Besito Mexican - Chestnut Hill
Very friendly service and great food.
Fun night out with tasty food
Ambience was great
Food was great
Service was great
Frequent diners. I’ve never been pestered so much as we were by our server in Sunday evening. We were still drinking our cocktails and he was rushing us , kept coming by to see if we were done eating . Then dropped check at our table . Never asked if we wanted coffee or dessert . My friend actually ended up ordering a coffee. Again we felt rushed , coming by for the bill . I was till finishing my cocktail and my friend was still drinking her coffee . Still never asked if we wanted dessert. Also our server came over to remove our plates while carrying another customers dirty plate AND proceeds to place the dirty plates on top of ours while they are in front of us at our table . I have never seen this done. It was rude and quite disgusting . We always have a pleasant experience except for this past Sunday .
Fantastic as always. Great Margaritas that aren’t made with cheap pre made mix. Good mezcal selection. Tacos are fantastic (iron skillet mixtos). Service exceptional as well.
Food was delicious! It was pricy for the portion size, though.
Service was good- food was bland. We had to ask for salt and pepper and had one taco dish we thought stood up to the price and the flavor expectations with mexican/Latin American food.
We have come to Besito many times. We had a reservation for 8 pm. But no table was ready when we arrived. The ladies at the front did not seem to really care. They just said to come back and check with them. We were placed at a table that was too small for a party of 3. The food was pretty good, but the service was inconsistent. Seems like Besito is not adequately staffed on Saturday night.
My wife and I like the food at Besito. The staff are friendly and helpful.
Our server, Luis, was absolutely great. Handled every request perfectly and was very pleasant and warm.
As per usual, another great time at Besitos.
I love this restaurant! for authentic Mexican food I highly recommend this place. Service is always exceptional.
Children’s appetizer missing, no churros after paying the bill anymore?!
Always amazing. We will be back very soon.
Had a great time and enjoyed the food. Great service.
My wife and I always enjoy this place, we love the Mexican ambience and the worry dolls. The service is always excellent, my wife tried the fish special tonight and was outstanding. We definitely we’ll be back soon.
Loved everything about it. Great food, service and ambiance. Highly recommend if your looking for an authentic Mexican meal
Amazing food, service and dog friendly patio! Perfect fall night!
The food was delicious!! The Ambiance was nice well. Great place for intimate dinner with family and friends. Great place for a date night as well, very romantic!
Besito Chestnut Hill is ok. Three of us went for dinner. Each had one drink, Iron Skillet chicken taco plates ($19.95), and we shared guacamole ($12.95) and a side of Street Corn ($6.95). Guacamole is chunky and delicious. Flour and corn tortillas are warm and great. Iron Skillet chicken is forgettable (chicken strips in too much cheese), as is Street Corn (frozen corn cooked in a pan with a little chile and queso fresco). Service was fine. Server takes your order, and food is brought out as it's ready. With 20% tip, it was $51 per person, pricey for Mexican food, but it is located in a fancy mall location. Friends liked it. I thought it was ok, but have had much better Mexican food for less money. I'm not rushing to go back.
Our waiter was great, food and drinks are always delicious. I highly recommend this place.
We enjoyed a wonderful birthday celebration at Besito, from the matradees to our server everyone went above and beyond to provide great service. The food was delicious and the ambiance as perfect for a gaggle of girls to catch up!
Wonderful service and yummy food!
We had a great time, the food was delicious and the service was awesome.
service was slow; ordered the ribs which were dry; ordered "tableside" guacamole, medium spicy: not tableside and was missing any jalapeño peppers
Kind of a disappointment
Delcious food, appealing and enjoyiable
Delicious, with warm service!
Never disappoints! Been several times and can always count on a delicious dish
Always a warm tableside welcome and delightful options at Besito! I always leave happy and looking forward to the next visit. ¡Hasta luego, amigos!
Excellent service. The guacamole made at table side was outstanding. My skillet tacos pastor were fresh and good if a little under seasoned.
The Guacamole was excellent, but I was disappointed with the rest of the meal. The fish in the Fish Taco appetizer ($12.95 for two little tacos) was not hot and didn't have much flavor, the Ceviche special was strangely sweet, as if it had sugar in it, and the Classic Margarita cocktail ($11) was quite weak. We were celebrating a birthday and the restaurant brought out a free piece of tres leches cake for dessert, which was very kind of them, but the waitress never returned with the promised spoons and we finally had to go looking for some. There are so many other delicious-sounding options on the menu, it may be we just ordered the wrong things. I will definitely give it another try.
Excellent service, great food, never disappoints. Clean restaurant, cloth napkins.
My third time at the restaurant and my friend and I had a great lunch - love the guacamole!!
My family and I have been going to Besito for a while now and we always love it. The food is amazing the service is incredible the wait staff and mangers and hosts are amazing and very respectful. It is a great place for birthdays anniversary’s and family gatherings.
Excellent service and the special fish of the day was outstanding. Visit every time up in the Boston area.
First time dining here. My boyfriend is Mexican so he recommended it. The food was great. The only strange thing was the wait staff refusing to serve us 4 drinks at the same time as they said there was some law that meant 3 people could not drink 4 drinks at the same time. Very bizarre.
Overall very enjoyable and will go back for sure
I used to love their tortilla soup but it seems like the recipe changed because I was very disappointed. The soup was heavy on the tortillas with very little chicken and the broth lacked flavor.
A glass of sangria I ordered was extremely watery. As expected that any adult brother it will come with eyes however there was really little sangria and mostly ice cubes Which has not been in line with my past experiences.
I’m not sure of the restaurant under new management however it did not live up to previous experiences and I’m doubtful if I will return.
