Owner Elisa Marzano grew up in Vicenza, Italy, and consistently refers to these roots to design Marzano's unique yet classic menu. Once a quaint two-bedroom home, the restaurant was transformed but still keeps the rustic, home-like feel for an inviting, welcoming atmosphere. The pleasing combination of intimate lighting and natural window light make it the ideal spot for either lunch or dinner. A top menu choice is the boscaiola, which features a creamy tomato and Bolognese sauce over rigatoni pasta, topped with various spices and forest mushrooms. Was a Thursday night, only a few other guests on the restaurant. Had The blackened halibut on risotto with mango, was excellent. The waitress and bartender were great, a LOT of bourbons there, highly recommend if your a bourbon fan. Waitress was extremely knowledge and helpful.

We enjoyed a beautiful evening that started with delicious craft cocktails & an appetizer that comes with a great story told by Chef Josh. The entree selection is diverse & the salmon is some of the best I’ve ever had! Desserts are creatively put together. You would never know that a fine dining restaurant exists at BJs Casino, but it does! The room is decorated with art dedicated to Ms. Jane & is calm & relaxing. Service is attentive & they let you dine at your pace. We will definitely return to this Gem in Fife.

The servers are wonderful! The food is great and they give you good sized portions! They serve your orders quickly! Its my go to place when I want to eat out! It can be a little noisy. It is almost always busy.

A great place to celebrate a special day. All of our meals were delicious, from chicken, to steak, to seafood. Our waitress was cheerful, friendly, and helpful. We've never been disappointed here.

Drive in to Opera Alley and be transported. We strive to bring approachable food and beverage, a sense of comfort and community, as well as a unique and quality dining experience. We call ourselves a "cafe" in the sense that we are not pretentious and offer a fine dining experience in an atmosphere of comfort and respite.

Parking in Opera Alley, and downtown, can be a bit of a challenge, especially on the weekends, so please be sure to give yourself plenty of time when making reservations to find a parking space, or consider a night off from driving and get an Uber or Lift!! Eat good food often, break bread with friends and family, spend time with those you love, and we will see you soon.

This was our fifth or sixth visit over the past couple years. Consistently delicious, wonderful service and the best atmosphere. In my opinion, this is probably the best all around restaurant in Tacoma. Just be sure and make reservations.
