We sat outside on the pier overlooking the beach as the sun was setting. Our server was really friendly, knowledgeable and attentive. The food was very good but I was a bit surprised at the cost. They were out of our first choice entree and the beer selection was underwhelming but overall the experience was very good.

Celebrating hubbies 60th this week. Always come to Delray in January and always wanted to come to Bennys! Took the coastal road down and the whole experience was lovely. My hubby got a NE bake with a Maine lobster! Soooo much food! Tuna steak a ka plancha was perfectly rare! And our pup got a ridiculous hotdog... scooby doo was the notation in the Bill! The view, the service! Outstanding and we will be back! Thank you!!!

Crab cakes excellent but nit worth price with no sides
Rather go to another restaurant fir the same food

I like Benny's but this time around something didn't work.
Mojitos were not fresh made, tasted like syrup or ready made mix, and the Pescado Frito was missing some salt.
Appetizers scored well, Calamari, although the corn starch makes it a bit too crunchy and the chips and Gauc mash were on point.
Josh, our server was top of the line and the atmosphere makes up a bit for any fumbles.

breakfast, lunch and dinner and recommend it for any of the three!

New menu is much better than before. Fish tacos were excellent.

Wish the weather was warmer. People were in the water. Nice deck, watched a surprise engagement on the beach. Benny's while your chairs look nice the sit very low, and are extremely uncomfortable. Please reconsider your choice of seating and being able to comfortably eat. Food was amazing, large portions and beautifully presented. Our waiter was fun.

So you come here for the view. Tables were closer outside than expected. Food options were plentiful however a tad pricey. Food overall was average, not craving anything to come back for. We ordered the captains platter(mostly fried stuff). Clam strips were mostly breading. Shrimp were decent and breaded. The pollack was the best part of this, fritters ok and the fries were pretty good. We then ordered and split for 3 people the ultimate seafood paella (80 bucks). Plenty of food, could use more seafood in it for the price, scallops, clams, rice, chicken, chorizo - overall filing but a bit bland. They tout a celebrity Chef there so i guess my expectations were a bit higher. I’d go here again for a quick drink, light lunch or snack if i was in the area near the beach but pass on another dinner experience.

Yes, the food was very good however alittle over priced .. I had 2 crab cakes at $29, a regular margarita at $18. Parking was a tricky in a very poorly lit area. And was brought a glass with lipstick remnants. Our server was very slow yet we felt rushed.... I believe this place is better for breakfast/lunch not dinner. I love being outside and on the beach but this dinner experience was mediocre at best.

We made a dinner reservation and when we got there instead of a table we were seated at a hightop. We were not late. We had arrived on time.
It took more than 1 1/2 hours to get our food from the time we ordered. They did comp our first round of drinks. The manager/wait staff came by a few times and apologized for the delay in getting our food.
The food was good. I've eaten at Benny's before but only during the day. I never had this type of experience before during the day.

Outside dining on pier overlooking beach and ocean with indoor dining option as well. Real, high quality seafood dishes (not your typical seafood chain restaurant quality food) in a welcoming come as you are environment. Excellent dinner special choices for the seafood lover.

Our family had a wonderful experience and our meal was delicious! Our waiter was awesome!

Not a big fan from having other meals pre covid. The view is priceless however, wish it was a fast food place because the food is not consistent or great. When you want to change what is being ordered slightly when staff says sorry kitchen won’t change etc etc. I told him go ask not busy and not big deal to remove something.
My kid wanted regular coke and I said no he isn’t having coke caffeine the waiter actually said to kid sprite then no thanks waiter asking kid again about coke. I had to tell a waiter who is adult I am the parent please don’t ask my child I said no.

I watched our waiter walk passed picked up his shoe and wipe with bare hand something off his shoe and then not washing hands brought plates to my table

Other staff in the outside kitchen area busboy area and entry/exit into kitchen area not one person the entire time wages hands coming in and out with food etc
Many staff had masks below chin and didn’t seem to care at all when dealing with or close by customers.

The meal close to $100 no alcohol was a waste of money

Wish I truly could have had a better experience but for this hard working customer didn’t feel like anyone cared about anyone health

However overall beautiful night out with my kid and that was the best part

When telling the lovey apologetic ladies at front of restaurant could not have been nicer and not happy about this either

Never again will I go back.

Especially when other places are truly doing above and beyond everything to keep staff and customer as safe as possible

Very attentive waiter. Very good service. Food was outstanding. I had the crispy snapper. The waiter told me it was great and it really was.

The crab dip wasn't very good but the rest of the meal was above average. Large portion and tasted great.

Made a reservation they put it outside and I chose not to and put standard than my son good night here because we’re right by the man playing guitar with the speaker so I asked if we could move and the lady said yes and she was very nice about it but when we sat down at our New seats we were told we could not sit there by the hostess so I asked why we sat outside when we made a reservation not to took them a minute to figure out that we needed to be upstairs at the reserved table that I made a reservation for other than that service was awesome food was good a little costly but overall a pretty nice experience
