Great food and great service!

This has been my favorite steakhouse in NYC for a very long time. The food is always cooked to perfection and the service is on point. The ambiance and decor make it the ideal spot for friend gatherings, business dinners, special occasions, and date nights. Can’t wait to be back.

Their food is outstanding, their service impeccable and every single member of the staff welcomes you with a warm smile, great attention to detail and care. 50th birthday!

Absolutely delicious porterhouse- and surf and turf! Made our birthday dinner very special. John our waiter, was wonderful. Our favorite steakhouse in Manhattan. It’s on E41 between Park and Madison. Make sure you come to this one. There are many photos of notable people in the front of the restaurant who have been here such as Tiger Woods, Kim Kardashian, and Bill Murray. Very warm, intimate atmosphere and the tables were socially distanced— lots of room. It’s got the culinary touch of Peter Luger, yet you can use credit cards and with a reservation, you are seated immediately.

It was a real treat to sit down at The Benjamin again. The food was superb. The service was that nice blend of totally professional but also friendly. We missed The Benjamin during the shut down. It was terrific to have it back again.

The waiter was very polite and informative and the food was good. The crab cakes were delicious and the steak cooked perfectly! Had a delightful evening here.

Great service and food!

There wasn’t much to choose from when it came to open restaurant. I think the price did not meet the quality at all. I think meal (king crab legs) were NOT that great. The meal was a 2 out of 5 stars.

Don’t see myself having a reason to return by myself of with colleges.

Dinner was great! The service was beyond 5 stars, very attentive to detail and conversational. We brought a cake and they took care of everything without even asking.

Best meal here yet! Awesome job regarding safety measures and all the employees were super nice!

The best meal we had while in New York City. Service was outstanding.

Decent steakhouse. Only complaint is too many waiters hovering. Don’t get me wrong, I love good service. But its too much. Makes it somewhat unenjoyable as you’re constantly being interrupted by wait staff.

The food was absolutely delicious, but for how much you are paying for being there, the service was not great. The owner/manager did come in to check in with us to make sure the meal was delicious, but then we had to ask our waiter for more water, to clear our plates multiple times, and to see a dessert menu. Not a huge problem - but for the amount we pay - you would think there would be better service.

Great the steak with red wine

Place is incredible I’ve been going for years. I’ve recommended it to everyone who needs a space to take clients or just wants an amazing steak.

The steaks - we had a sampling of ribeye, fillet mignon and a massive T-bone - were exquisite and well cooked to everyone’s liking. Massive wine selection and the sides were just right especially the House Potatoes. Ambience was just right - perhaps a bit too dark - but it really gave a good vibe to those in my group. The service by the waiter, Jet from Kosovo, was solid! He knew the wine to pair our steaks with and engaged in lively banter about his Filipino friends. Great experience and will definitely visit again in my next trip to NYC.

I went specifically to eat the Veal Chop, which is on their menu online but was told that it has been off the menu for a year now!
The manager did give us a free after-dinner drink to apologize, but this should not have been overlooked for so long! Was disappointed since we go to Benjamin's once a year during our visit to New York.

The food was fantastic, we had a party of 7,the waiter seemed annoyed at the beginning of the night with us like we had to go on his pace but the rest of the staff including the manager was great

Amazing birthday dinner!

Classic rock was playing which seemed odd for the environment. For the price, I have been to better steakhouses. Service was good. Ladies room was gross. That always makes me wonder about the overall cleanliness of a restaurant.

Steak at its best. My wife is vegetarian and loves the potatoes and brocolli. This is THE BEST STEAK IN THE WORLD!

This steakhouse has all the trappings of the NYC Steakhouse but exceeds the standard as to the quality of the steak and service of the waiter staff.
No ‘surly’ waiters here... only a friendly staff that was excellent.
The ribeye on the bone coupled with several bottles of red ensured a great meal!

It’s always a pleasure dining at Benjamin’s Steakhouse. It’s the only place I eat burgers at, as it’s always hearty, tasty, and delicious. Can’t wait to be back again!

Benjamin Steakhouse is a great location to host business lunches as the atmosphere is perfect for discussions.

The food was very good, but a little pricey for lunch. I would go back for dinner.

Every children know that the hallway is not a dining room. A narrow table and special waiter who cannot serve without overflowing the water.

Food and service good. We were at a table surrounded by children and babies. Quite distracting. And the tables were way too close together. Food very expensive. Steak knives needed sharpening.

Excellent steaks and very good service, however the venue is let down by the continual 'racket' of a noise and very overpriced steaks and sides compared to similar establishments. New York isn't short of great steakhouses, for the price you pay you could get a more relaxed ambience and warmer surroundings for a similar price
