Rib Eye Steak*
Great food. Better service by Ben who is a consummate professional waiter. He was not intrusive but was very attentive and personable.
The steak was grilled to perfection. The portions of steak and sides were generous. The wine came from an extensive wine list and was superb.
I highly recommend this steakhouse for those who want the Manhattan Steakhouse experience without the hassle of traveling to Manhattan. As good as and maybe slightly better than Lugers.
Wonderful place with great service and food.
Dined here for the first time last night. All in all very good. We dined inside & the noise level was a tad loud due to the piped in music & made it very hard to talk my date. I did notice upon our departure that the outdoor dining was much quieter as there was no piped in music. If it weren't for competing with the PA system inside it would have made the experience much more pleasurable.
Benjamin SteakHouse Westchester....Always a Great Night Out
Excellent food and service.
love the huge tent and ceiling fans. Kept the air moving and comfortable.
Have been many times. Always great. Keep up the good work!
Been here on many occasions and it never disappoints. Food is amazing and staff goes above and beyond. Best steak house in Westchester!
Excellent as always. Just came back from a week long camping trip and was craving a good steak. Craving satisfied! Had the mussels special, Benjamin’s soup, Wedge salad, to split and the porterhouse, cooked to perfection. Overall, a great time!
My experience this time was completely different than when we came on a crowded Mother’s Day Evening. Glad I gave it a second chance. Very good! Thanks
Steak was mediocre. Usually very good at Benjamin’s but not this time. Very average especially for the price point.
Porterhouse steak was not as tender as it has been in the past. Lobster Bisque could have been served hotter too. The noise level in the main dining room was very loud. Our table of four had to scream to hear ourselves. Somewhat disappointed overall.
Service excellent - food delicious!
We really looked forward to spending our anniversary at Benjamin’s but ended up being very underwhelmed.
Our waiter was not into it at all, very dull and uninterested. Service became slow towards the end, however they did get busy by the time we were finishing.
Food was very subpar for the price. Crab cake was very average but for $25 you expect much more. The bread did not taste fresh and our half-filled bread basket was taken from us mid-appetizer without being asked if we were finished with it. I requested more bread and they brought some back but without butter. Kind of pointless. Filet mignon was probably the best part of the meal. Ribeye tasted unseasoned and was very underwhelming. Cocktails were good. Broccoli was as good as broccoli can be, same as mashed potatoes.
For a $230 dinner we expected much more. Ambiance was okay at best. We likely won’t be back. We’ve had much better steakhouse experiences elsewhere.
First rate steak with sides with excellent service
Great dining experience!! The food was excellent and prepared to perfection. Our waiter was very attentive, excellent service- everyone was very friendly and accomodating.
My friends and I enjoyed a delicious meal here. Ben our waiter could not have been more attentive and capable. We were seated immediately and I cannot begin to say how perfect our meals were from the freshest oysters to the tastiest steak! I highly recommend Benjamin's.
The tomatoes and mozzarella were quite good, but it went downhill from there
My rib eye was undersized and over seasoned. Smothered in pepper
NYC city prices without the quality
Equivalent quality can be found at dozens of Westchester restaurants at half the price
The wait staff was to be commended; however, there were flies everywhere on the outdoor seating area.
This used to be one of the nicest places to eat in Westchester. The food is still quite good, but on our last visit there the service was pretty slow. Worse, there were other diners there in sweatpant suits, t-shirts, and flip flops. When did the dress code turn to that of an iHOP? For the prices they charge, you should feel that you are having a dining experience, not grabbing a quick bite to eat on the way to play softball.
Food was average and some of the waiters had an attitude as if they were doing you a favor by coming to Benjamin's. The food was way overpriced for what you get. Look elsewhere. I have eatten at Benjamin's three times hoping things would get better....three strikes!!!
Place is an absolute gem. Waiters are extremely friendly and helpful. They listen to what u want. Exactly. No pressure to order.
They forgot to bring my soup. They also forgot to bring salad dressing for the salad.
Great food and service! Best steak fries every had (or at least in a while)!
Family celebration made perfect by wonderful meal and service. Standout dishes included shrimp cocktail, Canadian bacon, steak for 4. Side dishes and wine were excellent. Only disappointment was French Soup; it was sub-par. Also vegan choices were minimal. Still the vegan in our party enjoyed the night immensely as the wine, atmosphere, service and quality of the available vegan options (broccoli, asparagus, mushrooms) made up for lack of vegan main courses.
Food was excellent! The filet mignonette was cooked perfectly and was so tender! Service was friendly and very attentive. I loved the wedge salad! We all shared 1 piece of the chocolate lava cake which was just enough to enjoy the sweetness! Overall, an excellent meal!
It was our very first time at Benjamin steakhouse. My husband had been dying to go he loves steak and we heard so many great things about Benjamin. So we decided to go on our wedding anniversary 32 years married. Overall our staff was absolutely outstanding they were fabulous. I was however disappointed in the food but most that I was disappointed in where the drinks I had ordered a lemon martini and a Cosmo and they were just pretty much all vodka, I did not taste the lemon in the lemon martini and the Cosmo was not a Cosmo. The desserts were absolutely fabulous and our waiter made it extra special I wish that I could remember his name he was wonderful superb. And that it was a great experience and again the service and wait staff was absolutely wonderful everyone was wonderful.
One of the best, if not the total best, steakhouses in the NYC metro area.
Steak excellent, consistently cooked to requested temperature, which is surprisingly uncommon for high end steakhouses. 'Nuff said
It is always good…always consistent.
We ordered the petit filet mignon and it was perfectly cooked and delicious as were the mashed potatoes. If you order the shrimp cocktail to start, you must tell them how many shrimps you would like. That caused a bit of confusion. They were huge and scrumptious with two kinds of sauce. The cocktail sauce was a bit hot. Our service was excellent: attentive but not intrusive.
The hostess wished us Happy Anniversary but don't expect an Amuse-Bouche or even Happy Birthday written in chocolate sauce on a dessert plate. I guess that's considered déclassé but disappointing nonetheless. The table settings were bare, no candles, no flowers, no 4th of July celebratory decorations. If it weren't for the food, I wouldn't go back again. It was an expensive outing for such a minimalistic atmosphere.
Great food. Wait staff was very pleasant and courteous. Fun experience.
It was great. We loved it.
Wonderful meal. Perfect portions. Lobster bisque was amazing. Can dress up or down and still feel comfortable.
Great service food and enjoyable time
As usual, the porterhouse steak for 3 rocked! Service was excellent and rest of food was delicious. Only complaint is that the noise level can be a bit high when crowded and hard to hear folks you are seated with.
We were celebrating a milestone birthday and this place was perfect. Our table was great and not noisy. Our waiter, Ricky, was friendly, funny and efficient. The food and wine superb. It was a really special night.
We ordered the seafood tower and it was extraordinary! The service was impeccable, the atmosphere lively. Benjamins is always outstanding!
Our first visit. Filet Mignon and Rack of Lamb were excellent, onion rings were a real treat. We’ll be back.
