El Benihana ofrece una experiencia gastronómica inigualable. Los comensales se sientan por grupos en mesas compartidas, donde un chef personal se encarga de practicar el antiguo arte del teppanyaki. We’ve been there very many times before. This visit was to introduce a family member we were meeting for the first time. She traveled all the way from Italy! I had made a special request for a more experienced chef so she could get the whole Benihana experience. The BEST. You did not disappoint! Our chef was AMAZING!! Food was delicious as always! We all had a most lovely Father’s Day and our out of town cousin enjoyed herself very much. Thanks again :-)

My wife and I both ordered the filet Migon and fried rice dinner. The food and service were excellent. The staff was friendly and efficient. We thoroughly enjoy our dinner and birthday celebration with another couple. Highly Recommend the Benihana in Wheeling Illinois.

Normally, this is one of our favorite restaurants. However, this time the food was off. The soup was too salty, the salad was not fresh, the rice was overcooked, and the chef had the grill too hot which caused some food to be burnt and overcooked.

Server wasn’t great, hibachi chef didn’t talk or engage at all. Not fun and exciting like other hibachi experiences. Food wasn’t great and left feeling very underwhelmed

The service was great I will give it that, but in terms of the food a dead ant was found on my fiancée food, and then a large ant started crawling around the plate. We were not very happy about that, but the restaurant did take it off the bill. I will not be returning to this location, because not sure where the ant came from. I could understand 1 ant POTENTIALLY, but not 2 of them on one plate.

Another excellent meal at Benihana’s (Wheeling)! Was feeling like a steak and no other local place came to Mind except Benihana’s. The Japanese A5 Wagyu is definitely worth splurging on, and of course with their famous fried rice it’s really the perfect meal. Our chef Omar was excellent and so was our server. Thanks again for the excellent meal.

Waitress had thumb in empty soup bowl from other customer, then same thumb in my salad she handed me moments later. Repetitively handed us our food and later our bill over the cooking table, having us strain to get these rather than walking around to serve us. Didn't bring the drink I had ordered. Grabbed my hand to press the credit card device the way she wanted me to press it. Our chef clearly didn't know the cooking show compared to chef at adjacent table. Have been to this Benihana location many times over 20 years. Terrible decline. Spoke with manager on the way out. Was offered the $16 tip back I had left.
