It took 45 minutes to get our salads and 1 hour and 15 minutes to get most of our main dishes, but one of the dishes came out 1 hour and 25 minutes after everyone else's. The waitress never apologized for the delay. Then the food was pretty mediocre. Disappointing dinner to say the least.

Food was excellent. My husband had the bone-in ribeye and I have the filet. My mom had the lobster fazzoletti. We all cleaned our plates. Wine list is extensive and excellent though slightly overpriced. For being an Italian restaurant- the steaks were fantastic.

Always amazing food and and service. I dare say that it’s the best Italian in the OKC metro area. Worth the drive for us down to Norman. Excellent wine selection by the glass, and by the bottle. A nice mix of higher end meals and old staples. I will say our 7 year old loved it, but there wasn’t a child menu or kid favorites like Alfredo. But she got the sphagetti and meatballs and was very happy with her selection. Pizza is also a good choice for the kiddos.

Middle of the road on everything. Weak under saturated Caesars, decent meatballs, frozen in a box calamari, veal parmigiana was very spicy, tiramisu was served in a cup and lady fingers were very stale, they had about 50 people crammed in an area for maybe 30. I dont understand how this place is rated so well. We drove from Edmond to try it but I wished we had just gone to Pepperoni Grill because it's much closer and significantly better.

Everything about our dinner on Friday, Feb. 10, was a plus. We were seated immediately, our waiter was very friendly, kept a watchful eye on our booth without hovering, and knew the wine list enough to recommend one of two bottles we were considering. Our appetizers, salad, and main dish, were top notch. This is our going out to dinner favorite restaurant.

I must have come to Benvenuti’s more than 100 times in the last 15 years, and almost every time the food has been outstanding, but on this occasion, my wife and I were very disappointed with the food. We were disappointed to be served overtly and visibly burnt Fornarina for one dish, and to be served ravioli which tasted of reheated and non-fresh pasta. I have taken both dishes many times before, since as a vegetarian my choices are limited. So I know what these Benvenuties dishes taste like. On Feb 8th, they were disappointing. On a separate note, we would visit much more often if Benvenuties chose to occasionally offer some variation in their menu. Their menu has not changed in the last 15 odd years.
