   This was my first time at benjamin steakhouse. It definitely did not disappoint. Prices are a bit high but worth every penny. Would definitely recommend the filet and mashed potatoes!

   Not the best steakhouse in NYC, but very good. If you are in midtown, I would go nearby to Mortons, Wollensky, etc.

   First time in Benjamin’s and very satisfied with our experience. Steak was seasoned perfectly, not salty, not bland, and you can still savor the taste of the meat: juicy, melts in your mouth!     Benjamin's is always the best. I took my cousin there for his first time. As usual, I told him "get your expectations as high as you possibly can, and they will be exceeded". And as usual, they were. He was blown away of course. Best steak and food ever. We sat at the bar and Laura and Henry were fantastic. We had a really nice time chatting with them and appreciate their greatness. I've been to many fantastic steakhouses, but Benjamin's truly continues to be a cut above the rest indeed!

    Absolute perfection of an evening. From the moment we were greeted at reception to leaving. Our host Mark was superb - efficient, engaging and a great memory with all the desserts!!! Our third visit to Benjamin’s on our visits from the UK and the best. The food was another level - we had mains of rib-eye and sirloin steaks (cooked perfectly as requested) and the sides of fries with blue cheese, mushrooms and broccoli were all outstanding. Just about had room to share a dessert of chocolate mousse!! Wine list was very comprehensive and lovely touch that not only Mark ensured our meal was great but one of the owners also came across to speak to us to check. Certainly the highlight of our visit this time

    Grilled Shrimps Appetizer, imported Mozzarella and tomatoes salad fresh and delicious. Porterhouse for Two Cooked Rare to perfection out of this world! Grilled asparagus, and Shishito Peppers great pairing with the Steak. Lava Cake for detest with some ice cream, yummy! Expresso martinis were on the money, worth every single penny! Service was prompted and very comforting. I highly recommend Benjamin Steakhouse. I eat here with my wife on a date night when we come out in the city from along Island. The LIRR drops you at Grand Central, one block away from Benjamin Steakhouse. We get recognition from the Hostess/Manager every time we come to dine in! We live thus place! Highly recommended

    This restaurant is a highlight for any special meal. First the food is some of the best in the world. As a global Traveller I can say this is in the top 3 on my list for steals. Second the service is outstanding. Really a good crew, very attentive and friendly. Third something that I have noted in higher end restaurants that has been lacking is the manager personally comes by to check on the patrons. This used to be normal, but I hardly see it anymore. Kudos to Benjamin a true NY steakhouse.

    First the food was amazing! We truly loved the tomahawk steak and the creamless creamy spinach. However, the service was very disappointing. We want to go again and hope this review serves as a suggestion. We felt rushed and the waiter was inappropriate. Our reservation was a 9pm and we ran a little late. The kitchen closes at 10:30pm but if you are going to treat your customers this way, please don’t take customers at 9:30pm. The waiter was not kind and was pushy. I ordered a Prosecco bottle that was not available, and instead of providing suggestions, he took the liberty to bring his own, open it and then would not even listen to my suggestion. He started a story about how this bottle is “just as good” and I wanted to share my experience with Prosecco wines and he cut me off. After our food was served, half way he stoped by and aloud said “omg you guys are all of that!!” Very inappropriate. Then he offered to look for a cork for the wine so I could take it home. I was in shock as I did not ask for this. He was rushing us. He printed the hill without asking and he was gone. We understand they are at a job and have their hours, but we are paying for a service and not for a $20 steak either. Please provide your servers with some hospitality classes or something. People can easily cook their own steaks. They chose to go out for the experience and ours was horrible.

    Wow! Benjamin's Steakhouse certainly did not disappoint. Food was prepared to perfection. Service was impeccable. Waitstaff went above and beyond. Be prepared for an obnoxiously high price tag, but honestly, was worth it for a special meal.

    First time at this location. Probably my last but not at this restaurant. I found the service, while professional, too strange. Before My coat came off I was asked what drink I wanted. I ordered the mozzerella with tomatoes ( do not order tomatoes till almost summer…mea culpa) with balsamic reduction. I didn’t notice the 4 minuscule brown dots on my plate. I asked for the balsamic reduction. Apparently that’s what they consider a “drizzle”. That was a joke. My pasta was decent. Nice sized portion. And the ice cream was delicious. Lunch special. Normally I would not order dessert. Nothing was bad. However for the price I felt a tad rushed. Plus to provide 4 dots of balsamic reduction and describe that to be a drizzle? Come on. That’s just silly. Especially for a steakhouse. I’ll go back to they other location. But not for awhile.

    Very impressed with the service. Everyone we encountered was very accommodating and helpful. It’s a somewhat standard NY steakhouse menu, and from the appetizers to the deserts the food was great. Expensive? It’s a NY steakhouse. Very much worth it for our special occasion.

    Benjamin’s was fantastic all around. The service from the moment we stepped in, until we left was outstanding. Our server Mike was very informative and friendly. It was our first time at this location, but Mike made us feel like we were regulars! The manager John came around as well, and we had a great conversation over some after dinner drinks. But for the food, the food itself was amazing. Steak for two was cooked perfectly and we were surrounded by servers plating our meals for us. Mashed potatoes coming in from my left shoulder, creamed spinach coming from my right shoulder. It was an event seeing our plate fill up with steak and sides! In the end, the steak flat out melts in your mouth, and that’s the main reason to go. Just a prime time NYC steakhouse that will never get old!

    Valentine's Day is not the easiest holiday for restaurants, but the General Manager, Mario, and his staff were definitely up to the task...and then some. Upon entering each woman was gifted a lovely long stemmed red rose. A beautiful surprise. Watching the waiters and busboys was like watching a finely tuned instrument playing a concerto. And when someone was in need of help Mario pitched right in and helped. No one does steak better than Benjamin Steakhouse no matter which of the locations we've been to. Thank you to the entire staff for making an incredibly tough evening for all of them, a job well done. We look forward to returning.
