This is a great restaurant. The pot roast is outstanding and the salmon is to die for.
The place was very busy for dinner but a greeter met us at the door and was helpful getting us a table. I highly recommend the mushroom soup, pork chop, and bison pot roast. They were large servings which meant we had a wonderful lunch the next day. They have a nice list of wines for reasonable prices. Overall you can have a very nice dinner for $25-$40.
Wife's food was great, I wished I had ordered the same thing. Mine, the meat was a little tough and not what I was expecting for stroganoff (long egg noddle's) . Next time I think I will bring my own fork, the whole meal was a challenge just to get the food to my mouth. The forks are not bent but they are not weighted right either. I don't like holding my fork as a club.
As always, Bent Fork provided a wonderful evening to celebrate my wife's birthday.
Stumbled upon this restaurant trying to make last minute Valentine’s reservations and we were beyond pleased. The ambiance was perfect, the staff was very friendly and helpful, the drinks were great, and the food was unique and absolutely delicious!!!! I would highly recommend this establishment and we will make this a regular place for date nights.
Great selection of appetizers, salads, and entries. The desserts are wonderful. Service was outstanding! I would eat there again.
Other than the day old(rock hard)bread that was served prior to main course, overall high marks for dinner.
We had not been here for quit a long time, and were all very surprised at how nice of a place it is to eat and what great food and service they had. We will go back a lot sooner!!!!
Really enjoyed our dinner. The veggie options were very good, they had a great beer selection, and the service was great!
This restaurant actually had pretty good reviews. But much like the bulk of restaurants in Colorado this place had good reviews with food that didn't match up. My boyfriend and I went here for my birthday dinner because it was named one of the best restaurants in Loveland. Do not be fooled. Its only because there are about ten restaurant in Loveland to begin with. Anyway we got the cracked black pepper fondue. I am not going to lie but it was probably the best thing we had all night. However the minuscule amount of bread and pita to go along with it was a joke. Onto our main courses. I got the squash pappardelle pasta... big mistake. The pasta looked awesome. Yet it tasted like NOTHING. Please tell me how pasta in a pesto sauce can be utterly flavorless ?! Salt was but a mere lost thought in this pasta.. let along any other seasoning. The best thing on my plate was my garlic bread. My boyfriend got prime rib. His meat was okay. The majority of his prime rib was really just a nasty fatty piece of meat. His sides all had no seasoning on them as well. Lastly we got the seasonal cobbler. It was a berry blend. It sounded great. But it honestly was a bunch of frozen fruit thrown into a ramekin with oatmeal thrown on top and it was tossed into an oven. There was no cobbler aspect to this dessert and yet again it tasted like nothing. If you have taste buds and you enjoy a taste and satisfying meal I would completely by pass this restaurant.
The menu has changed since my last visit and some of my favorites were missing although some of the new items looked good. My favorite cocktail is no longer offered which was a great disappointment. Service is very good and we were seated promptly. Portions are large and the special fish of the day was excellent. Tends to be a little noisy but you could usually hear the other person at the table with you. Will probably go back since it is convenient and has a nice atmosphere.
Great place for a date!
Server didn’t write it down so orders were a little wrong.
It was my first time at this restaurant. I was dieting and had a great salmon lunch. The rest of the family had great meals too ranging from hamburgers, fish & chips, and pasta. I’ll go again even though it is 55 miles from where I live.
We went to the Bent Fork for my daughter's birthday party. She absolutely loves the mushroom soup on the menu and we weren't disappointed. The service has always been very friendly and accommodating. We love the food and the friendly service steals the show. Definitely would recommend to anyone.
Awesome as usual!
Nice place. Good food. Interesting décor. Eclectic menu not your usual fare.
Enjoyed the visit and will return. We sat in the bar then moved to our seating. The staff was very friendly.
Not super impressed. Would probably not go back, but was nice how many GF options they had.
Went here for date night. We got seated right away. Waiter was very nice. They have a lot of gluten free options, and the waiter was knowledgeable about celiac disease, which is like a breath of fresh air! Food came out quick and tasted great. Everything is reasonably priced. We had a great time. Would recommend. The gluten free peanut butter pie is amazing!
Had a great meal. Recommend the stuffed pork chop. Delicious
My husband and I went here on New Year's Day for dinner. We had excellent steak, coffee and dessert. We were given a gift card for BentFork or we probably would not have gone there due to the prices. It is a nice place for special occasions such as birthdays or anniversaries.
Was great as normal, but our waitress didn't check in much the manger did instead.
Maybe there has been a change in chefs, but it seems like the quality/taste of meals has dropped in the past several months. Still a decent place to go with a wide variety of choices on the menu.
Service was excellent. The food was very good. We will go back again.
Good food and service, pricey. I fell in their bathroom due to a large puddle of water and injured myself. I told the Hostess who acted like she already knew about the water, still recovering over a week later.
We chose Bent Fork for our office Holiday Luncheon. Our table was ready at our reservation time and our server was very attentive and friendly.
Food was good but not amazing. Seemed a bit over-priced for portion and tastiness of the food.
The service was excellent, however, the rib eye was a bit chewy.
Good food and service. Staff was very helpful for my wife’s birthday. We received the requested table that was perfect! Food was very well presented, prepared and timely. Great evening!
Went for anniversary. Food and service was great but would have preferred most intimate seating. We were seated in the meeting room.
The food is just mediocre. They seem to do very little seasoning, so if you like bland tasting food you’ll like this restaurant.
Food was very good and a good value. Great wine selection. Did take a while for our server to come to our table initially. After that delay service was good.
This place has lots of options on the menu. The staff has always been friendly and efficient. I wasn’t overwhelmed by anything. It’s good. Not great or wow but good.
I went to Bent Fork with my mother when dropping her off for a conference in Loveland (We're in Denver.) and she wanted to feed me for making the drive. (YAY. ;) ) I generally like playing OpenTable Roulette when we're in a new area, and we actually have a Bent Fork in Denver- but I'd never been. They have really great options whether you're making it a special occasion or trying not to spend too much. Service is really friendly and they even sat us a little sooner than our reservation because I did not gauge how quickly we'd find the restaurant. Food was delicious and tasted really fresh. I had the short rib tacos, but will be coming back to try the Stroganoff. We'll be back whenever we're up in the area, and will be sure to make the visit to the Denver/Aurora location as well.
They take good care of the food and the drinks are excellent.
Great food and excellent service. We love it at the Bent Fork !!
Nice place. Only concern is you may feel rushed. We intentionally asked to bring appetizer before we ordered main. Appetizers came within 3 minutes. Ordered main & hadn't finished appetizer when dinner showed up. Get the sense of being rushed to turn table.
Bent Fork is a place we always go back to, especially for special occasions. Their menu is creative and always changing, but they keep some favorites from menu to menu. (I do miss the mac & cheese with the jalapeno elk sausage.) Service is always great, as is the atmosphere.
On this visit, our food was late, because the manager saw the ribs on our plate under the heat lamp and said, "You can't serve those." So they explained to us about the delay, and they cooked up a new plate of ribs for my wife, and they cooked up a completely new entree for me as well. Then the manager came by to make sure that the new ribs (and my entree) were okay. You can't beat service like that. Our waitress was alert and attentive, and the entire staff were friendly and personable.
Must of been an "off" night for the Bent Fork. Food was marginal at best, service was awful (asked multiple times for this one appetizer, it never came but wasn't on the bill; check came before we ordered dessert so we got our sweets someplace else). Can't say I'm going back anytime soon.
