Benihana - Westgate Las Vegas Resort & Casino Ratings and Reviews
We had a decent meal. I would say the one negative was that the way the meats were cooked some at the table had their main meat source long before others at the table. My business companaign got his fish long before I got my Steak and the chicken cam even much later. He had to wait for me to finish my entrees so we could leave. Very disappointed from that standpoint. At other locations we have all gotten our food more closely grouped together.
Happy chef and waitresses despite an apparent labor dispute at the hotel. Food was well prepared and all had a good time. My shrimp appetizer was perfect. My chicken could have been left on several minutes less than it was as it was slightly dried out and over cooked.
Overall a great time.
We were here for our 8th anniversary and it would have been a great time if we were sat at a different table. We were sat at a table with a dad and his two kids and a couple with their kid. We should have planned a lunch here instead of an anniversary dinner. The food and our chef was great though.
One of the most elaborate Benihana Restaurants in the chain, this vintage Vegas outpost at the "hotel where Elvis sang" is a terrific treat if you're in Vegas and want to have some fun. The food is fresh and delicious. The drinks are good, and the service and cooking "performance" are deligthful.
We've dined at many Benihana restaurants before including this location, but our experience tonight was top-notch. Our server Hau kept our drinks full all night and gave us prompt, polite attention - much better than we are used to receiving. Our chef, Tang, was absolutely exceptional. He used techniques we hadn't seen before, including melting garlic butter then tossing the finished meats in it, and all of the food was even more amazing than usual.
In general, this location is the best Benihana in Las Vegas - the large vent hoods over the tables keep it well-ventilated, the staff are experienced and well-trained, the tables are clean and sanitary, the whole ambiance of the restaurant is more fun because of some creative interior design. Avoid its sister location in the Fashion Show Mall at all costs - it smells terribly of burned oil (and when you leave, you do too!), there's terrible service, cramped tables and the cooking top tables did not look as clean as they should be - including the "trash" chute on one end of the table that was dirty and disgusting.
Benihana - Westgate Las Vegas Resort and Casino was excellent for New Year’s Eve celebration. Food was really good and service was great. Dinner ended at 11:50 p.m. just in time to celebrate 2018.
A live band was there at Westgate Las Vegas Resort and Casino playing rock music that made it so perfect for us to ring in 2018. Benihana at Westgate made our new year’s celebration a place for making such a good memories.
Yes, I’d recommend Benihana - Westgate Las Vegas Resort and Casino to colleagues, Friends and family.
Thank you for making us feel at home and for giving us such a great service!
This is a great place for friends, group gatherings, office parties, and birthdays. Unfortunately when your are eating at the Tappen table, they crowd the area with little room for comfort and eating. It still has some of the best Chiefs and great meal selection. Consideration should be made on changing the birthday certificate for availability Sunday thru Thursday, and due away with the requirement to have a printed certificate. All other restaurants except there certificates from a cell phone.
By far the BEST Benihana I have ever been to. The atmosphere was beautiful. Made you feel like you walked into a part of Japan. Our cook Tommy was excellent. He made us laugh and we had a great time. The food was excellent and savory. The photographer captured our picture beautifully. Great memories were made to be cherished always! We Will definitely be back again!!
This was by far the worst Hibachi experience I have ever had! The food was priced high, extra charge for fried rice, and the seasoning/taste of the food was terrible. Veggies had no flavor, fried rice had a weird texture and little to no flavor, and the chicken was dry. Our chef was amazing with his “stage presence” but the food just didn’t match up. I was very excited, but don’t get your hopes up or spend your money here.
Our first time at Benihana. Went there to celebrate anniversary. Loved the decor. Didnt like the overpriced menu. $50 for a small bowl of simple chicken fried rice, a few scallops and grilled veggies. Guess your paying for the chef show and lame jokes. Went and experienced it. Probably won't return. Would only recommend to try at least once.
Our waitress was completely not interested in making sure we had drinks or even the proper order. She was merely going thru the motions of being there and seemed indifferent to the fact that her tip was reflected on her service. The food didn't taste right either very bland not what I expect from the benihanas chain which we've been to plenty and is usually very reliable for a good or great meal. Even the salad and ginger sauce was off. What a shame. I felt bad because I got everyone there for dinner and I felt like I looked bad.
My staff truly had a great time at Benihana's we were there for our company dinner and everyone enjoy their meal that was my first time coming but I wanted to come back the next day that's how much I enjoyed thank you for giving us a great experience I will soon return you guys are now my favorite restaurant
Excellent experience overall. Because of the nature of a teppanyaki restaurant the noise level was elevated, and it was challenging to converse with our friends. Our seating group of 8 was fairly quiet, but the group at the table next to us was extremely noisy. The woman taking photographs was a bit aggressive and loud. Food, beverages, ambiance, and the show put on by our chef were all great. We will return, and will recommend Benihana to friends and family.
