Bent Fork Grill - Aurora Ratings and Reviews
This restaurant was a lucky find... and outstanding. The food was excellent and delivered in a timely fashion. I had the new mexico ribeye sandwich(amazing and my wife had the ribeye tacos (equally amazing. Unfortuneately we were just visiting the area or it would become a weekly stop. If you are ever in the area definitely go to Bent Fork Grill.
Bent Fork is a real gem located in an unlikely place. This was our third visit to the Bent Fork. Our server (Jeremiah) was the nicest, most professional wait person we have experienced in a long time. So refreshing to have a exceptional waiter at a time when many wait staff in Denver are just going through the motions. Beside the service, the food at Bent Fork is also very, very good. We had the cauliflower wings, black and blue salad and the bison meat loaf. All three was delicious, the right temperature, the right portions and just so good! We will definitely be a regular at the Bent Fork and appreciate having such good cuisine close to home.
We had a wonderful evening. Our server, Sonya was great and we will ask for her when we return. The Black and Bleu pasta was amazing!!! A fair warning though, it can be a bit oily due to the nature of the dish...
Also the peach sangria was delish :)
Our friend ordered the salmon and it was cooked perfectly...such a treat.
Our only complaint would be the ribeye. My husband ordered this and it was overcooked and served in kind of an awkward plate presentation. Definitely not what he expected and he was disappointed. He'll try the prime rib next time.
We will definitely be back with friends and family.
This was our first visit to the Bent Fork. I was expecting a typical grill-based menu. However, I was pleasantly surprised to find a number of offerings you don't normally find on a neighborhood grill menu, e.g. a Strawberry, Brie & Chicken Salad, Mahi Mahi Tacos, Seared Ahi, and more. It was a Friday night and they were busy. The bar was hopping. I'm glad we had a reservation. We were sat at a quiet table by a window. The ambiance was quite pleasant; a dark wood theme. The service very good as was the food. I had the Asian Fried Chicken with scalloped potatoes and grilled Brussel sprouts. It was a nice twist on a comfort food classic. My spouse had the Buffalo Pot Roast. She loved it. All in all, it was a very pleasant experience. We'll go again if we are ever back in the Denver area.
Bent Fork Grill has very friendly staff that greet you with a smile even if you are running a little behind on your reservation. The food tastes good and the portion size is great for people who like good food as well as value for money. The restaurant has easy parking which is always nice on a night out.
We had a 5 pm reservation for 5 people. The hostess seated us in a side room which was nice and quiet and had no other customers at the time. Then it seemed like they forgot us, until a young lady came rushing in, seemingly apologizing for not knowing we were in that room. Next a young man ( Deshawn)came to say that he would be our server. He was very efficient and friendly. From that point on, everything went well.
I previously submitted a review for this restaurant in total error. I was actually thinking of another restaurant which I dined at on May 31 and tried to book through Open Table but was unable to get it done. The Bent Fork was actually very good on every category and I will surely be returning there. I apologize for that error.
We flew in from California for the weekend, visiting Colorado relatives. At the last minute, on a Saturday evening, we needed a table for 10 in the vicinity of Aurora. We just happened upon the Bent Fork Grill (online), and they were able to fit us in for 7:30 p.m. What a GREAT treat this place was ! The food was VERY good, and the service (DeShawn) was incredible....just the perfect waiter. Whenever we return to Colorado, we will without a doubt be back to this restaurant.
We absolutely love the Bent Fork. The food is always top notch and we've never had anything we didn't love. Never. We went for mother's Day dinner last Sunday and the food was fabulous. The one thing that has never happened before was horrid service. This is hardly worth a review when truly the food is amazing but our server had no idea what she was doing. My mother and brother both I ordered club soda with lime. My brother gets a club soda with a lemon and my mother gets a speite with a lemon. The server then tells us that they are out of limes which is very odd for 415 reservation on Sunday. So we told her that my mom received Sprite instead of a club soda and so she comes back with another sprite. No lemon this time. So we call the hostess over and tell her and she brings my mother a club soda with a lime. Very odd. I was never asked if I wanted another drink which I did and I had to ask for water a couple of times. But like I said, this is very unusual and if you're looking for great food look no further! Out of the many times I've been to this restaurant I had one time with quirky service otherwise this place is absolutely amazing!
We first found out about this place at the Mac n cheese fest. So we decided to check out their full menu when my mom was in town visiting. TOTALLY WORTH IT! Ambiance was nice, service was fantastic, and the food was phenomenal. We all ended up sharing our plates with each other and couldn't decide what we liked best. The lobster mac n cheese was to die for. I would recommend this place to everyone! I can't wait to have another excuse to treat myself to dinner, because I'll be back here again in a heartbeat. The rest of the night, while sitting in our food comas, everyone kept repeating how they couldn't believe just how good it all was.
