My waiter smelled like moth balls. But everything else exceeded expectations!
Food wasn’t as good as it was raved about.
From service to food was simply flawless. This experience will be remembered.
Had a lovely 😊 Valentine’s Day & birthday celebration for my wife. The manager Johnny an my waiter Danny treated me & my guests with absolute care. Keep up the good work guys
Want for Valentine's Day and was not disappointed. Great food, they have me a free coffee with baileys in it. Will recommend to friends and we will be going back as well.
Food and Service were phenomenal, a true gem!
We enjoyed so much. Food was GREAT and service was also well enough
Really fine dinner. Excellent seafood and steaks. Can be loud on occasion but was perfect this night. Bring a good budget.
Wonderful food and service. The ambience was great. Our waiter was so personable and gave us great recommendations. Highly recommend!!
Excellent service and food. A bit loud but understandable considering its popularity.
Steak for two was cooked perfectly medium rare and was
Among the best I’ve ever had.
Sides we’re delish (creamed Spinach and a big baked potato shared).
Steak is unreal. Ate late so definite sense they were trying to get us out of there.
John our server was fantastic and food delicious!
Overrated. Meat was not Prime Grade. Vegetables were good and the waitstaff attentive,
The steak for four (porterhouse) was delectable! One of our guests had crutches and the restaurant was very accommodating. The lobster appetizer was fantastic! Excellent food and a lovely “old world” classic ambience. Make sure not to mix this restaurant (Benjamin Steakhouse) up with a restaurant with a very similar name (Benjamin Prime) as Benjamin Prime is not the same. Make sure to let your guests know the exact address so they don’t go to the wrong steakhouse.
Great steak for two.
Cooked to perfection.
it is one of my favorites. The beast steak in New York.
Six month anniversary with my wife - outstanding food and experience. Would return again.
I love Benjamin’s. I visit it every time i go to NYC. This time, the wait staff were a bit sloppy, took a few tries to get the foot right, and could have explained the menu better.
However, the steak was still amazing, the wait staff were friendly, and did reduce our bill, because they knew it wasn’t perfect.
I’ll go back, but wouldn’t be in a rush to recommend to others.
Food was very good. Missed the mark slightly on 2 of the 4 steak temperatures, but overall was very good. Not inexpensive!!
Service and food were excellent
While I do not usually eat steak, I took my wife and brother here for a treat. Their rib-eyes were perfectly cooked and delicious—I know because I caved and tried the steak. I will have steak there the next time we go! The sautéed mushrooms and the sautéed onions were excellent. We also had the onion ring and cottage fries (potato chip) combo, which was good. The house steak sauce is also good. I had the wedge salad w/browned cubes of Canadian bacon and tasty bleu cheese dressing. Wasn’t wild about the soup, but a minor caveat for such a terrific meal. The setting is elegant and the service is flawless. The wait staff know their stuff and do their thing with efficiency and just the right touch of friendliness.
It had been too long since we last ate at The Benjamin. Lunch felt like coming home after a long trip. The steak was magnificent. The service was efficient yet unobtrusive. Things just "happened" when they were supposed to. Everything combined to make for a memorable experience.
Its my first time here and I was surprised
I met a friend of mine after long time
Everything was perfect
Starting from hostes desk to the table
We had server named G and he was amazing
He suggest us steak for 2(porterhouse) medium rare ,benjamin home fries and cream spinach everything. coocked to perfection
My best steak ever that i have
I will be back
Birthday celebration. One of the best steaks I’ve had in a while
I always come for business lunch!
Service and food outstanding.
Love love love Benjamin’s when in the mood for steak and amazing service
Quite possibly the best steakhouse in NYC. The prices are very fair in comparison to the sheer quality of meats that are offered and you get A LOT for what you pay for.
I had ordered the slab bacon appetizer, which is definitely a must, along with the garlic asparagus and one of the rib eye steaks. Everything was simply amazing and I ever took a few more items to go afterwards just to have more throughout the week.
Very friendly environment all around, and our server was very enthusiastic about his job and making sure were we happy. Definitely will be back soon.
Went a few nights ago with a few friends and absolutely loved it, everything was amazing.
Great service! Steak was cooked to perfection and meat was extremely tender. Over all for the price the meal could use more flavor.
We ordered porterhouse for two, medium rare. Only one piece of the entire cut was juicy. The rest was just hard to chew.
The $14 asparagas only has six sticks. Not worth 100 per person
Best steak in the city! My husband and I both had a crab cake for appetizer and 20oz ribeye for main course. We finished them all! The dry aged steak was perfectly crispy on the outside, tender and juicy inside. Service was great as well. Good recommendation from the waitor.
Regrettably, our long waited expectation was not fulfilled. While our steaks were no.1 quality wise, were tasteless making lower standing competitors more attractive.
Simply the best steak in the City. But beyond the food, it's the amazing staff that take the time to get to know you and make you feel like family. Benjamin has perfected the art of customer service. You can't get this personal touch in other restaurants. It's such a great experience here.
Great place. Great steaks!
Soup was too salty and greesy
Mario and his staff are the best in the NYC Steakhouse and dining scene. Welcoming, efficient, organized, and more. And the food is cooked to perfection.
