulations, and keep it up with the same talent.
We've been to Bethany's table many times and unfortunately there is always one dish served that is very poor. This time, one in our party order the tenderloin stroganoff. To say it was not worth the money would be an understatement. It came with ONE small piece of meet--very tough--and a very watery so-called sauce. It was as though someone in the kitchen had not fully prepared or prepped the dish before the waitress brought it to the table. The family-sized smokey rogue salad was equally unimpressive. And lastly, the dessert menu in long overdue for an update. It has remained as is for a long time; there are not any truly tempting choices. I think the restaurant is resting on its past reputation.
Our favorite restaurant on the west side. Excellent service and food is wonderful!
The food was excellent, the service was prompt. It was New year's eve so that explains the noise. (We've eaten there before and the noise level was considerably lower)
Wonderful in every way! The Food is outstanding! The service is great!
A wonderful option in Beaverton. The crab crostini and beef medallion with blue cheese mashed potatoes were great.
My husband and I love the food and the restaurant for dinner. We go there frequently. I would go with friends for lunch more often if the lunch menu had more seafood items. I would love to see sea scallops on the menu more often. I am enjoying the lobster that's on the menu. Thanks so much. Best food in the area.
First time in and it WAS a wonderful experience starting with the host, server, table wait help and owner! We finally made reservations to celebrate our Anniversary here. Glad i did! We ordered the frites, the clam mushroom appetizer, beef strogonoff and chicken marsala. All were delicious! To start off, they gave us complimentary Prosecco to help us celebrate. Towards the end of our dinner, the owner was taste testing wine for their new menu selection and poured me a glass of a red blend. Overall, the dining experience and food were delightful. The only thing that may have improved this evening was the wait time for food was a little longer than i expected. They were very busy for a Monday evening. I should have expected this for the day before New Years Eve. We will definitely be back and highly recommend! Cheers!
We were celebrating a friend’s birthday. The atmosphere is very pleasant and the food was very good...nice presentation & flavorful. Will definitely return!
Absolutely the best restaurant in Portland easily.
Very disappointed this time. Server was too busy flirting with other tables to pay attention to our table. Service was slow and honestly the food wasn't even very good. I've been going there for years, but this was indeed disappointing. Will be cancelling our reservation for New Year's Eve.
Fabulous as usual. While I’m a regular, the rest of my group we’re first timers and they all enjoyed. Neighborhood Gem!
It’s Christmas, so there were larger groups of people, and that meant loud. There were 4 of us. Two had delicious entrees- chicken and trout. Two had so so entrees- shrimp and beef stroganoff. The idea of a table sized Caesar salad was great.. but for 4 it was a bit small. The bread brought to the table was great. Service was wonderful.
A dog wandered through halfway through the meal and that upset two of the diners.
So overall a mixed evening.
Have always had good food & service at this wonderful little neighborhood restaurant. Found the food to be exceptionally good this time. Have a great winter menu. The cioppino was outstanding. Great bread. Nice wine list. Server was very friendly & efficient. Definitely recommend.
The service and food were acceptable , however not exceptional. I was disappointed that this was one of the highest rated restaurants by Open Table, thus the reason for our visit. The Tenderloin Stroganoff was uninspired, the Root Vegetable were anything but root vegetables. My N.Y. Steak was good, but again not exceptional. The chesf need to pay closer attention to seasoning the I would visit this restaurant again but only if I was in the area.
Fantastic food, fantastic service- it was all wonderful. I was thrilled that they were offering the tenderloin special with port reduction , roasted vegetables and mashed potatoes. It was spectacular. The other meals at the table were also delicious. We tried a new to us dessert, the chocolate soufflé with pistachio ice cream. It was amazing.
Did a lot of research on the restaurant as it was for my birthday meal, so was very excited to try it. The drinks didn’t come out until appetizer; my beef w/pasta was too salty service almost non-existent; all-in-all disappointing.
We had our office Christmas Party here and everyone loved their meals and ambience.
We continue to love Bethany's table and had a lovely meal there this past weekend. We were lucky enough to have Keri as our server, who is always so pleasant and genuine. She makes every meal there even better with her wonderful and attentive service. We plan to return again and again!
Great food, great service.
Great evening! Friendly staff! Yummy Food!
Nice little neighborhood place. I brought my friend there who used to live in the area, and didn’t even know it existed!
The atmosphere is very relaxed, looked like there were a few families and friends that visit this place regularly.
I ordered two items from their daily special - both soup and sandwich were delicious. My friend ordered entree salad that looked very good too. We both finished our lunch with pistachio affogato - best I’ve ever had anywhere. Overall very good value for casual meal.
Delicious lamb soup and shrimp with polenta.
I made a reservation for a party of 4 at 12:15. This was a bad idea because the place filled quickly after we sat down and service was very slow. We finally ordered drinks which were very slow. Then we finally ordered our lunch which was very slow. They should give some priority to those who make the trouble to have a reservation and serve them quicker.
My recommendation, because Bethany Table's food is very good, is to not come at lunch time. If you are flexible, come at 1:30 or 2. Next time I will.
Very good food and wine list. Wish they had more non-dairy options for dessert.
Love the place
We have dinner there a lot and enjoy the time there. The food and service is fantastic. Glad they are there. Great restaurant!!!!!
Kim our server was attentive, descriptive and awesome
I love Bethany’s Table. We go every year to celebrate my friends birthday. Can’t imagine going any place else. Btw, she said the fresh halibut was delicious!
No. I’m tired of filling out these forms. You have my rating. I’m done
We went for a relaxing dinner and we had a great time. There was a very rude patron that was the only bummer to the whole experience but once he left and the restaurant took a deep breath of fresh air after his toxicity we all enjoyed our dinner.
Great food every time we visit...my favorite spot to dine when coming to Portland from Bend!!!!
Service was great and the food was wonderful. I had grilled halibut it was perfection! I would say my only disappointment is in how close the tables are to your neighbor. They were however, nearly filled to capacity on a Tuesday night so I know they are trying to serve as many as possible. I know I was happy to have a table!
Always a nice neighborhood place to eat! Friendly, fairly quiet and the meals are delectable! My first choice for dining out!
The Manhattan drink is just the right balance of liquors and the wine pours are full!
The beet salad with cheese crumbled was a great start and the seafood pasta dish flavorful!
A good variety to choose from for dessert! Yummy!
