Bent Fork Grill - Aurora Ratings and Reviews
On business travel and staying last night at the airport hotel. We “found” this little gem last trip and retuned for our second time. The menu has a good variety and the service is friendly and prompt. I have had a different pasta dish each time and thoroughly enjoyed both. Salmon blt and salmon ish and chips were a hit with colleagues. Looking around at other tables all the food looked great. Obviously a neighborhood gem, it’s located in a nondescript strip mall but don’t be fooled. About 15 minutes from the airport. Highly recommend.
We have been frequenting The Bent Fork for several years and absolutely LOVE this place! We have never had a meal we didn't like, the staff & wait staff are GREAT!! Wonderful neighborhood Bar/Restaurant!! Our friends we dined with loved the Fork as well! We would always recommend dining at the Bent Fork to family, friends & strangers👍🤗!!
P.S. The only way I could like it more would be if you brought back that FABULOUS Reuben sandwich!!!
Surpisingly great food, at a restaurant in a shopping strip. I had a pork chop with great spicy chutney sauce, accompanied by flash-fried brussel sprouts and a delicious potato side. My wife had a fish dish. Both were truly outstanding. Far better than expected. We would definitely come back next time we're in town.
The Bent Fork Grill always had a large selection of interesting creations and traditional dishes. Have been to the Loveland location as well and always had well prepared, flavorful food with plenty of variety available to please most everyone's tastes. Quality, well prepared, and flavorful food are the most important elements to me, and I was not disappointed here. Also, my date was hot.
My wife and I had eaten there before, so recommended for a group of friends. Each one was complimentary of the atmosphere and of the food. Our server was very attentive to our party of 7. I would plan another group meeting there as well as a nice dinner out with my wife.
I am on a work trip with four people and my hubby suggested this place after some research. I needed something close to the office and the hotel (4 mins from both). The staff was friendly and our waiter DeShawn was excellent. He could intelligently explain the food to us. The entrees ranged from $15-$30 which is very reasonable. We had the lobster mac & cheese which was described as spicy and did have a kick. Another was the ribeye with their own rub. I tasted a piece and it felt like the flavor was dancing on my tongue - very good and perfectly grilled. The next was a half Cobb Salad which was still huge and she said was delicious. I personally had the Butcher's Cut which was a short rib with a bordelaise sauce over mashed and seasonal veggies. I really don't cook with salt so the first bit was a little salty but overall it was excellent. It was a good portion so no one had dessert. We had one round of drinks and dinner and the bill was ~$100+. Excellent choice if you are in the area
Awesome place to eat. The service was amazing even with our waiter training. They are very informative about the menu and was not afraid to tell us what gets sent back the most when I asked what was good. The prices are very good. I got the prime rib with potatoes and it was easy to tell that all the food was made from fresh ingredients. I would recommend this place to anyone.
Bent Fork was ok, nothing special just mediocre. Certainly there is a misalignment with cost vs. Quantity, this was the first and only time we have made a stop for food on the way home from a restaurant. For example a Cheese and Fruit plate we ordered actually had 1/2 strawberry and 3 slices of soft apple with a few slices of cheese and crackers. My biggest concern was being interrupted no less than 6 times to hand plates and dishes to the wait staff.
Bent Fork in our experience was a disappointment..an expensive disappointment.
I was very surprised and delighted with the beauty of the building and atmosphere inside.
I met a friend for dinner and the staff was friendly and professional. The food was very good and it was nice to have a quiet place to catch up and dine, rather than have an ordinary maintenance meal. I will definitely go back!!!
Honestly, I'm in the middle on this restaurant. Despite having a reservation, we were seated in the smallest table against a wall even though there were several 4 tops available in the middle. Service was fine. Our server was polite and food came out quickly. I really enjoyed the lobster mac'n'cheese, but felt the additional spice on top really over did it. The steak was okay, but was very underdone on one half (fine on the other, not sure how that happens). They could use more side options too. The flourless chocolate cake was good, but would have been better without the icing and possibly with some fruit and the creme brulee was good. It wasn't a bad experience overall, but I don't think we'll be giving them a second chance.
Halfway through my meal I lifted my steak so I could finish the rest of the scalloped potatoes under the steak. Lo and behold a fly escaped that had been trapped underneath my steak. It must have been on the potatoes in the kitchen and then the cook put the steak on top of it. When the manager came to my table to apologize, he admitted they have a fly problem in the kitchen. I'm going to contact the health department because they seem unable to control their fly situation. I gave one star to the restaurant because this system would not let me give them zero.
