   Always a wonderful experience. I try to visit at least once per year, and it is consistently top notch. I've been to a couple higher-end ($75-$100 pp) restaurants in Charlotte in the last year and neither was as nice as Bernardin's. From the time I discovered them over 8 years ago, they have remained at the top of my preference list - from food to staff to ambience to price - there isn't another place in the city like this one.

   The lobster ravioli is a signature dish - and it was delicious. The pepper crusted filet was a disappointment. I do not believe there was any pepper on the meat, or any seasoning at all. The garlic mashed potatoes had no seasoning. They needed salt and garlic. I wonder if it was real potatoes, because there wasn’t a potato flavor. It was cooked to temp - I asked for medium rare, and that was a plus. The rosemary jus saved the day. It was wonderful! I did eat everything. However, except for the jus, my entree made a very bland meal. The wait staff was fantastic. It was just two of them and they worked the dozen or so tables superbly. This is our second time to Bernadin’s. I love the intimate and casual feel, but both times I felt some of the entrees were off the charts spectacular and others decidingly basic.

   We totally enjoyed our dinner last night. The beet salad, Ceasars salad, seared ahi tuna, and duck breast were perfect. The portions are large and reasonably priced. My only suggestion is to do something to make the entry and bar more inviting. It's a dim room w no ambiance, especially when no one is there to greet you. We'll be back.

   RJ did an excellent job ensuring an amazing dining experience! The wine 🍷 was incredible. The service outstanding. The food and dessert were delicious! Such an OUTSTANDING experience. Thank you!

   The food was over the top delicious. The service of Lia and staff was impeccable. It has bedome our favorite restaurant. Well done.
