This is the spot for celebrating birthdays, anniversaries, company parties or if you are just in the mood to come out to enjoy a mouth-watering meal and amazing signature drinks. The focus for Executive Chef Aaron Weible is to maintain a scratch kitchen. Preparing everything daily from sauces to breads. Utilizing local area farmers for fresh vegetables and using our on-site herb garden. We take great pride in providing each of our guests a WOWing experience.

My party of three was passing through town on a business trip and googled restaurants near Defiance, OH, which resulted in Sweetwater Chophouse as an option. I made the reservation in the car, as we were 15 minutes out from the location. We were greeted and seated promptly. Our server Kathleen was very attentive and energetic with a readily infectious smile. I had the Crab & Lobster Bisque that was delightful, though the crackers were a bit stale. The Portobello Chicken was divine. The grilled char on the chicken with the creamy spinach sauce and mushrooms truly did hit the spot. My dining companions had the Salt Block Filet Mignon which he described as "Perfection on a Plate" and the Bourbon Chicken where nary a drop of sauce was left on the plate. Overall, our experience was enjoyable and should we find ourselves near Defiance, OH again, we shall visit Sweetwater Chophouse knowing a great meal will be had. As a final note, I do hope that our server, Kathleen, gets a huge shout out for above and beyond service and humoring us with our requests. Thanks Kathleen, You are a Rockstar!!

We had a business dinner at Claude's and shared a Seafood Tower along with some cocktails beforehand and wine with dinner. Our waiter was super friendly and efficient and everything we ordered was spot-on! I would highly recommend the seafood tower for 2-4 people to share. It had unique selections and generous proportions that were enjoyed by all. The desert round was also fantastic.

We chose Dave & Busters for a mini reunion with some family from out of town. It was a great choice. The food was very good and we followed that up with many games and prizes available to everyone, but especially the kids. We’ll definitely be going back!

I got the brisket and bacon burger and fries. The sandwich was delicious with a BBQ flavor and these were the best fries I've ever had. They were not soggy or extra crispy, but perfectly cooked. Then we got the pizookie triple chocolate for dessert which was amazing. This was our first time here, but we will definitely be coming back.
