Restaurants in Alsace traditionally have a formal main dining room as well as a casual dining room known locally as a weinstube or brasserie. At the brasserie, diners may enjoy traditional, hearty Alsatian dishes in a warm and relaxing atmosphere. These friendly establishments are immensely popular with Alsatians and visiting them is always the best part of my trips back to Alsace. I opened Jacques' Brasserie at L'Auberge Chez François to bring the tastes and comforts of the Alsatian brasserie to Great Falls.

La Piquette never disappoints: the branzino was flawless, and the service attentive and welcoming. It remains our favorite restaurant in DC and our go-to spot for everything from celebrations to casual dinners with friends and family.

Cafe: Colline is one of our favorite restaurants in Arlington. We are so lucky we are walking distance and can just enjoy dinner and stroll home. I highly recommend it. It’s definitely five stars.

Welcome to Chez Billy Sud, your classic neighborhood French bistro in the heart of historic Georgetown!

We accept reservations for dinner on a rolling 30 day basis. Reservations can be made for parties up to 6 guests for bistro dining. Our private dining room can be reserved for large parties (7-16 guests) by contacting our event coordinator at events@chezbillysud.com. For general inquiries, please contact us at info@chezbillysud.com.

Depending on the weather, our patio is available on a first-come basis. Please check with your host upon arrival for patio seating.

Our Bar à Vin (located right next door) is open for dinner and drinks 7 days a week and requires no reservations.

We had a memorable meal at Chez Billy Sud. The corn soup was amazing, as was a host cheese and fig spread. The Cobia fish excellent and chocolate hazelnut mousse divine. Six of us agreed it was among the best food in DC. Truly chef prepared with thoughtful touches that enhanced the meal. The service was excellent. Overall an unexpectedly delightful dining experience.

I’ve already commented but we normally go for lunch and yesterday went for early evening cocktails and appetizers. The evening staff were absolutely lovely, cocktails delicious and the pâté was fantastic. Such a great place.

This is a lovely French restaurant in the heart of Georgetown. Transport yourself to a rustic French Inn for incredible, authentic cuisine. The portions are generous and the wine list is exceptional. I look forward to returning soon!
