Benjamin Steakhouse - Westchester Ratings and Reviews
Our server never came by to ask how our meal was prepared. He left without telling us and our bill included another tables meal which increased our bill by $350.00. The manager did come over to apologize but we felt it was too corporate and not very sincere.
A little on the pricey side. Steak was good, not great. Service was very good, and very good atmosphere. Highly recommend the thick cut Canadian bacon, that was the best part of the meal. Overall very good, but don’t expect what you would from a NYC steak house.
We really enjoyed the meal. Food is outstanding, excellent we felt from salads through dessert. Steaks especially. Waiter was very nice and staff was attentive, but my only knock on the service was that there was way too long a gap between appetizers and the main meal. But that's on the kitchen, not the waiters. We had a nice table, but with large windows it was kind off cold in our corner of the restaurant. As for 'Value' I have to rate as 'Good', because a fine steakhouse like this is never inexpensive. All in all, I definitely recommend Benjamin Steakhouse if you're looking for a solid steakhouse menu and good service.
We love this restaurant. The service is exceptional and the food is always delicious. From beginning to end, we have 0 complaints. We've had dinners for just me no my wife, to business events and large birthday parties. No matter which one, the service was perfect and the food was at the highest quality. I would recommend the restaurant to anyone who asks.
Maybe because it was Christmas day and they were very busy but we were very disappointed with our experience at this restaurant. The quality of the food did not match the prices. I was disappointed in my rack of lamb. It was a little on the dry side with no accoutrements. I don’t think we will be going back to this restaurant. Too expensive for the quality of food.
Benjamin is an excellent classic Steakhouse with great steaks good side dishes service was exceptional there. Prices are a little bit heavy but well worth it. If you're in the mood to go to a great steak restaurant Benjamin's is spot. Benjamin's White Plains New York beautiful restaurant with great food and great ambience. Go there and enjoy it's as simple as that.
Thank for a wonderful meal.
Husband and I really enjoyed. Just the two of us; had a drink at the bar and then sat for dinner. Restaurant was festive with holiday decor; the fireplace going (not real fire but still nice). Service was nice and our porterhouse for two was perfectly cooked and good flavor. Sides of cream spinash and cottage fries/onions mix. Delicious Benjamin salad to start. Overall very positive experience.
Maybe I was expecting too much but I was rather disappointed with my first and most likely last outing at Benjamin. We live closer by and have been wanting to try out Benjamin for a while. We finally got the opportunity because grandma was able to take care of the kids. I ordered the ribeye medium and the wife ordered the rack of lamb in medium as well. Both came out overcooked. I sent my back but the wife was ok. She said the lamb was ok but definitely not worth the $48. For the medium ribeye that I did get, I'm going to agree with the wife as well. We did enjoy the $20 something crab cake appetizer though.
My family, friends and I all enjoyed dinner the other evening at Benjamin Steakhouse. I enjoyed a lovely salad followed by Chicken Parmigiana which was delicious. All of my family & friends enjoyed various types of steaks and all enjoyed their dinner coupled with broccoli and asparagus. The restaurant has a warm ambiance and the service is excellent. Benjamin’s Steakhouse was decorated for the holidays which was lovely.
My wife and I went here for the first time. I had the NY Sirloin and she had the Junior Sirloin. My steak was hands down the best steak I have ever had. Hers was also phenomenal. We also got the steak fries which were very good and the creamed spinach for which neither of us particularly cared. Overall, we felt that it a great experience. The atmosphere was outstanding. The place was beautifully decorated for Christmas and it was a very pleasant experience.
Celebrated fathers 67th birthday with party of 15 adults teens and child. Server was amazing and attentive. The food was timed and served accordingly and we had a private area in the restaurant so we could all enjoy our time together. Food is always spot on and delicious.
Overall we enjoyed the evening. Staff was attentive. One waiter spilled some of our wine, which at $145/bottle, was annoying. There were a couple of occasions where the room was too smokie as if the kitchen exhausts were not working. King crab legs were very good.
We'll go back.
