Cafe Momentumは釈放された青年犯罪者向けの有料インターンシップとして機能する非営利レストランで、拘留から釈放された青年がCafé Momentumの保護された環境の中で釈放後のプログラムに参加しています。Café Momentumでは、実社会での責任を育成し、安全に社会へと復帰するための重要な技術を青年に教えています。当プログラムに参加することで、リスクを持つ若者たちはテーブルへの給仕や皿洗いから正規のシェフとの共同作業までの全てのレストラン業務を体験します。有給インターンシップは青年に新しい技術の経験と実践の機会を与えます。またCafé Momentumでの仕事を続けている限り、青年はリーダーシップ、社会的なスキル、職業能力の発達を維持できます。さらにCafé Momentumでは、投獄のリスクが高いと思われる青年のためにダラス郡少年司法部門と提携しています。
