Besito has a new menu which, is VERY good. The previous menu did not necessarily need any changes, as they always had great food. It really shows that they are one of those places that reviews their offerings to make it better. Great stuff Besito, well done!

Loved this resto for years. Highly recommended. However the spinach quesadillas appetizer was disappointing.

Sadly I think the restaurant has declined! The waitress staff was not great. My food came out with small flies coming out of it!! I thought I was crazy but then both my husband and I caught one of the nats. We called over the waitress. The manager came over very apologetic but said they probably came from outside but no they were coming out of my salad. They did comp my meal but would have preferred better service and clean food!

I've dined at Besito twice before, once for dinner and once for lunch. Both times the food was very good and the service was indifferent at best. However, this time, the food was poor, portion sizes small, and the service was willfully bad. The experience was off-putting from the start - with the check-in where the hostess walked off after acknowledging my name on the reservation without saying anything, walked over to the person who would be our server, whispered something in his ear, had a back and forth with him, they looked over at us, and finally he shrugged and reluctantly walked over to take us to our table. Once at the table, the server did nothing to actually engage with me or my sister. Asked if we wanted a drink or guacamole. My sister wanted to look over the drink menu, and I asked for a N/A beer thinking that would be a quick turnaround. 15 minutes later he returned and it just got worse from there. When asked to describe certain dishes it was like pulling teeth. Never told what the taco special of the day was, had to ask. At one point, when we were waiting to place our order our server was goofing off with another server playing with a hand fan. The manager was witness to this and to my very focused attention on the horseplay trying to get his attention but did not ever come over to our table. We ordered guac and queso fundido to start. The guacamole portion was ridiculously small for the price and the queso fundido was good, but served with an insufficient amount of tortillas. My sister had a shrimp dish where I think the shrimp were maybe fried? but were hard as rocks and had an unpleasant flavor. I had the taco special which was carnitas. 2 small tacos which immediately fell apart because they'd obviously been sitting on the pass for some time before they were brought to the table and the tortillas were insufficient to the amount of grease seeping through. I will never patronize this restaurant again and highly recommend to avoid.

We have been dining at Besito for years and noticed they made some stylistic updates to their dining experience! We loved the new presentation of some of our favorite dishes. The service was amazing and food was great! We will definitely be back.
