Valentines Day Dinner. The tables were slightly crowded to accommodate more people which limited conversation.
Big turn off to walk in and see a sanitation score of 90%. Obviously I wouldn't want it hidden but the fact that it exist is a problem.
This is the second time in the past two weeks that I have eaten at Bernardin's, and the food was excellent. I have had the clam chowder, grilled chicken salad, and the grilled chicken fettuccine - all were solid and top shelf. The setting is very intimate, and it is perfect for a great lunch date or special occasion. The staff is very attentive and are quick to serve refills and extra bread as needed. The meal arrived perfectly each time, and the portions were just right for lunch. I was full and did not need a to go bag. In addition, the service was so well paced that the experience fell in line with the time that I had for lunch.
Wonderful Experience. Looking forward to returning
Count on Bernadin’s to impress! Food and drinks were fabulous... our party was too large for the window booth but kudos for the hostess giving it a try. Maria was the perfect... patient server. We will be back soon!
We had a great time, the service was great. The food was wonderful.
Great waiter. Was extremely attentive and knowledgeaknowledgeable. Good was good. I had the EMU. Was well prepared.
food was excellent. Service was marginal. Seemed like the waitress had too many tables. Understaffed.
It was a very good experience there. Will definitely be back.
My husband and I were very pleased with the service and our meals. We were going to a concert across the street after dinner so our waiter made sure our drinks and meals came as quickly as possible. We will definitely be returning.
Fabulous food and service in an unpretentious environment with plenty of ambiance.
My wife and I surveyed the area online to decide where to eat before a show at the Knight theater. Based on the menu and the reviews, we decided to try Bernardin's especially since it is literally right across the street. We loved the ambience and James, our waiter, was perfect in orienting us through the offerings. Both the spring roll and the sea scallops appetizers were succulent and delicious. For the entree, we both settled on the Grilled Emu , since we had never had the pleasure. Mind blown! The cranberry madeira sauce was the perfect complement and made the meal memorable. I can't wait to find another excuse to drop in so that I can work my way through the extremely diversified menu and have another Blackberry Collins. I would highly recommend the experience to anyone who truly appreciates a night of fine dining.
They gave us a great table without us having to do anything special for it. It was a nice night.
I had the Emu, it was amazing! My friend had the curry tofu and loved it. The cucumber cocktail was awesome too. Always look up at the table at the top, there always seems to be a celebrity there!😉
