Good food, good drink, good ambience but they forgot my drink and our desert and were somewhat slow with getting food to the table

Excellent choice this week as we venture out to see new places every week- we loved it! And would definitely come back again!

We have eaten at Bethany’s Table several times, and always been quite pleased. This time we took advantage of Portland Dining Month and had a bit more limited selection from the menu. This gave us a chance to sample some other entrees. I had the ruby trout and my wife the chicken marsala. Both were very good. The marsala sauce was rich as it should be, and my lemon caper sauce went very well with the trout.
For the appetizer my wife had tomato basil soup, excellent. I had the Caesar salad. I felt that it lacked something, but it was good
We both had the butterscotch pudding. We have had it before, and we feel that this is their best dessert.
Service was its usual excellent and attentive. Dinner is not rushed.
We found that for Dining Month they did not skimp on portions as do other restaurants,
Overall, we keep going back.

The food quality at Bethany's Table is top-notch. From the delicious chicken masala to the well-appointed pantry board, the food is wonderful! I have dined at many places around the world, and Bethany's Table is one of the best restaurants that I have eaten at. The customer service is outstanding, and the atmosphere of the restaurant is warm and inviting. We love Bethany's Table and can't wait to dine there again!

The restaurant is a little dark, but the overall atmosphere is really good. The service was great. Our server was awesome. The food was perfect. We had a slight hiccup with one order, but we mentioned it and they fixed it instantly. The service is wonderful. Will be back again.

Food was excellent and really well prepared. Service was a bit slow, but it was a busy Saturday evening so that might have been why. But it's a nice place, so not bad to linger.

The food was good, appetizers were small portions for the price.. The service was horrible. Only one waiter from what I can tell for the entire restaurant. We had to track the waiter down several times and she only checked in once during our meal for a group of 4.

Always a great experience! Food was great, service was great, and we all enjoyed our meals (tough to do with a crowd of 8). Thanks so much for the continued fantastic experience!

Great lunches and atmosphere....Service is excellence and many choices, but prices are a bit expensive for lunch.

Great food as usual. Friendly, efficient service. Only issue we had was that there were a few families with small children who were rowdy & in 1 case, running throughout the restaurant. I appreciate that it is a neighborhood restaurant but parents need to be held responsible for their children’s behavior by the staff.

Bethanys Table is one of our favorite! Never had a bad meal and always good service! The lunch we went to had only one server and it really showed! It was a very busy day and it took too long to give our order, get our drinks and food not to mention paying our bill.

It won’t stop me from going back but I hope the scheduling will make sure there is enough staff!

Four of us went to Bethany's Table to celebrate our friend's birthday. I had never been there; the other three had. The service was good == I was particularly grateful that they were willing to exchange the wine that I ordered and didn't like. The food was excellent; two of the friends had pasta specials and the other two ordered off the menu. Appetizers were great -- nice to have a choice of how many you want to order. Having not been there before, I was a little surprised to find that it was in a shopping area. I guess I expected white tablecloths and such. Dessert came with a BD candle, which was a nice touch. I would go again!

Great to go to a restaurant in Bethany that can compete with anything in d ou wnt ou wn PDX. Wonderful to meet the owners and chef, Janet, and David. Good people!

Food was great. Service was outstanding at first but got forgotten later as the restaurant became more full. An acknowledgment/apology would have been appreciated.

Food and service is outstanding. But noise levels are higher than normal. It is hard to have or hear a normal conversation

We have been going to Bethany's Table for years and they never disappoint us. Due to the Valentine's Holiday, it was a little more congested than normal and service was slower for us than usual, but Chef Janet is spectacular. Highly Recommend!

It’s was very pleasant and loved the sincere service. We felt very welcomed and so thankful we chose this place to celebrate a special date night.

Food was pretty good overall, but not worth the prices.

I was disappointed when i showed up to find out that the menu was a flat fee - set menu for Valentine’s Day. I never received notification after i booked it - that i should expect such an evening. We eat there quite a bit and was really looking forward to a couple of our favorite dishes. Since we know the owners we didn’t feel comfortable leaving. Unfortunately, we spent way more money on food that we were not thrilled with. It was good - but disappointing.

Pros: Excellent food. Prix fix menu. Five courses. Delicious.

Cons: Service was slow. Two hours required for entire meal. Chairs weren't good enough for that. Restaurant was hot.

Valentines Dinner! Absolutely outstanding preset menu with many awesome choices! Everything was delicious! Had a wonderful time!! Chef/owner Janet is outstanding - and Dave is a character!!! Highly recommend this restaurant!

I just always enjoy Bethany's table. Easy access, friendly environment, David and Janet and their greeter dog - always fun and lively. The menu, specials for the day and the wine list never disappoint. Highly recommend. :)

Very slow service, had to flag waitress for assistance. Food was good however.
