Mr. Baan’s Bar and Mookata is a place to gather and share unique cocktails, wine, and spirits while feasting on charcoal grilled Thai barbecue.

Mookata translates is “cook it yourself” barbecuing experience. It consists of a domed grill surrounded by a moat of broth, which is enriched by the drippings of the meat. A mookata set comes with various marinated meats, vegetables, eggs, and dippings sauces. Come enjoy Mookata on Mr. Baan's patio which has misters when it's hot or heaters when it's col.

Mr. Baan's is run by Yotaka and Alex Martin.

The service was second to none, and the cocktails were incredible. The best thing is that you don't kicked out after 90 minutes like most other cocktail bars in the Phoenix area. Not sure why that's a thing here.

It was very noisy inside but nice and quiet on the patio. The heavy duty misters kept it cool outside. The salad was nice and fresh, the salmon was excellent and they had a gluten free pasta for my husband.
