We were seated immediately by a courteous hostess. Lovely outside table. Server came to us and asked if we wanted Guacamole which we declined. This didn’t seem like the answer she wanted. We asked if we could order a beer for each of us which also didn’t seem like what she wanted to hear. We each ordered a beer and we ordered our dinner. We asked for the beers first as this was our anniversary dinner and hoped we could enjoy sitting outside and enjoy the evening. Server returned with our beers and frosted glasses and just as we poured our beers the food appeared. So much for leisurely dining. Food was delicious but everything was way too rushed.

I am a regular at Besito and usually always leave satisfied and pleased. However, the service this time around was terrible. The waiter seemed overwhelmed and overworked. Was going to escalate things to the manager however, decided not to in the moment. The food came out cold. It seemed like the food had been sitting in the kitchen for at least 15-20 mins before being served. It took the waiter at least 15-20 mins to bring the things requested. I have never experienced this at Besito. I am not sure if I would be coming back soon due to the poor service.

We were out to Besito to celebrate our friend's birthday. At the start of the meal, we asked the hostess to bring a candle with our dessert and sing happy birthday to our friend who we were celebrating with. She assured us that this would be done. It was not done. We ordered dessert for this reason only and the waitress brought the dessert without any mention of his birthday. After the meal, when we approached the hostess to question why our request was not accommodated, she was unapologetic insisting that "I did my job", pointing to where she wrote "birthday" on a screen. The manager came over and was also extremely rude- rather than simply being appropriate and apologizing for their neglect or mistake or miscommunication, he also insisted that she "did her job" and spoke extremely nastily to us. This is no way to treat good customers, especially when YOU made the mistake! We have never been treated so rudely by anyone in a restaurant and wanted to warn others before giving Besito your business. There are plenty of other restaurants around that treat their customers with respect! It's no way to end a meal.

Food and service were excellent. The Margheritas were all ice filled to the top of the glass and no Margherita. For the price they charge per drink you are better off getting a glass of wine that they can't mess up. I'm not one to send things back so my second drink was a glass of wine which was fine.

We always get the same thing: guacamole, enchilada suizas, street corn, and plantains. The guac was like it was made from a tube of avocado paste 😭, the enchiladas were lukewarm but the plates were very hot, and the sauce was watery?, why?, the corn was lukewarm and the plantains we took home because they were undercooked, they need a few minutes in the air fryer. We have NEVER had a meal like this at Besito. Is there a new kitchen staff? It was a Thursday, a busy night, no excuse for this. (The margarita and sangria were very good)

We have been big fans of Besito for years and are grateful for their lovely outdoor seating since we prefer not to sit inside due to Covid. The service was excellent, as always, and our server and the rest of the staff with whom we interacted were all lovely and gracious. It seems that there are fewer menu items than they've had in the past and there were no specials, which they usually have. Like most places, their prices have gone up. That being said, the food was very good, margaritas were great and we enjoyed a lovely. warm, spring evening dining outdoors.

We were a large party crammed into one of the booths. We were also in a part of the restaurant that had very little air circulation, so it was uncomfortably hot. A few people in our party specifically asked if dishes would be swerved with red or green sauce and were told green but then served red. Overall, we love Besito, but this particular visit was not our best experience.
